Just like that, things went on smoothly and Jade started seeing the progress in their joint business. 

Taking her advice, Xander tried his best in getting to know her rather than just claim her as his... Well in her presence he did not but when he was with his friend's he did. 

Meanwhile Macy had been angry at Jay and focused her attention on Sky whenever they met for business proposals and all as both parties were the ones in charge of the deal. 

Xander knew better than to have Jay be in charge as the latter was not as serious as Sky and secondly he was already a lovesick fool for Macy. 

This had obviously angered Jay who wanted to be closed to her and not let Sky be. 

"Tsk... Who are you deceiving? You are just doing this to punish me, Xan. I can handle this business as well." Jay turned his head towards Xander and snarled at him. 

Xander who had no interest in explaining this further to his friend, leaned back in his chair and his eyes darkened with a cold expression but the words that fell out where a complete contrast of what is facial expression portrayed. 

"I know you can, Jay. I know."

"Then why!"

"Because you know why."

"And what does that mean?"

"Don't tell me you even cannot use your brain to think as well. I am talking about Macy. You are not yourself when she is around and I can vouch that if you two handle this... Sigh your attention would be on her rather than work."

"That's not true. I can handle it perfectly," Jay defended. 

"Is that so?" Xander raised his brows at it friend and straightened up in his seat. "Okay fine. If you can focus with her around, why is it then that you had failed to speak to her till now."

"I have spoken to her."

"I do not mean the casual greetings of hello and good morning. Till now you still feel embarrassed to have a proper discussion with her."

"And whose fault is it again?" Jay cut in sharply. "Who made my situation like this?"

"I am afraid it is all you."

"You see." Jay threw his hands in the air in utter surrender. "I am in this mess because of you, Xan."

"No, you are in this mess because of yourself. I sent you on a simple errand but messed it up because you refused to stay focused."

"Whatever. Can't I admire a girl?"

"You have a problem," Xander stated as a matter of fact. 

"Just tell Sky to create some free time."

"if you like her, go for her. At least you can start by apologizing for running away that day and just explain things to her."

"She looks scary anytime she glares at ke when I look at her."

"Wow, never would I have thought that you would get scared because of a girl. Tsk."

"Xander!" Jay called out in a warning tone, watching as a small chuckle excaoed his lips. 

"Relax, besides she looks calmer and more easy to talk to than Quinn. My tigress just refuses to let me too close to her."

"Says who. I find Quinn easy to talk to. Macy doesn't look calm with that look. And then again, why wouldn't Quinn run from you when all you obviously do is kiss her anyway?"

Immediately the words left his mouth, Jay knew he had said more than he should and quickly clammed his lips shot while shooting an apologetic look at Xander. 

Xander was shocked about that because he knew he did not infor Jay about kissing Jade, so how then did he know that fact? 

He had told only one person about his encounter with Jade and that one person was none other than Sky. 

If Jay knows, that would only mean that Sky spilled the beans. 

"Interesting new piece of information. I was already getting bored. Now I wonder where that soul is?"

Jay gulped. Judging from his friend's words, that could only mean one thing. 

Sky was in for some punishment. 

"Hey, weren't you planning on telling me by the way?"

"No."

"Ouch, that hurts my feelings." Jay pretended to be hurt and clutched at his chest. 

"Knowing you, it would have been a disaster of laughter telling you and considering my mood, I would have sent you to meet her so she could take care of you for the night."

"Hey relax. It's all good. Won't you go see your tigress? It's Friday. You can take her out."

"Thanks for the advice but I think you need it more."

"Xander!" A wicked grin appeared on Xander's face as he ignored Jay's angered look and did a wrap up on the work in front of him then shut down the system and stood up. 

"Where to?"

"To go and become friends."

"Huh?"

~Jade's Office~

Jade tried her best to be on friendly terms with Xander who was giving it all he got to win her friendship. 

A lot of things had already happened that week and she had not had enough time to meet up with her friend and ask how far the plans were d r the business proposal. 

"Macy, I am sorry. Please send them to my mail let me preview them."

"It is okay. Now that you have officially taken office and I am to handle this deal, it is obvious all work would be on you now."

"Thanks dear."

"Nah," Macy smiled into the phone as though Jade could see her. "It would give me the opportunity to have some free time from work. At least my brain won't be scattered."

"Is it just that?" Jade asked, her tone increased in a tiny pitch. 

Without being told, Macy knew her friend was up to something. 

"Yes, why?"

"Or you are happy to be spending so much time with Sky." If Macy could see Jade, she would see how she arched her brows many times at the phone in a 'I know you,' manner.
