[The 20th Dungeon of Valhalla]
"Valhalla...."
The dungeon was like any usual dungeon with the exception of ice mixed into the ground, with the walls somewhat reminding Night of his hair, the dungeon itself was huge but it wasn't exactly a straight path, naturally. It was possibly a hidden treasure of a dungeon, there's no way it would be something easy.
'Man, I sure did come a long way...now that I think about it, it's been a while since I've met that old man... let's not think too much about him, don't wanna end up summoning him, especially in a Norse domain...'
"Mhhh? Oh, skeletons? no, wait Draugars?" Night said with a frown once he spotted multiple enemies ahead.
'Draugar Soldier huh? what is this "Older scrolls V"? whatever, let's finish this up,'
Just like the demons, and other major species, the Draugars too had ranks, with the soldiers at the lowest rank. Naturally, Night easily took care of them, in just a few seconds, all the mobs were now broken bones on the floor.
"Impressive," Njal said while he was watching Night through a huge magic screen.
"Certainly," Kenny replied to Njal as if Njal could hear him,
"Sir, he can't hear you," Reed reminded him.
"Interesting," Kenny replied, the two of them were like zombies, constantly watching Night's every move and very rarely blinking.
Roughly an hour later, Night managed to find a stronger mob, up until then, he just dodged and basic attacked but looking at the new monster in front of him, he would probably have to switch things up a little, or at least that's what he hoped, it was awfully boring for a battle fanatic like him.
"Draugar General huh? alright, let's see," Night said as he stretched his hands and legs, so far he had only been using his sword which was the same one he borrowed from Blade but finally, Night decided to bring out his new weapon, Glacial Balance.

"Let's try this out now shall we?"
Before he could approach the Draugar General, Night decided to get a little familiar with the weapon first, especially because he never really tried a double-edged sword.
"Hmm? that's an interesting weapon...but why is he practicing like he doesn't know how to use it??" Njal asked out loud while watching Night move the weapon between his hands.
"Well, it is My Lord's first time using a double-edged sword, he has never used such a weapon before." Shade replied as he played with Noctis who was sleeping on his head.
"What?? surely you're joking??! that's reckless!! a double-edged sword is an incredibly difficult weapon to master, there's no way someone who hasn't ever used such a weapon can use it by just moving it around!! quickly! aren't you one of his subjects?? why aren't you more worried??!! Njal said as he got up from his seat.
Shade casually smiled and said, "My Lord cannot be judged by your usual talent, I understand where Sir Njal is coming from but it would be better for us to just watch,"
"..." Njal didn't know what to say, where was Shade's trust coming from? and who would be so reckless to use an unfamiliar weapon for the first time, especially in front of a formidable opponent.
"Alright, that should be enough, my health and mana reserves remain untouched so I guess I can let loose a little?" Night said before letting his aura out, Umbrakinesis was definitely too strong in a space that had very little light, there was an abundance of dark element all around him. Night walked into the Draugar General's vision while he let his aura perfectly copy Glacial Balance, which once again made Njal get up from his seat.

"Alright let's do this," He said before he dashed forward, covering the distance in less than a second.
*𝘒𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨*
A ripple of energy blasted everything back when the two weapons met, Night saw the Draugar General slightly smiling, almost mocking NIght. He launched his right leg to the monsters head but the monster casually raised its hand to protect itself, unfortunately, it underestimated his strength, as soon as his kick touched its hands, the Draugar General realized the kick had too much power behind it, if it had eyes they would definitely be wide open.
*𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙢*
The General went flying into the wall, even Njal was confused by Night's kick, it was almost impossible for it to have that much power behind it, little did they know, Night was using a technique that he learned in reality.
'Looks like I cant use this in the upcoming tournament...not unless I want to kill someone...' Night thought as he looked at the General trying to get up.
It was Night's turn to mock him now, with his hand he gestured for the General to come once again which somehow the Draugar understood, and by the looks of it, it didn't like it too much.

A bit of fighting here and there but the premise of the novel is to not focus on getting overpowered. This is something I decided to write to relax rather than having some crazy plot about revenge, demon king, or other crazy stuff. Come join me in my journey of relaxation~ I'm a newbie writer so I apologize for any mistakes down the line. Do point it out in the comment section!
