Unlucky?Player Chapter 52

The Richardson family, known to be a major business family of the world, similar to that of the Rothschild family, were a family established in the mid-1900s, they originated from south London and since then have been known to be a dangerous group, however, due to the lack of actual evidence, they never faced any issues and even if there was evidence, it wouldn't be a stretch to say it wasn't a problem for them, members of their family were either directly involved with law and administration or some of them had leverage that would cover for the family's slipups.
They used their business as a front for drug trafficking and were major players in the drug game. Currently, every member in the family, regardless of position would have to listen to one person and that person was Arthur Richardson, leader of the Richardson family.
In the most secure meeting room of the family mansion, Arthur was seated at the head of the table, to his right was his sister Elena Richardson.
The rest of the spots were filled with the other family members, they were called by Arthur for a meeting.
Just like her brother and the rest of the family members, Elena had clear green eyes with brown waist-length hair, she was around 5 feet 8 inches. On her slender fingers was a ring that most people wouldn't recognize the value of- a pure Painite ring, only the family head(s) were given the rings, meaning Arthur had a similar ring on his fingers.
Arthur on the other hand was a broad-shouldered man, he was 6 feet 6 inches, it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he looked like the modern superhero from the comics, BHOR, the God of Thunder. His dark centre-parted hair paired with his clear green eyes was a combination that would captivate people who met him for the first time.

"We'll be going to Montreal for the event," Arthur said.
The initially shocked expression of the others soon fell off once they thought about it, the general public wasn't aware of how Arthur and Elena looked, and even if they were to introduce themselves as such, it wouldn't be an issue.
Of course, they would still need to be careful, the intel gathered by others was never to be underestimated.
"Now then, while Elena and I are gone, Granduncle, I'm sure you'll handle things," he said with a smug look.

"I thank you with all my heart, young man, no no, the entirety of Tokihiko shall be eternally grateful. Even if you were to fail.... we thank you for trying..."
After reassuring the old man, Night set off to examine the barrier, hoping he would gather clues that would lead him to the Frost Witch.
Since the barrier, was stopping the locals, he could trace back the barrier to the centre, it may be approximate but if he was close enough, Night was sure he could find the location using his Umbrakinesis.
"The rewards are certainly enticing, I wonder what Glacial balance is...hmm.
Besides, you guys excited? I might need y'all to help me. Gosh, I'm excited to try out my new skills."

"Of course, My Lord. I doubted Your Highness once but never again, in fact, I'm sure Your Highness wouldn't require any assistance." Shade said with a proud grin.
Now that Shade had a human form, he was more expressive, there wasn't anything different other than the fact that his appearance was now similar to a human's.
Fortunately, after an entire hour of tracing, Night with the help of Shade and Noctis managed to find the centre, unfortunately, the Frost Witch was very much aware of someone stepping into her territory.

They were now an hour into the forest, completely away from the locals and the demons stayed away due to the Frost Witch.
"Well, guys, looks like we won't need to go through the trouble of finding her...*sigh*

The Forgotten One
Hey there everbody. This will be my second upload to Roll 20. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my previous one due to life and what not but I'm now back and have a some what new idea I've been kicking around for years. We'll see if i head back to my other fiction due to having things calming down. And like always I'm open to constructive critisims. Any way on to the synopsis. The world as we know it is gone. Torn from everyone due to two major things. First and foremost a biologica lweapon that no one wanted to take credit for after it was released and couldn't be stopped (a zombie virus of sorts) and the way that many nations thought to stop it from spreading was to destory everything they could ofcourse that didn't include them selves. So there the world was in a mexican standoff with hundreds of countries with hundreds of nuclear weapons just dareing one another to make the first move. Once again no one knew who started it but it didn't matter once it started the world was doomed. In an attempt to save people some scientists began working on a way to cryogenically frezze people so they could surive the on coming armegedon. The problem was before they could begin testing it on humnas the nukes began launching. In a bid to save them selves a family gave their youngest son to the scientists as a test subject. He had already been infected by the virus weeks before the nukes were being threatened and still retained his humanitiy. After being betrayed by his family after telling them of his ability to stay him self and a few things the bio weapon had changed in him physically he was sedated with enough drugs to kill a whole pride of elephants and forced to take part in the experiment. The last thing he remembers was watching his world close around him (his cryo pod) and his family's face of sadness but also hope in the fact that them betraying him may give them a chance to live. This is a fan fiction in which many aspects of one of my favorite games will be quiet prevelent. It will be obvious to those who have played it but for those who may not the game i'm going to be baseing some of the things in this novel is called Prototype. And no I do not own the rights to the cover. If the creater would like for me to pull it down please messege me.

The Many Blades of Wuxia
Hundreds of years after the Heretic wars ended, life has returned to its blissful ignorant state that only peace could bring. Whilst the never-ending war between Man, Beast and Mutant rages on, most are not even aware of a war that happened between men. Its prophecies shattered, their remnants surviving only in obscure bard tales. One is about to grow. On the cracked face of the world, Essence storms and Beast Waves keep the citizenry locked atop the Emperor city of Qaelang. Knowledge of the past is as rare as the metals that flow into the hands of Sacred Artists and at the root of it all are whispers of a malignant force, ancient and terrible. Holding humanity back from achieving greatness, but hiding too are secrets best left untouched. Balance, discipline and order have held Qaelang secure since time immemorial, the powers within claiming to adhere to them. None are more fearful of change than the ones with the most to lose, but change is coming. Blade of Wuxia is a long character-focused epic fantasy with progression and growth. It's about a boy's quest to become powerful enough to save those he cares most for and give them a better life. It's set in a world of hidden pasts and uncovering them will set him on a path that shakes the Empire. As this is a rewrite that took on a wildly different spin, reviews are most welcome and help me do better. What can the reader expect? A Wuxia society set in a High fantasy world. People are only doing what they know and may have mistaken beliefs. A clever resourceful protagonist with human flaws A far-reaching hidden fantasy world, rich in history. Multiple points of view are used to follow the story to its natural conclusions, not every NPC has all the answers, but there is one MC in this book. Progression will take time and sometimes even unknowingly. MC is not trained in the ways and knowledge must be tempered against experimentation. Release Schedule. 2 chapters a week, family and work permitting. Only if I'm happy with the chapter will I release it. That being said I am open to revision should an articulated critical response show merit. This story is not completed yet but I do have a general idea of what the end looks like for both MC's (yes both) Ultimately feedback will be most influential on the progression of release as it's you guys I'm looking to entertain. Expected Changes None really, I'm writing as I go and have a path planned for 6 books Chapter release rate might change if we take off and feedback starts flowing, but for now, it is just about making sure Arcs flow smoothly onto the next. Cover, yes absolutely! If there is enough interest I will open a Patreon account and use the first proceeds to commission an EPIC cover and hopefully a few scary artworks of our brave Cultivators and the foes they face.
