He liked what she just said. He had no argument. He wanted same. It was as though their minds were one and the same. He was happy they could go for such an oath.

"I agree. This is our oath, our deal and our watchword," Xander added for her.

"Sure. Just ours and ours alone." A sweet smile appeared on his lips. If it was just to be with her like this, it was more than enough for him that he was like this with her.

If life could not give them more, he would not complain much as this joy being with her was worth more than ten lifetimes being without her.

Taking her by surprise, Xander crashed his lips on hers and kissed her passionately again. They continued at it for a few more minutes before pulling apart and resting their forehead against each other.

"My love."

"Hmm?"

"Today is the day. Are you ready?"

"What, like now? Wait I…"

"Hmm, someone was so eager to have me yesterday but now, she isn't as eager as before," Xander teased.

"Hey, I still want you, now and always. It is just that you said you wanted to make it special, so I am waiting for the special," Jade confessed.

"Hmm, I am happy you still have that hunger and eagerness coupled with your anticipation. This is just so surreal. The right thing I want. Anyways, I want to go out with you and take you places just the two of us. What do you think?"

"Anything you wish baby. I know you have my best interest at heart and nothing more."

"Good but I promise to make this day one filled with so much wonders," Xander promised.

"Hehehe… I know. So where do we start?"

"We start from hmm…" he placed a finger on his chin in a thoughtful manner and when it looked like he was not going to come up with something, the doorbell rang to his room and he smiled at her.

"We start from here." Jade was confused, nonetheless, her smile never left her face. If only she knew how much her boyfriend was planning on sweeping her off her feet.

"Enter." The main door opened and they heard it close. Soon three maids came into the room, with something in their hand while the middle maid had a trolley of food with her.

Upon landing her eyes on them, Li Jing's smile changed. It felt as though she was bewitched or something. Her lips fell open when she saw the sumptuous dishes brought before her and just before she could get enough fill for her eyes, the maids bowed to the two of them and instantly got to work.

Soon a fold-able table was loosened and brought on the bed before them.

"Move inside and rest your body against the pillow on the head board." She did as she was told and waited for things to be set.

By the time the girls were done, they bowed before them and went to wait outside the bed chambers of their master, awaiting further instructions.

"My love," Xander's calm voice pulled her out of her food thoughts.

"Hmm?" With eyes still fixed on the food set before her, she nodded her head, not looking at him.

"You like?"

"Definitely." Jade did not need an invitation and she picked up her cutlery, waiting for the right word and viola, go she would, digging into the food at will.

"Hehhee… I love your zeal, baby. Wouldn't you want me to feed you?"

"No need. You would be feeding yourself too. So be busy with that while I, I become busy with these babies." She licked her lips and inhaled deeply before finally peeling her gaze from off the food. "Delicious."

"How can you just tell?" Xander was interested in knowing just how this mind of hers worked sometimes.

"First it was made with love from you to me and secondly, it was your good morning gift to me. Of course it would be delicious. I do trust you to that extent."

"I am glad," Ye Cheng whispered into her ears and blew warm air into it. After pecking her ear lobe and nibbling on it a bit, he smiled and gave her the gap ahead she had been waiting for.

"You can eat now. Devour all these food on your table."

"Oh yeah. I thought you would never ask. Hehhee…"

After breakfast, the two of them went for a nice warm bath and by the time they were done, Jade met a fresh new set of clothes lined up on the bed for her.

Ye Cheng had everything planned out already. As soon as they finished from the house, they went out. First, he took her to watch a movie and once through, the two of them made their way to get some ice-cream before heading for his private jet which took them to his family's island.

It had been some months since Jade last came there. It was at this place that she made up her mind and decided to allow him into her life.

The island held so many memories for her and that Xander loved as well. He wished he could just tell her the truth so he did not have to hide who he really was from her and have her enjoy him in every way.

Each outing with her on that fateful day was one he had captured in his heart and mind. It was something he wished he could recall every blessed day of his life. This was going to be the bomb.

To Jade, they were going to spend the night there and probably have their first ever sex together on the island. It wasn't bad, it was what she could make do with.

To her, the place did not matter. What mattered most was the person she was going to be having such sexual relation with and if it was he, then anywhere was suitable.

"Honey, what is the matter?" Jade asked when she noticed he had been on a call for up to thirty minutes. She was already worried that something must have happened back at home that got him distracted.

"Hey, if there is a problem back at home, then there is no need to remain here. We can go home and have our time another day."

"Nonsense. This is my time with you and nothing can interrupt baby. I want you to know and understand that you come first in everything."

"I know. Alright, do come and have a drink with me. I want to spend each and every minute, second of the day with you."

"Sure, just give me a minute to finalize something and I would be joining you."

"Alright. One minute, your time starts now.' Jade winked at him and then made her way back to her seat.

By the time XZander was more than sure that she had gone, he placed the phone back on his ear and spoke. "Yes, where was I?"

"Young master, you were finalizing the final touches. To all of your arrangements made."

"Alright, then this is what you would do."

About one hour after he finished making call, he looked troubled by something and as soon as XJade found outy, her interest was piqued.

"Xander, what is wrong? You have been a bit more silent since we came here. Tell me, if there is something going on, we can return and come back another day," Jade suggested.

"It… her began to say but stopped soon after. "Do not worry yourself with it. I would be okay."

"No honey. Talk to me. Is it the company?"

Rather than answer her, Xander nodded his head, allowing his eyes to dim further like someone who was depressed about something.

"Fine. You do not need to talk about it but let us return. You would fix the problem better when you are on ground, okay?"

"I am sorry, Quinn."

"There is nothing to be sorry for. Your joy is my joy and your pain my pain. Besides, we would not have been able to enjoy ourselves with you being like this. I love you, I hope that is enough strength to tell you that come rain come sunshine, I would always be there."

"Sure. Thank you so much, Quinn. I love you too."

Immediately, Jade and Xander set off away from the island back home to Star Cross City. The moment they arrived, Xander wasted no time in taking Jade to his house against her plea.

She wanted to go to the office with him, but instead he chose to bring her home, stating that he would go back himself.

Of course Jade wasn't happy but that was what her lover wanted.

As soon as they entered his room and the light came on, he sight before her, left her mouth open and her eyes widened.
