---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The prince and heir to the throne wanted me to bend over, there was no other way to describe it, he wanted me to bend over and take whatever political abuse he had in mind to satisfy his fragile yet enormous ego. Thankfully I was prepared for a Joffrey scenario, and played my move accordingly.
People like him are easy to manipulate if you play with their ego, all you have to do is jerk their inflated sense of self, and they will do anything you want, as long as you make them think whatever path you pick is their idea, and that's what I did.
I talked with the prince and treated him with the most exceptional care one would offer to someone, giving him compliments and such, weaving my way through his insufferable personality, little by little molding his original plans to my liking. In all honesty, it was rather simple, and a few minutes in, he agreed to my terms.
Our 'accord' was that I would hand him complete and absolute control of my 'Soldiers' during the wedding in front of everyone, to show the world and the nobles he was the pinnacle of leadership, a being so… consequential that 'Mael' had decided to let him control his companies.
What he didn't know was that he would die that day, a quite painful and rather slow death for his hubris, but in the meantime, he was happy with the lies I had fed him, like a good sheep.
Now, dealing with the prince made me realize a few things, nobility had to die. Their corruption and sense of entitlement was utterly disgusting, and I had no intention of dealing with them once I took over, so a new step was in my plans, killing all the nobles, during the wedding attack, that now thanks to the prince stupidity had all the nobles invited, meaning my plans had barely changed, but were better.

If it wasn't because I was keeping a low profile, I would probably do it right now, killing them would be a quick affair for me, but I had to play my part, and be smart, which is why staging an attack was the best path right now, after all, this plan would keep most of the unwanted attention away, at least for a while.
Opening the doors of my study, Sebas entered the room with Renner, who immediately knelt, not daring to look at me without my permission, "Master," the princess said, as Sebas took his leave to attend to his duties.
"In a week this kingdom will be mine," I began, "I have dealt with your brother, and now all we have to do is wait,"
"Is there anything I can do to help you?" Renner inquired, still kneeling.
I looked at her, and smiled, "No, your brother already helped me a lot, even with his over inflated ego, he basically handed me the entire nobility in a silver platter, if anything make sure everyone attends,"
"I will make sure everyone attends their execution, as for my payment…" and there it is, the entire reason she was so eager to cooperate.
"You will get what you want, when I get what I want," I replied, dismissing her from my office.

After my short reunion with Renner, I was informed by Fenrir that once again a group of elves had tried to infiltrate the Kingdom with the intention of killing me, and that he had dealt with them, again, capturing one of them who was now in the torture room with Kaire. In all honesty I didn't know why they were targeting me, considering the only elf outside Mare Bello Fiore and Aura Bello Fiore I had ever had contact with was the hybrid known as Zesshi, which gave me a few ideas as to why they were after me, but nothing concrete.

Oh well, I suppose the only Fenrir captured will let me know why, in the meantime however, I had a mission for Zesshi.
"Zesshi," I called.
"Yes?" Zesshi skipped happily towards me.
"It has come to my attention, the elves have something against me, and I have a feeling it's because of you," I said.
"Probably, my father is the elf king," Well… the attacks make a whole lot of sense now.
"I see, anyway… Fenrir has been dealing with them so far, but… I frankly can't have him eating his time on such a menial task, so from now on… it will be your duty dealing with the elves trying to capture you," I ordered, if she was going to live with me, she might as well be useful.
"And what do I get for it?" Zesshi asked, biting her lower lip.
"Avoiding total annihilation…" I replied.
"Fair enough," Horny little bitch, "I will do as you ask, master."
"Good, now… Fenrir will be your direct superior," I added.
"I will make sure she is worthy of serving you and Nazarick," Fenrir bowed.
At this I smiled, "Good,"

[Demiurge POV]
After a long time, I had finally completed the task our great master had given us, the inventory was finally… complete. With every item, carefully categorized in their rightful place, it had taken thousands of my summons to do it, but I had finally completed the task Alastor-sama had entrusted to Nazarick.
"I can't wait for Alastor-sama to see this," Albedo moaned, probably already imagining herself in his bed as a reward.
"He will be most pleased," I smiled, adjusting my glasses in the process. This would help him to complete the next steps of his marvelous plans conquering the world. Alastor-sama and Ainz-sama… they were so above us, that their plans worked together in perfect harmony, Ainz-sama wanted to rule the world, and Alastor-sama had seen that before any of us, such genius, such power… such superiority! They were born to rule it all!
"I will go and pick my lingerie, I have to be ready for Alastor-sama when he arrives!" Albedo laughed, a maniacal laugh as she ran towards her room.
"I wonder if we will soon have babies running around the halls of Nazarick," I chuckled.
"THAT. WOULD. BE…. THE BEST. TO. BE. CALLED. UNCLE. IT. WOULD. BE. A. DREAM. COME. TRUE!!!" Cocytus, who had been silent until now, declared, letting the idea of being an uncle swallow him into a world of bliss, something I couldn't blame him for, to have such blessing amongst the halls of Nazarick, it was beyond anything we could ever hope for.

Child of the Ancients: An Apocalypse LitRPG
It all started in the middle of Dante's nap. He wanted to sleep his life away, but the system denied his request. Instead, it began to transform the Earth, integrating it into the multiverse by granting everyone stats and skills. He was talented, or so the system thought. And that meant he needed to be challenged. After being sent into a deadly cavern, Dante strives for the future he's always desired. But when he learns about the secrets hidden within him, he's shaken to his very core. He wishes for the nightmare to end until something goes wrong. [The world will end in one year.] Instead of everyone receiving a relatively gentle tutorial, the people of Earth are deemed redundant. Dante makes it his goal to save as many people as he can before the world ends, but with billions of lives at stake, he might have to turn into a monster before he can become a hero. Planned updates (2500+ words): M/W/F. 12pm AEST/ 9am EST. M-F during Writeathon. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: All system apocalypse novels seem to jump straight over the apocalypse itself, which I find very sad. I don't want this to turn into a typical fantasy novel in about ten chapters. Instead, I hope to explore the destruction of society and how things would look if superpowers suddenly appeared in the real world. Before the real apocalypse happens, of course. There will be base building, and likely romance once things settle down. Also dragons, because they are awesome :)
