It was also at this time he knew without a doubt she was but it hadn't clicked or activated yet.

Smiling within, Xander raced forward, just when he got close enough and could see an abandoned building more clearly in the abandoned area, he felt something like a sharp barrier hit him and at the same time…

"Aaaahhh!." A sharp piercing cry rang out.

The shriek cry rang deep into Xander's ears and his heart. It felt as though his ear drums would explode along with his heart any moment from then.

He stopped and remained where he was in the air. His mind was still searching the environment for what kind of enchantment held up the barrier when he heard her again.

"Aaaahhhh…"

His heart cut the next second. His own Jade, soon to be fiancé and wife was being tortured. What manner of wickedness was that?

"Xander!" Jay and Sky called out to him when they got to where he was in the sky.

"What happened?" Jenny asked and flew forward only for her to hit the barrier and got pushed back. She was lucky enough that Sky reacted on time and caught her, helping her find her balance. "Thanks dear."

Sky smiled at her then returned back to Xyler's side and peered deep into the dragon's eyes. "Xyler, stay. I need to talk to Xander,"Sky ordered.

Just from the fact that he was ordered by a lesser dragon and his fear for what might be happening to Jade, Xyler got angry and was ready to knock Sky down to the ground but Jay anticipated this and erected a barrier to block the attack.

"Calm down Xyler. Sky meant well. We need Xander now," explained, then he closed his eyes with his hand still stretched forward, ready to erect another barrier should Xyler go berserk again. Xander, can you hear me?"

"Jay."

"Xan, calm down please. What is the situation?"

"Jay, it is Quinn. I can feel her. I can sense her loud and clear."

"That is good. At least we have found her. But why are you this distressed and agitated, Xander."

"She is being tortured."

"What? I need to break this barrier and save her quick," Xander informed him and moved back.

"You need to revert back. Change to your natural form and we can break the barrier together. That way when we do, they wouldn't notice a dragon in sight."

"They should so that they feel my wrath. No one touches my mate and go scot free," Xander roared from deep within that even Sky and Jenny who weren't listening on their discussion heard that least part loud and clear in their minds.

Everyone's eyes shone with great delight at the discovery. He had finally accepted the fact that she was his mate. In as much as that called for a celebration, they couldn't celebrate now that she was in danger.

"I am happy Xander but now you need to think rationally. Us your head and not let your emotions cloud your judgment. We stand a risk of exposing our kind, you know."

"While I contemplate, I have my mate being tortured. I am using my head and I would use it quite well. With the might of the mighty dragonnair, mek he leir askerna blurete mekia…"

As he began to chant some words, no one told Jay to step back. In no time he stopped and his head began to glow a dark red light. Everyone gave him space and watched as he moved back.

Without any warning, Xyler charged forward with a great speed. Using his head as his weapon he dashed into the barrier breaking it without a second thought.

The breaking of the barrier had caused a large gust of wind to follow, pushing most of the guards that were in the surrounding back, causing majority of them to fall to the ground.

As if on cue, Xander transformed in the sky back to his natural form and activated his special eyes that enabled him to see past things to the depth of something. It was like an x-ray vision.

He looked closely and could see the number of people inside the building and their strategic places then he zeroed it majorly to the ones clustered in the center of the ware house.

"Quinn."

Not waiting for the others, he flew straight down, landing on his feet and charged forward for the entrance of the warehouse and began fighting any guards in his path, killing them where they stood.

Sky, Jenny and Jay followed after him and rushed forward. It was wrong if he did the killing. He shouldn't be bothered bu the likes of them. His main concern should be the ingrate that kidnapped his beloved.

They activated their eyes too and raced forward past him to clear his path while he charged forward.

Meanwhile, Zale continued with his torturing, unaware of what was going on. Heh ad only paused, asking a few of his men to go out and check what was happening when the large gust of wind blew strongly.

"Please stop it. She has suffered enough," Asia cried out in agony. It broke her heart to watch Jade like that especially knowing it was her fault.

Even Arctic wasn't spared and he himself shared tears just watching Jade go through all of that because of him. "Zale please. I would do anything. Kill me if you must, torture me as you please, but please stop torturing her. I am willing to take her place."

"I said shut up and wait your turn!" Zale hollered. I would grant you your wish soon. Fret not and be patient. Yours would be lots."

He scanned the area and seeing how miserable they all were his ego skyrocketed. "Untie her," he commanded and his men switched on the plug then began to untie her. Suddenly everyone paused in their tracks when they heard the sound of heavy footsteps coming towards the door.
