CHAPTER 105

Days later, Macy felt more alive and better. It was time to get back to the world and continue life from where she had left it. More like, from where she had run away from it at.

She had also refused to come out and feigned being sick, so as not to reveal the fresh mark of her mate hood with Jay to anyone.

Apparently, after that day, Jay obviously tried again and this time with much preparation she was able to take him in.

He had wanted to really delay but his dragon was becoming a pain in his ass and was more grumpy than before. It was pretty hard to even stay away from Macy, during those first few days.

And now that he met her and she did blow him… Phew, his dragon wanted and needed more. He needed to make her his and mark her as his own and not until the day he did that, his inner beast made him a worried mess.

While Macy was still relaxing at home, Jay used the time as well to hide from people as he was unstable and going out of control.

Eventually, neither of them could hold it in any longer as the bond became stronger, making them want to consummate it. Finally, both parties gave in and did the needful.

It was not until the next week that both of them resumed work at their various companies.

Jade was more than happy having her friend back. Also due to the promise she made with Jay, Macy made sure she did not spoil a thing out of her mouth to Jade.

As she walked into the CEO's office, a small smile appeared on her face the moment her eyes landed on Jade.

'It was no wonder no man had been able to win her heart and then finally one did. It simply was due to the fact that he wasn't an ordinary man. He wasn't fully human and that was why he had what it took to capture Jade's heart.' Macy mentally noted as she strode into the big office.

"Hey, pretty girl. Good morning," Macy greeted Jade when she got to the front of her desk.

"Hello, baby. How is your health?" Jade tore her eyes from the laptop screen she was looking at to fix her attention on her friend. "I missed you and apologies for not visiting."

"It is okay. I had Jay to take care of me, while I left you with all the work. I feel guilty already, Jade."

"No, nonsense. When I was assisting my father with the family's business, who was left to run the company? You. So now, it was just one week off to rest and you weren't strong so I should have given you more. I never expected you would come now. I thought you would take one more week to rest."

"Oh, no need. I feel much better now. So very fine. Thanks, Jade but there really is no need except you want Jay to tear me apart."

Macy quickly used her hand to cover her mouth. Up until now, she had not had time to talk with Jade and so Jade knew nothing about her having sex with Jay, let alone him being a dragon.

Even she had so much to ask Jade. Especially if she and Xander had consummated their love yet but from how a little bit dull she was, Macy knew she had not yet done the deed.

Funny thing to say when Macy was the one who had changed and radiated with much shine and flesh. One thing she did not know, having a dragon's sperm inside her was doing lots more than the normal and nourishing her body.

"If not that Jade had seen her fainted, she would have thought Macy went on some vacation to flex but with the words that flew out of her mouth about Jay tearing her, jade shook her head at her friend.

"Ohh, Macy. I am happy for you. You found love."

"And so did you."

"Haha, but yours escalated to you two having sex so quick," Jade said with a laugh. It wasn't like she was criticizing her friend or anything but she was just happy considering Macy was hurt.

"Well, you won't understand," Macy said and pulled the chair back before sitting on it.

"Try me." The jist seemed to be something more and dear Jade was more than interested. She closed her laptop and settled back in her chair, waiting for her friend to spill the beans.

"In time, my dear. In time."

"Oh come on, Macy. Are you really going to keep me hanging?"

Macy shrugged her shoulders at her while still maintaining her lovely smile. "Nothing to tell dear, other than it was simply marvelous."

"Awwnnn…" Jade gave her friend the adorable eyes with a cute ass wide smile. She felt her heart become elated just because the happiness she could feel radiate off of Macy.

"Stop giving me that look like I am one sweet cake you have been dreaming of." Both ladies looked deeply at each other and then burst into laughter.

They carried on for like a minute before stopping and smiling again. Macy leaned forward, placing both hands on the desk and reaching for Jade's as well.

"Jade, I feel so happy and blessed. In fact, Jay has been the best thing that has happened to my life apart from meeting you. And if not for you I never would have met him. Jade, I am lucky to have you as a friend. I just want to let you know that you mean the world to me."

"Macy…" Jade was mega touched by her friend's words. She did not even know what next to say to compliment her words.

'And it pains me that I have to keep a secret from you. It pains me that you do not know this amazing secret. I bet you would soar so high and be glad but I know it is just for a while. I believe Xander would not hide such from you.'

With her thoughts settled, she rubbed Jade's hand then lightly tapped on it twice before pulling back. "Thank you for coming into my life Jade. Mega thanks."

"I did nothing dear. You are just a free-spirited nice soul who was deserving of all the love she could get but I am glad you found it just alright. Yokatta."

Both ladies laughed to ease the tensed up atmosphere and liven the mood.

Ring! Ring!

Jade looked over to her side to check the caller. Her once dropped smile returned as her cheeks curved upwards.

"It is him isn't it?" Macy asked.

"Yeah." She signaled for her friend to keep quiet and answered the call. "Hey hon, good morning."

"Morning my love. How are you?"

"I'm good. You?"

"Better now that I have heard your voice."

"Hmm, is someone being naughty and shameless this morning?" Jade playfully asked him. Her dimples showing with her endless smile.

Even Macy who sat opposite her felt her smile reach her and warmed her heart. She was happy that her friend gave love and life a chance.

"I am not being naughty, love. It is my baby's mind that is being naughty that is why she is speaking this way."

"Shut up."

"Come and make me, darling. Only if I see you would I shut up by locking my lips with yours." Jade mentally face-palmed at his statement. He was definitely going to be the death of her, wasn't he? Regardless, she found her heart yearning for, even more, much more of him.

"Naughty boy."

"Naughtier girlfriend. I love you."

"I love you more."

"I love you most, my love. You are mine and I am yours."

"Always and forever?"

"Always and forever," Xander replied her question with a beaming smile on his lips, causing his forehead to cringe a little bit.

Heck he loved her! He felt his heartbeat calm down and race at the same time just thinking about being with her.

"Oh, Quinn. What have you done to me?"

"I loved you." Jade bit her lower lip when she said that. She could feel butterflies at the pit of her stomach and knew her body was reacting to him just from the phone.

"And I am happy. Thank you for giving me this inner joy Quin. Always I would be grateful for allowing a lost loved stranger into your life and making such memories with him."

"Naughty CEO, why are you thanking me? We both have each other to hold unto, so long as you are not going to leave me. Perhaps we can progress to the next stage.'

"What! Next stage?" Xander's mind went far at her statement. Was it that she meant, they would have sex or what?

If it was the former, boy was he more than willing to comply.
