"Stop it. No. You are lying," Jade said, holding her head tighter.
"You still want to deny it even after being in this situation huh? Tsk, you are stubborn."
"No. I do not wish for anything and I do not crave you, all I want is to kill you."
"Great, keep lying to yourself."
"Aarrghhh!" she clutched a hand to her stomach and fell on one knee after her screams. Xander's heart skipped and he rushed to her side quickly, throwing the guns from their hands and holding her by the arms.
"Jade, talk to me, what is wrong."
"Stop, leave me. Aaarr~"
"Jade." Xander did not know what else to do and quickly engulf her in his arms, as though he was shielding her from all the terrors in the world.
Just from the hold he gave her, Jade felt her insides starting to calm down and her body also began to heat up from everything. Slowly, Xander began to rub his hands on her hand and back to help calm her down.
Unknown to him he was not helping her situation but at the same time, he wasn't helping himself. Both of them began t feel funny at what was happening and their emotions began to rise.
Xyler sighed within him, just from inhaling the lovely scent of the woman that made them completely and utterly useless without her around.
When Jade noticed the change in her body and how she was already yielding into his hug, she shook her head and pushed him away, stepping away from him.
She cast one more glance at him and with confused, sad and pained filled eyes before she rushed out the way she came, leaving Xander behind.
He did not get up from where he was half kneeling and cradling her in his arms before. He just stilled himself and recalled all that was happening. He could not explain it much but just now when he held her, nothing else mattered in the world to him anymore aside from her.

The more he caressed her to calm her nerves, the more he felt the need to want to kiss and touch her skin and by touching her skin, his and had already taken him far. He felt himself begin to harden and it was after this time that Jade pulled away.
He wanted to stop at first but the more he rubbed her body, the more he enjoyed it but she pulled away. He refused to stand when she was going so that she does not see that he was hard down there.
Once he was sure he could not sense her again, he stood up and adjusted his trousers then proceeded to the bed and went to lay on it without a second thought.
He spent that night thinking about Jade and everything about his problem and all it had come to be.
He needed to figure all of these out so that the next time he saw her, he could provide her with evidence that her father was going to ruin his race and he did all he could to prevent it and either she accept it or she kills him.

Just like that, Jade got tabs from Asia directly after Arctic and the other had scouted and searched for news concerning Zale but every time she was being briefed on it, her mind seemed to be elsewhere and she would be lost in her thoughts.
"Jade!" Asia called out her name sharply, startling her fiend.
"Yes," Jade answered jolting from her seat and looking around.
"Relax no bad guys but I need you to concentrate on what I am telling you and after which you can go back to sleep okay?"
"I am not sleeping."
"Then you are daydreaming and you want me to believe you are thinking about your lover right? Please." Asia had said that sarcastically but when she looked at her friend, she could not believe it.

It was indeed true, she was only teasing her friend and did not mean what she said but she was right.
A small smile spread on Asia's lips at Jade. She really was in love with this guy, wasn't she? She felt happy for Jade though. Al l that remained was for her to probably forgive him or figure out the truth.
"I know. I feel so useless thinking about him."
"No, Jade. Calm down. You still love him and very much at that."
"Yes, I love him. I know I do but that is what pains me the most. I cannot love the killer of my parents."
"Technically he did not kill your parents Jade. He gave the order."

"I thought I heard he had a pretty good reason as to why?"
"You call that true? O you think my father is someone who was capable of killing a race because of what? Wealth and power? If he wanted more wealth, he would have subdued the other mafia families in our city but he did not. All my father was interested in was making more relations to give us a better selling market without us having to be smuggling our goods. We need free rights and that was what brought about his demise, so tell me."
"I know and I know you are sure of what you are saying."
"I am very sure. When it was time to take over the business, every secret of our business was revealed to me and I knew it but never once did he tell me or I found out about this."
"But what if it was done in secret? Asia asked critically?
"He wasn't going to be in the reign of power anymore."
"Yes he wasn't but he could control this and give you better grounds with your family trending as the new Lord over Star Cross city."
"NEVER!" Jade slammed her hand hard against the take and stood up to stare deeply into her friend's eyes.
