Anger, shock, rage, curiosity, confusion...

'Oh boy! Calm down Jade, calm down.'

Unfortunately for Jade, even though she was the heiress and many rich dudes flocked around her, she never had their time nor did any catch her fancy and so went her chances of having a boyfriend.

But the man that saved her thrice today, not only killed every other guy, actor, man and model in looks but in everything, so she thought.

How could he exude so much fierceness and tenderness at the same time?

He was something else and he didn't just manage to save her, something no man did, except when Arctic secretly protected her, but he also managed to steal her first kiss, leaving her completely dumbfounded.

At first she was angry and that was why she kneed him and scurried away, but then again thinking about it now... it gave her a completely different feeling.

She didn't want to say it but, she couldn't deny that it felt nice as well and she didn't feel repulsed from it.

"Okay Jade, get a grip of yourself. It was just a kiss. Time to inform Arctic about the situation first."

With her mind a little bit clear, Jade made her way forward, taking swift and precise steps towards her bedroom.

Once in, she kicked her shoes away and laid on her bed, shutting her eyes briefly to let her mind and heart calm down once more. By the time she was done, it had already been five minutes since she returned.

She finally sat up and brought out her phone from her back to make a call. Two rings in and Arctic picked the call.

"Boss, good evening." Arctic's clear voice rang out from the other end of the phone.

"Evening Arctic. I went there."

"You are one heck of a disobedient, stubborn lady. I thought I told you to stay away from that place?" Arctic half yelled at her, sounding unprofessional.

Right now he forgot about the fact that she was his boss and scolded her as her guardian instead.

When she had heard the conversation between those men and he called to inform him, he told her he would send someone to look into it and she should stay out of it and focus on her new life, he would handle the snooping and underground work.

Rather than obeying his advice, she, however, still went ahead to attend the party. What would he have done if something bad had happened to her? Her late father would never forgive him.

"Relax, it was just a little snooping I did, nothing more," Jade lied, her eyes rolling in their sockets at him.

"Just a little huh? What about when you were caught by those miscreants who wanted to have their way with you? How were you going to handle that, if the men chasing you had caught up with you? Oh let me guess, you can handle yourself."

His sarcastic voice rang through the phone again, bringing a fatherly warmth and anger with it.

Jade who was about to tell him she could handle them when the words were taken out of her mouth leaving her dumbfounded once more.

She wasn't shocked because he stole the words right out of her mouth, scratch that, anyone could very much guess that.

Rather, what made her stunned was how he knew all those things happened to her? Was he stalking her now? Not that it mattered much considering he did guard her in the shadows before but she was so sure she didn't notice anyone suspicious while at the party.

Even when she snuck up the stairs to find where the owners of the bar were and then eavesdropped on their conversation, till one of the bodyguards eventually climbed up the stairs and caught her, she still didn't see anyone suspicious.

Although then, she had quickly pretended she was just passing by, looking for the restroom when he called on her, but the man wasn't buying that. There was no restroom there except in the private rooms.

Seeing that her lie was found out, she seductively walked over to him, all the while swaying her waists to distract him and he fell for it.

By the time she was standing in front of him, she gently wrapped her arms around his neck, breathing warm tickling breaths on his ear and neck, enthralling him more.

By the time she was sure he was filled with lust, she raised her knee gently towards his groin, giving him soft strokes on his semi-hard dick, earning a small moan from him.

Jade smiled wickedly and lowered her leg a fraction, just when he was about to complain, she raised it back up but this time with more force and precision, hitting him hard on his dick.

At the same time, her hands on his neck moved back and she completely covered his mouth, preventing him from making a sound, then bent him over and elbowed him near his neck at his back, making him lose consciousness.

Just as she placed his body quietly on the ground, the door to the room she was eavesdropping on suddenly opened, and three men stepped out, catching her in her act.

"Guards, seize that woman!" the man screamed and Jade scurried away. That was how she ended up being chased by those men and landed in the den of hungry wolves.

Irrespective of all that happened, she was still sensitive to her surroundings and did not notice anyone following her, nor did he save her this time. So how then did he find out about what happened?

"How did you…"
