Who exactly was a clan leader? what were a clan leader's duties? can anyone become a clan leader? how does one know if they're worthy of being a clan leader? Night's head was filled with such thoughts but when he looked at Nate, all of them seemed to have been for naught, he didn't understand what he felt but he knew that Nate was the perfect fit, the best option for the clan leader position.

A clan leader was someone trusted and someone who could handle everyone without any issues, he/she knew what was the best course of action to take most of the time, their duty was in the name of the position itself, a clan leader's duty is to literally lead the clan. Naturally, not everyone can lead a clan, or even lead, while some lead through experience, some lead through their instinct and feeling.

Ken, the leader of Relentless, nobody knew his personality that well but it's safe to say that he was a level-headed player, a no-brain idiot could never lead a clan of elites but why? the answer to that is simple, while strength is important, it isn't the most necessary, of course, strength was needed to prove to everyone that they are worthy of being a leader but the true essence of a leader is in handling and communicating between the members, only an elite player himself could handle a group of elites, similarly, who better than Nate to lead a clan, Nate always accompanied Night and through Night he gained the opportunity to witness countless geniuses and powerful people.

"....Are you sure?" Nate asked," First off get up, it's embarrassing..."

"Sorry sorry, and yes I'm dead sure, you're better at communicating than me and you have a better grasp of understanding intent, besides it's not like you'll have to make the decisions alone, there will be others, and I have a few in my mind already," Night said with a thumbs up.

"Alright, I guess we can talk about this later, also the Montreal event is in less than a week, I say we leave the day after to avoid unnecessary traffic, you never know, Genesis is awfully popular these days, it's all anyone talks about....I'll book the tickets once we get off the game but Luke....."

"Hmmh what is it?"

"We need a place to stay....I've already looked for any available hotels but it seems all of them are booked and have been so for the past month, apparently 90% of these bookings are because of the event....I think we'll need to stay at yours..."

"Man..." Night said, "Alright, I guess...if we really have no choice then.."

"Perfect then, are you going to call your mom up or something?"

"That won't be necessary..."

"What does that mean?"

"You'll see,"

"Alright, oh I can't believe I forgot but I met Sephiroth..." Nate said making Night's spheres explode in his face.

Nate recalled the events and how they progressed, he made sure to go over every single thing that happened including the two spectators who just stood there and watched, he told Night how he barely survived and logged out thanks to Sephiroth's stupidity.

"Huh? what the f*ck? I don't even know the dude....and he's so pressed because I beat him? actually, forget about that, he tried killing you because he thought you were me? I don't get it...disliking me makes sense as that's just human nature sometimes but hating me? enough to kill me? enough to kill someone without actually confirming if they are me or not? this is worrying..." Night frowned, more than threatened, he was concerned, of course, there was probably nothing that could make him feel threatened, he was worried if Sephiroth would end up doing something that can't be taken back.

"Alright, then it's time I carry you," Night said startling his friend.

"Huh?"

"You're not going to run away or depend on the opponent's stupidity forever right?"

"Of course not"

"Good then, let's get you to level 100 first, the faster you ascend the better, especially because you have the double exp buff, it might be hard but I think we can reach level 100 in the next 3 days, thankfully technologies advanced so much that we can even play while on the plane or even in the car, I think it'll be better if you reach level 100 as well, especially since we're planning for something huge on the Montreal event..."

"That does make sense...but do you actually think we can level up so much? if that was the case everyone would be doing so...I understand if this was the pre-ascension you, you had the buffs and all but I'm only level 70...and that was because we killed a few mobs here and there..."

"Man, you worry too much, just leave it to me,"

"Let's go...I'll show you some real speed," NIght said as he dashed off.
