Unlucky?Player Chapter 22

Two days passed by quickly and soon they found themselves at the border of the Forest.
After the initial 5 mobs, they hadn't come across any other monsters, at first they didn't think anything of it but once they realized even the whispers stopped they felt something was off but absolutely nothing happened during those 2 days and now they found themselves at the border.
Finally at the border Night could sense a few shadows, as soon as he found them he was excited again, however, this excitement lasted only for a few seconds as he soon could sense 25 shadows but they didn't stop there, the numbers soon grew to around 100 shadows and some of them were even common grade mobs.
Not understanding what was happening he looked to Noel, "master... wh-what i-is this?"
"Remember when I told you that the Guardian of this region was one of the weakest INDIVIDUALLY?" Noel asked as he now looked like he was suffering from a headache
"...."
"Well, that's only the case when he's alone, hahaha-uhhh"
Soon a figure started to materialize in front of them until a humanoid monster stood there, it was surrounded by the 100 shadows.
The figure looked somewhat like a young vampire except it didn't have any fangs or any clothing that resembled a vampire.
It had pale skin that reminded Night of the NPC that he saw at the start and sharp green eyes.
Night would never admit it but for the first time, he felt like he would die, even if his master could hunt all of them, with the sheer number he was sure to die, and just when he thought things couldn't get worse, Noel told him something that made him lose all hopes.
"Kid, I'm gonna be honest here, the Guardian over there, I can't kill it that easily, due to its nature it has high resistance to dark-type attacks but that doesn't mean I can't end him, however, the issue here is that I don't think I can protect you that well in this situation, I know you won't really die but you'll have to travel all the way back here," said Noel with a stern look on his face.

"....."
Night didn't know how to respond until he finally said:
"I'll go for the boss then, since my attacks aren't any specific type, I'll be able to deal damage and hopefully hold out until you kill the other mobs."
"Ya'sure?" Noel asked.
"Yes."
After questioning as to what they were going to do, both of them decided to rush the Guardian as well as the mobs behind them.
However,
Just when they were about to strike, all the creatures in front of them, including the Guardian, fell to their knees, this made both Night and Noel immediately stop, at first they were skeptical as to what was happening but all their doubts were cleared when the Guardian spoke.
"I sense a familiar feeling from you, a feeling of belonging," the Guardian said as it squinted its eyes and observed Night. Soon tears started to form and it said
"Mother....it's been so long ....*sniff*I see so you were chosen by*sniff*mother"
Suddenly the Guardian brought its fist to its heart and following the Guardian's actions the shadows did the same thing.
"Forgive us, O'great one, It was due to my negligence that you were attacked previously, if you wish to have my head for that, then I shall gladly give it to you"
Not knowing what to say Night remained quiet, he looked at Noel who was now deep in thought, and did the only thing that seemed logical to him, he used 'inspect' on the guardian.

Myth of The World's Trees
And Simon answered their call with a single statement that nobody understood "Et super mos absit hoc hodie!" "Yah!" "WWWaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!" "AAAlllllaaaaallllaaaaallllaaaa!" "EeEEellllleeeeeelllllleeeeeeuuuuuuu!" I, too, yelled a battle cry at the top of my lungs. I had no idea what Simon had just spouted but from Camilla's giggling, I could guess that Simon thought that spouting nonsense was his way of getting out of the earlier predicament. "I forbid death upon this day," Camilla said. "What?" I answered a bit at a loss. "Ancient Latin," she replied smugly, "He said 'I forbid death upon this day'." I laughed aloud "Then he is gonna be really disappointed in everyone here," Camilla did not reply and instead took a deep breath. I did the same, zoning out everything in my surroundings. The environment became a world of electrical pulses traveling across several networks. I perceived the world through my lightning and sped my heartbeat to inhuman levels. I was present now, at this moment, at this point in time. I could feel the electrifying air saturating my lungs, the electrified ground vibrating at the rhythm of the approaching enemy. Then I took a step forward, everyone followed in tandem. Camilla the first, and then the others. Then I took a second step, and this time everyone followed simultaneously. Third step… Fourth step… Fifth step… Then light jogging… Speeding up… Running … Running faster…. Then suddenly, everyone disappeared into motes of light particles that re-constructed itself hundreds of feet above the horde, dozens of miles away from our initial position. We were literally 'diving' into battle.-------------------------------------------------------------------Despite a rough childhood in the slums, Omari had everything a guy could want - a loving girlfriend, an understanding sister, a wonderful teacher, and his dream job. Hello everybody, BoredNerdBooks here. In this web novel I bring back to life the story Binary blood. For those of you who have read the Original, my story operates with the same basic premise but with a few changes like who the main character is and to how the LitRPG, mission, shop, and classes work.(I made them more powerful) And now to the real synopsis. So a weird day starts when you wake up in an escape pod hurtling towards a planet with no idea how you got there. A terrible day is when you get attacked by weird semi-robotic monsters. And an absolutely AWESOME day ends with you getting superpowers because of it. Many thanks to The Irregular for giving me permission to write this. Also, I do not own the cover image if whoever owns it wants it down contact me and I will replace it.
