"I am only sorry for lying to the man I love and I regret not killing you sooner."

"Oh. Hmm, well then let's see if you can still say that after what I tell you next. You hated me for killing your family and you want your revenge. Good, I would give you a chance to carry out that revenge today and you can thank me later."

"What do you mean by that?" Asia asked. She did not like the twisted mindset of this idiot. She never wanted him near Jade for one minute.

"Shut up, Zale."

"Oh no. You do not get to shut me up. I think I should reveal the big secret to everyone and see if your love would still stand after that."

"Zale I warn you," Xander threatened and took another step forward. Instantly a shot was fired at him, this time it grazed his thigh, forcing him to stop in his tracks.

"Be patient Xander." Turning to face Jade again with a mischievous smile on his face he started to say. "The one you should hate is not me or my family. We were only messengers carrying out an assignment. The person you should hate is none other than your lover, Xander Warner, the Dragon Lord."

Jade and Asia's eyes widened that very instant. They did not need him to finish his sentence. They already understood what was happening.

"Xander orchestrated the demise of your family. He gave the ruling order to annihilate the Frost family."

"No. You are lying."

"Am I? At first I thought that the name Dragon Lord was just a tittle until when I dug deep and found out that it was more than a title it was an actual truth. The Xander Warner is indeed a dragon. That would explain the change in eyes, don't you think?"

Jade did not know what to say anymore. This really was a mess of things.

"Aaaaahhhhhhh!!" She screamed out in pure agony when he confirmed it. That would explain everything It was now that the pieces were being put together in her mind.

"ZALE!"

"You cannot do or say anything. Why should I bear the blame for what I was ordered to do. I told you, I would not be the one to kill you. Your dearly beloved would do so."

"How dare you? I would kill you."

"Like I said earlier on, you do not think I would kidnap the girlfriend of the Dragon Lord and I would not make due precautions? I made a barrier but you broke it. It only meant one thing though, you are indeed a dragon and what is best is that."

Xander was done hearing what he had to say and took three more steps forward. Instantly, three more silver bullets were shot at him. Two missed him while the third hit his right arm.

While he was distracted by the stinging pain in his body, Zale drew out his whip and flogged Jade again. "One more step and I would be killing her myself," Zale threatened.

"ZALE!"

As if to make his point known, he signaled for the electric chair plug to be put on and flogged Jade in her torture.

"Aaaahhh!"

Her pain rang out a second time. That was it. Xander was past the pint of caring for anything. His eyes reverted back to their dragon hue. Right before their eyes, he had already transformed into his natural form and as he did, he used his powers to push out the bullets from his body.

"ROAR!"

He was raged beyond compare now.

Three more bullets were shot at him. However before they hit him, Sky and Jay moved with the speed of light and blocked the bullets for him, using their metal wrist shield to bounce back the bullets.

He looked at them and they nodded at him. "We got your back," Sky assured him.

"Is this not glorious!" Zale yelled above Jade's torment and waited to see Xander's reaction."

His chest heaved up and down in short deep breaths. He could see his fangs protruding out and shining gold scales start to appear on his arms. The air around them suddenly became extremely hot and the wind more fierce.

It wasn't just a normal incident that was about to occur and his laughter rang out while he whipped Jade again.

His thought had just being confirmed. "I asked the one who gave me the enchantment to erect the barrier, it couldn't be broken except the mate of the one held captive breaks through."

"ZALE!"

"I was so sure none could do so seeing as she was not your mate but now, I know better. You could break through because of the bond you shared and that was why you could also detect where she was. The barrier was set to keep her radar off the charts of any magical being or scientist but you found her. Isn't that surreal? Now watch as I peel her skin apart and kill you right after."

Xander blinked and that was it. He vanished. The next thing everyone knew was that they did not see him again but soon Zale felt a snarl behind him and just as he turned...

A heavy punch landed on his jaw throwing him far away as possible from Jade.

Xander vanished again and this time appeared at the side of the one controlling the switch. He gave him similar punch but this time Xander was sure to hit his stomach instead.
