(A/N): I edited chp37, previously it read Noel you took a few hours but I meant to type few years :/
"Sheesh, the bastard got me, well that was expected," Night said while smiling as he looked at the Guardian wailing in pain and confusion.
Although Night managed to deal 30k in less than a minute he also lost one by third of his total health. The others weren't aware of Night's curse so they assumed he had more health to spare.
"Should I? yeah what's the worst that could happen?" Night muttered to himself.
He charged forward and let his aura dance violently around him, fully utilizing his weapon aura, he sliced at the Guardian once again but that wasn't his plan, he was trying to strike the Guardian with just his aura as well, the same way he did in Verdin against the Poisonous Frogs.
Once he was in striking distance, he took advantage of the startled Guardian and sliced at it but regardless of its confusion, the Guardian's reflexes were too much to ignore, it swung its arm towards Night. As if he was expecting this, Night smiled and used his aura to dash out from his body, normally he couldn't extend his aura too much, at least not yet, he took the Guardians reflex into consideration and calculated it would rashly act out, allowing him to use his aura better.

'It worked!!' he exclaimed internally but the difficulty of pulling the trick off is far too much, he nearly got caught once again and it drains his energy too quickly for him to use it constantly.
At the same time, two individuals seated in front of a large screen, watching Night were stunned, "He...truly is the anomaly," Reed said as he had a frozen look on his face.

For the first time, Kenny had nothing to say, He was aware of the fact that Genesis duplicated some of the physical abilities of the individuals but looking at Night he didn't know what to say.
"He truly....is," Kenny said as he let out a sigh.
After constant slashing and dodging, Night managed to bring the Guardian's health down to 10,000 but now he could only afford to take one more hit from the Guardian.

"There it is.." Night sighed.
Everyone there could feel the ground shake, hundreds of beasts now rushed to their location, within a minute they were surrounded by hundreds of beasts.
Other than Shade and Night, everyone had a horrid look on their face, even if their group was to join in now, they couldn't possibly turn the tables.
Night had a confused look on his face as he felt like he recognized them somewhere whereas Shade had a proud look on his face, 'hah, I can imagine their face when they witness My Lord's greatness.' he thought.

The Guardian had a smile on its face as it ordered the beasts to charge and hunt down Night, not knowing what to do, Night simply stayed in his place and closed his eyes, he was expecting to wake up in Vraun after he died.
"Eh?" he let out in confusion as he saw all the beasts that were rushing to him, kneel around him as they looked at him with respect and fear.
But that wasn't all, he could feel his left shoulder become heavy suddenly, a small beast was seated there, ' an Owl? no, a Dragon? huh?', before he could think about it too much the beast started to rub its head against Night's cheek.
"Well, aren't you cute?" Night said as he watched the beast let out happy baby growls every time he pet it.

'Huh, what is that? I don't think I recognize that Beast but it feels familiar.' Shade thought to himself but when he saw the Guardian of Kriol in fear he couldn't help but smile.
"Ah right, give me a few minutes little one, I still have to kill something," he told the beast sitting down on his shoulder, immediately the beast began to fly as if it understood what Night was saying.
Meanwhile, everyone on the forums was cheering for Kira as he was only a little away from level 100, when he hit level 99, he started to stream so he could gather more attention, all the people who bet on Night were slightly disappointed as there was now a level gap of nearly 20 levels and Kira would soon reach level 100.
Night calmed himself as he charged the Guardian, he dodged the first attack and rolled sideways when the second was launched, a few more minutes, and the Guardian could use its skill once again but he wouldn't give it that chance as he slashed at the Guardian and changed to his daggers to finish it off.

Mocha's group looked at Night in horror, they couldn't understand what was going on, at the same time the little beast and Shade looked at Night with admiration.
Night stood there on top of the Guardian's corpse as it began raining, the clouds started to gather around them or more specifically, him.
A pitch-black aura was emanating from Night as he looked into the sky to read the notifications.
Everyone just looked towards Night and the nightmarish scene, other than the drops of rain that now seemed to be dark in color there was no other sound until Night decided to break the silence.
"Ascend."

NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
