CHAPTER 152

"What is it? Just tell me and I can handle it."

"If you say so. It is Anders. I think Zale is up to no good. He has been partnering with some major mafia gangs giving you headache."

"What is that sly fox up to now?" Xander was not at all feeling shocked by the news. He had always expected that Zale would show his true colours sooner or later and here they were.

"But that is not just the problem."

At the mention of the name Zale, Jade's ears became at alert instantly. She knew he must have done something grave to make the three masters feel so worried and concerned.

'Now what is he doing again? Which commotion is he causing? Can't he just stay put or is he looking for ways to harm me? Whichever one it is, I must stop him soon but for now, I have a boyfriend who I need to satisfy and get one in return. Zale Anders can wait.'

A cheeky smile shone on her face at her thoughts. She continued from where she left off, touching her upper body and envisaging her lover.

"What is the other problem, Sky?" Xander asked taking his seat close to them.

"You would not believe it even if you heard it."

"Try me."

Sky looked at Jay, waiting for a go ahead from his friend. Meanwhile Xander had his gaze fixed on the two, watching their non-verbal exchange to determine what was going on.

By the time Jay nodded, Sky took in a deep breath and turned to look at Xander. "You would be shocked ta what we found out."

"Anything with Anders cannot and never would be shocking to me. Out with it, Sky."

"Okay. One of the major persons that our intel could pick on that Zale Anders is looking for is none other than," he took a pause first, closed his eyes and when he reopened them, he said the word any mafia gang would tremble when they hear it. "The Unkillable Killer."

At the same time, Xander and Jade's eyes popped wide open.

'WHAT!'

"Yes. We were shocked as well why he was searching for him," Jay chipped in. "At first I thought that perhaps he was hiring him just to use him to kill someone and who else is his hindrance and enemy in this city but you?"

"As true as that may sound, we may be mistaken and he searches for him for another reason. Regardless on whichever one it was, I thought we should let you know."

"That scoundrel!" Xander hollered. He could not believe Zale's treachery could lead to this point.

"How dare him!"

Jade trembled upon hearing the news. She had not expected that Zale would make it known or have people search for Arctic like that.

'This is really getting out of hand,' Jade thought to herself. 'But on the other hand, Xander, Jay and Sky do not really know the main reason why he is searching for Arctic. I must leave as soon as possible and let him know.'

She quickly stood up from the bed and got dressed but before she left another thought came to mind. 'I cannot let Arctic know about this matter. He would begin to suspect my getting involved in the matter or how my relation with Xander is. Sigh, from the look of things, I would have to do everything on my own.'

Without wasting anymore time, Jade took her things and quietly made her way to the door inside his main chambers. She did not know exactly where it led to but her mind hoped that it was somewhere beneficial.

Luckily for her, it was a door leading to his personal elevator downstairs.

'Bingo!'

"Hey Xander, I want to use the toilet, can I?" Jay stood up and began tracing his step to the bedchamber.

Hearing this, Sky smiled at him. He already knew what he was about to do but the Xander they knew was always one step ahead of them.

He was only waiting to see how the matter was going to end. Worse comes to it, Jay was going to have a lot of bumps on his head with Macy having so much to deal with in treating him.

'Let the fight begin.' Sky said in his mind.

"And where do you think you are taking your ass to?"

"To use the restroom of course."

"There are several restrooms in this mansion. Why not go get one and dash away," Xander said in a scroll.

"Oh please, do not be stingy. I just want to… Ow! Ow!"

He had not finished crying for the first knock in the head when the second one came.

Jade who was about using the elevator smiled at their playful behavior. 'Great you guys can still play around, meaning it hasn't gotten to the do or die aspect yet. I can still alter things.'

With that she used the elevator and disappeared from the house.

By the time the other two finished their squabbles, Xander excised himself and went inside to check in on Jade. What a shock for him to discover his tigress was not in the room.

His eyes scanned everywhere but he could not find her. Quickly he rushed to the bathroom recalling he told her to wash up but upon opening the door he found nothing still.

"Quinn, Quinn, where are you?" He called out her name but got no response.

Huis heart had begun to thud loudly in his chest. Where could she have gone when they still had some time to spend alone? Why did she leave the room?

So many questions raked his mind but he could not find the right answer to give.

He rushed out of the bathroom and made his way to his walk in closet. It was the same outcome. Nothing.

Jade was nowhere in sight.

"Quinn! Quinn?!"

By this time his friends could tell that something was wrong. "Xander! Xander, what is going on?" Sky yelled from the other side of the room but got no reply.

'No, where could she have gone?'

He still had a hard time figuring it out. Her clothes were gone and so was she. A part of him wished nothing bad had happened to her.

"Xander! Xander!"

He heard them call out his name again but he was too busy to even bother with them. "Xander, we are coming in," Sky warned him and both himself and Sky made their way inside the room, only to find it in a disarray.

"Bloody hell! Xander!" Sky was alarmed by what he saw.

"Holy shit! What has gotten into you?" Jay asked as his eyes darted to and fro in the room. This was not a good start at anything.

Xander had scattered the bed sheets everywhere and almost scattered every other part in that room, all in search of Jade.

"Hey Xander, calm down," Sky advised him.

"How can I calm down? I do not know where she is. I left her on the bed."

"Perhaps she just went to get something and all," Jay pointed out.

"More like you made her make a run for it when you wanted to use the restroom," Xander attacked Jay.

"Hey, hey, hey you two. This would get us nowhere. Just be calm. If you focus on her scent and I do not mean her arousal," he eyed Jay just for emphasis. "I mean if we focus on her actual scent you would see it leads to here."

He pointed in the direction she took and Xander's eyes dimmed.

"Your personal elevator. I guess your tigress just wanted something but our presence did not allow her use the normal route and she found herself a nicer one."

"Pff hahhaa…" Jay burst out laughing. "To think he was overly worried because of that. You tigress went for a night snack that is all."

"And why is that so funny to you Jay?" Xander attacked.

"Hey big guy, if you haven't noticed yet, look around the room. What do you see? You have made a mess of everything just because of what/"

"Tsk, if not for you, I bet she wouldn't have gone for a snack. In fact scratch that, we would have been…"

'Making love?" Jay finished for him as a matter of factly.

"Yes. Now thanks to you two even that is disrupted. Tsk you two would go in for it," Xander threatened.

"Oh well, don't we always do," Jay said absentmindedly.

"Hold me so I do not give Macy too much work in caring for you. I would smack your head so you have more sense," Sky warned him.

"Relax you two. Stop being so uptight already. Anyways, I suggest he better fix this room before she returns. Poor maids and Poor room."

"You seem to be forgetting I can do so with a snap of my fingers."

Jay was about speaking when Xander indeed snapped his fingers and within two minutes, everything scattered in the room went back to how it was before the major destruction, with some soothing and cleaning change on some places.

"Impressive."
