CHAPTER 109

BADUM! BADUM!

If Jade thought she had seen crazy and shocking today, she was just about to see more. Something had caught her eye when he half turned and like a dumbstruck fool, her lips parted as her jaw fell ajar with her eyes wide open.

What she had not expected was to see the stunning perfect image of the dragon on the wall to be at his back as a tattoo.

Her heart began to thud wildly in her chest. She could not believe what she was seeing. This was too much of a coincidence.

The next thing she knew, Arctic voice saying her father's warning began to ring in her head.

She stayed rooted to the floor where she stood. Her eyes suddenly became unable to look away from him and the drawing.

It was not until Xander got to the door and turned back to look at her, that she got herself back. "Seen a ghost or something?"

A cheeky smile danced on his lips as he waited for her to get herself back and hurried to come and meet him.

"I'm sorry." That was all Jade could mutter to him when she got to where he stood and he smiled at her.

Jade quickly turned around and looked at his back, then cast one more glance at the dragon in the painting hanging on the wall before the doors shut close.

BANG!

"Shall we?"

She managed a fake smile and nodded her reply. Before she knew it, she saw a stretched hand towards her and looked up at him only to find him smiling cutely at her.

Watching him smile had given her the courage she needed to stay strong and act like nothing had happened then she too reached out to take his hand.

Instead of her hand to touch his, he pulled away and pulled her closer to his body, hugging her from the side.

"Good morning, my love. I trust your night was sweet."

"Yeah."

"Good, Let's go eat, okay?"

"Alright."

Jade was surprised that he did not bother scolding her from wandering into that room and just treated it as nothing.

She had been beating herself up just because of such and now iut turned out that there was no need or was there?

"Before that though, come let's get your phone charged," Xander informed her with a sweet smile on his face.

As soon as Jade returned it, he did something that scared the breathe out her. He leaned down a bit and scooped her in his arms, taking her to his room.

"Aahhhh!!"

"Hahhaha hhhaaa…" He sure was having his fun wasn't he?

Without wasting time, Xander hurried back to her room and closed the door before dropping her on the bed gently and standing in front of her with his hands at his back like a kungfu master.

No one spoke, they just stared at each other for some minutes, watching and accessing each other silently.

While his eyes roamed her body and face, looking for hint of fear or something due to what she had seen, hers was busy roaming his body, hoping to get another glimpse of the creature on his back and imagining things.

"I'm sorry," Jade apologized breaking the silence.

"Why?" His voice instantly became cold. A total difference from when he smiled warmly and spoke to her on their way here.

Ahem! She cleared her throat then lifted her eyes to look in back in the eyes. Those lovely blue eyes became a darker shade adding a danger sign. "For entering the room without permission."

"Interesting." He sucked in a deep breath then closed his eyes briefly. "Yet you did still."

"I needed to charge my phone but I did not see anyone around."

"So you thought to help yourself to any room?"

That was it. She was a bit offended. It was not like he was there to answer her questions when she woke up and all that. He knew she meant no harm.

Besides, if the room was so damn important, why didn't he lock it instead of leaving it open.

Feeling vexed, Jade stood up fiercely and narrowed her eyes at him as she spoke.

"Hey, I said I am sorry. I never meant to cause any harm. I was looking for a charger and that was the only room opened. Why didn't you lock it like you did the others?"

Rather than being taken aback by her new found anger even though she was the one wrong, he smiled at her and took one step closer to her, daring her to feel frightened as he allowed his imposing dragon aura feel the room.

Unknown to him, an angry Jade was more daring than a dragon. He should have tried better and not think that would make her scared.

Wanting to show him just how unfrightening she was, Jade took her own daring step towards him, closing the small gap between them and placed her small hands on her lips as she strained her neck, tilting her head back to look him in the eyes.

"Aren't you walking into the lion's den without a weapon, tigress?" He wasn't laughing or smiling anymore but she could see a mischievous grin at the corners of his lips.

"I am not afraid of a Lion's den."

"Then how about a dragon's lair?" Okay she was not prepared for what he said and that had taken her back especially seeing the look in his eyes change to a more predatory lustful one.

Before Jade could move back and go for the escape, Xander wrapped his hand around her slim waist and pulled her body on him, leaving her lips open.

"Daring, but you are mine."

Jade did not have a time to respond as the next moment, she felt a warm lovely lips crash on hers and a smooth hot tongue dive into her mouth cave.

It was a hot and daring sensual kiss. It wasn't rushed, a total contrast from how powerful and passionate his kiss was but she loved it.

At first Jade did not want to respond to his kiss and just watch him do what he pleased but the way the kiss came and how it carried on, coupled with how much his tongue was testing her patience by arousing her own tongue to play, she just forgot about ignoring him and decided to defeat him in a kissing duel for dominance.

He upped the eat some more, adding his other hand and bringing it to caress her face then lower it to her neck in a gentle stroke, igniting sparks and causing fires where his fingers trailed.

Slowly, he tortuously made his way to her breasts and cupped one in his hand then rubbed his palm over it.

"Aahhh..." Jade tried her best to fight the moan that escaped but she just couldn't. This was a man her heart, body and soul was in love with. A man that knew everything to turn her on and want her craving him.

Hearing him say that had only made Jade's cheeks redden and hot. She could feel the heat emanating from him through their closeness. Rather than pull away, she wanted more and found herself pressing her body tighter to his.

They were just getting started obviously with more to come and more on its way.

As much as the danger signs screamed in her head, Jade did not care anymore. 'No more playing it safe.'
