Unlucky?Player Chapter 87

Njal and the others completely forgot about the weird occurrence, that is the feed getting cut off. They were just too distracted by Night's presence at the moment, however, that didn't last too long as that familiar and shocking presence soon disappeared and they were just met with good old Night.
'A Draugar Duke and 16 Generals?? there's definitely something wrong here,' Njal thought as he looked around the room to see the Draugars 'lifeless' bodies.
"Ah Sir Njal, while I cannot say how I did because I've never heard or seen of people clearing such dungeons, all I can say is I hope I passed your test," Night said as he walked towards the Einherjari.
'Is that even a question?' Njal thought but he held back from saying it, "Without a doubt....in fact, you more than passed the test, I understand this isn't the place for saying this but...It makes me happy to build a healthy relationship with such an Individual, then from this day onwards, let's work together." Njal said and held his hand out.
Night gladly accepted the gesture and said, "Thank you Sir Njal, if I may, is it possible for you to spread the word around? at least around the parts that you have influence over, It would save me from future trouble,"
"Oh? that's all? of course, that'll be done, now then come, let's talk for a bit," Njal said before guiding everyone back to the living room.
Just like how the Imperials had the Falcon Order, a group of 30 Elite Knights capable of destroying Kingdoms in a single day, the Norse Kingdom had the Einherjar, an equally capable group of 30 mighty warriors. They weren't allowed to rule over any regions and more or less acted as guardians of some sort.

The Kingdom as a whole was divided into circles or regions, the outer, mid, and the inner. The Einherjar were posted in these circles/regions, from the lowest-ranked 10 to the highest, the lowest 10 being posted in the outer circles, the next 10 in the mid, and the highest 10 in the inner regions. Other than these 3 circles, there is another region, the central, where the royal family and other such nobles exist.
Within each circle or region, there were 10 cities or city-like regions, the Einherjari were posted within a city at random, however, the cities did have official rulers, and they were called chiefs. While the chiefs weren't as strong as the Einherjar, they were definitely formidable enemies. Every circle had one supervisor of sorts and this individual's identity is only revealed to the Chief's and Einherjari of the Kingdom.
To put it into simple words, the Norse Kingdom had, 30 chiefs and Einherjari, along with 3 supervisors for each region or circle, with the King of the Norse Kingdom as the ruler of the central region.
"Interesting....." Night said as he heard Njal talk about the Norse Kingdom, of course, most of this was public knowledge.
"Very well, Sir Njal, I enjoyed my time here, I thank you once again for your hospitality, it is unfortunate but I must take my leave," Night said as he held out his hand.
"Nonsense, it was an honour, however, I will say, not all of us are as such, then until next time, Night," Njal said as he accepted the gesture with a smile, "While I cannot officially put it on paper without talking with the chief, I will say that you have gained my respect and do not worry, the chief will definitely be looking forward to working with you,"

"I will keep that in mind," Night said before logging out.

"Phew, anyway, guess it's time to get ready for the event tomorrow, is it dark yet?" Luke said as he peeked through his curtains, dull, everything looked a little weird to him, it was bright but rather dull, he could see the trees gently rustling but the silence of the streets was what made it weird but the second he blinked the entire view ahead of him turned dark, he could barely see anything anymore, only thanks to a streetlight could he see anything.
"What the...meh guess I need some sleep," Luke said before falling onto his bed and sleeping.

Fragments of Glass
before the 1939-1945 War, most churches in England had stained glass windows, but despite local people's best efforts many of these windows were smashed in the bombing. What could be repaired was repaired, but in many churches all they could do was reassemble the remaining fragments randomly, with extra bits of clear glass added to eke them out to fill the windows. That is what I imagined for my collection of short stories: fragments of stained glass, bits of robe, bits of faces, all sorts of odds and ends randomly stuck together. And with quite a lot of clear fragments among the coloured ones. Just broken pieces of stories that anyone can look through.
