As soon as she ended the call, she called Xander back so that he would not get suspicious of anything.

"Hey, sorry about that."

"It's okay. You are a business lady, I should respect that."

"Thanks so much for understanding." Jade was glad she did not have to stress herself too much with explaining anything to him. "Um, you were about asking something. What is it?"

"Umm, I wanted to see you but I guess you are going to be busy so, I would just see you ano0ther time."

"Okay. Thanks a bunch. Do not miss me too much okay?"

"You know I will. But I can manage so that when I see you, I would give you a kiss you would never forget."

"Naughty mode activated, I see. Keep it up with someone else. Bye."

"Wait, Quinn, what…"

POOM! POOM!

Xander removed the phone from his ears and saw that she had indeed ended the call. "Why you, naughty girl. Tsk."

His phone screen locked and he smiled when he saw his lock screen picture. It was a picture of Jade sitting and smiling at the beach when they were on the island.

He had quickly taken a shot at the moment as her smile was breathtaking. That and coupled with how the cool breeze around scattered her hair, further made her a sight to behold.

"Quinn Wales, wait and see. I would make sure you are mine and I would make sure you live everyday not regretting me as your choice."

By evening time, one of Ander's men that snuck into the city arrived at the meeting place with his dealer.

Zale had sent him to come here in discreetly and inquire about Jade. Even though he found Arctic in another city, he sent men to various city to make deal with some of the smaller mafia gangs there and have them help in searching for Jade.

Normally, he should have waited for a pass from Xander and clarification but he felt the more time wasted, Jade would only have gone somewhere else.

That was why he was meeting with this man in secret, against Xander's warning. Unknown to them, Jade was planning on raiding it and destroying any future deals.

In the big bar, Zale's man, Mr Tony walked inside and was led to a private big boot at one end of the bar where his business client was seated with three blonde hair girls surrounding him and attending to him.

"I see you started without me," Mr Tony said with a smile on his face.

"My friend." His face lit up at the appearance of Mr Tony. "Welcome. Please do have a seat and pick any of the girls you like and they would attend to you for the night."

He raised his hand and the girls stopped their massage and flirting, allowing him room to stand and greet his guest.

"It is a pleasure meeting one of Ander's men."

"It is nice to do business with you. I can see that this would be a fruitful meeting. Drinks on me!"

"Why? You are my guest. I can see Anders love to represent anywhere they may be. Drinks on me, my friend. Bartender! Bring your best wine here." He turned over to Mr Tony and shone another sweet smile at him. "Please, sit down."

Both men had their seats and soon began to indulge themselves in small talks.

Right outside of the building three cars pulled over and different men dressed in black outfits highlighted from them with a lady at the middle.

"Boss." One of the men said to her as the others awaited her order.

"You would lead this operation and I would be an assist. Our goal remains the same. Ruin their operation and prevent any form of a deal. Let it be known that any deal with the Anders is doomed for failure."

"Yes, boss." They all chorused.

"Good. Initiate plan one."

Jade put on her mask, leaving only her forehead down to her eyes open with her hair packed up into a ponytail.

She looked like a fierce gang bandit while still maintaining her calm and composure like a frightened young child.

"Okay, you know the drill guys. Let's go," The guy she gave the full command to, addressed them and they all made their way to their different posts.

They had made it so that some of them would enter the bar first and then the others would come at a different time and not all at once.

What Jade had wanted was an opportunity to eavesdrop on their conversation and get any useful information but by the time she got, she was met with difficulty.

There were some men suited up and standing around the private boot Mr Tony and his new business partner were.

"Boss, 6 o'clock." The commanding leader, Jake whispered to her through their wireless communicator.

Jade nodded and went to sit down where he told her to. Even though she was seated opposite their boot, she could still see what was going on.

It wasn't up to two minutes when she sat down that Jake motioned for her to tap her android watch and as soon as she did, she could hear the voices of two men speaking clearly.

Her brows creased a fraction as realization dawned on her as to whom those voices belonged to. She could read their lips even though she was far from them.

She watched their lips and saw that they were really the ones conversing.

"Yes. It is time to discuss business. What really brought you to Moon Crest City without waiting for the approval of Xander Warner?"

"I first of all thank you for agreeing to meet with me knowing fully well about the situation on ground."

"Of course, but you know, nothing goes for nothing," Mr Freed said.

Typical of a businessman.

"I know and that is why I am here to offer you fifty percent off the price for smuggling in the goods."

"Fifty? Why not sixty?" Mr Freed asked.

'Bloody freaking ingrate. Just tell him to ship it in for you free. All these kind of greedy businessmen! Serves Anders right.' Jade said in her mind.

"Sixty! Mr Freed, I think you are becoming greedy. Fifty percent is already too much. I only gave you that rather than to start negotiating price and beating it down, I went straight to the point as we do not have much time. Tsk seems my offer is not valued. I would take it somewhere else then."

"No, relax Tony. I was only kidding," Mr Freed quickly out on his best smile at his partner but Mr Tony was not moved.

What had happened had only shown the level of greed in Mr Freed's heart and Tonight was definitely not impressed.

"Hey, where are the girls? Send three more here to take care of my guest." His smile remained and when he looked back at Tony he saw that the latter now had a less dull expression on his face.

Apparently, he liked beautiful ladies and Freed just found out how to keep him by his side.

"My apologies, Tony."

"Mr T to you. My business associates do not call me by my name," Tony corrected.

"Okay, I am sorry, Mr T. I would accept the fifty prevent. But for Anders to be offering this kind of deal, it means that the help you need is something very worthy, am I right?"

"I like your mind. Yes, it is."

At this point, Jade signalled for her, men that it was time and she stood up. Jake got the cue and quickly made his way to her with three other men.

Together all five of them made their way to the private boot of Mr Freed. But as soon as they got within three feet of where they were, the suited men stepped forward to block their passage.

"State your business."

No one spoke, rather Jake tilted his head to the sider and waited for his pother men to join them.

The suited men guarding Mr Freed found it weird and took three steps forward, carrying an imposing aura with them, hoping to instil fear in the hearts of their opponents but nothing changed.

When Jake was sure that their people were complete, he returned his attention to the souls that were about to go down and smiled at the first man that spoke.

By now their gathering had attracted the attention of the people in the bar as well as the two men who were busy discussing.

"What do they want?" Mr Freed called out from his seat.

The first man that questioned them wore a smug look on his face when he found out that his boss was now interested in the matter. It took some time but finally Jake pried his mouth open to answer them.

"To end this meeting of course."
