My Space-Time System Chapter 228

It was completely dark, Blake and Damon left the water barrier and under the cover of darkbringer, they began scouting all entrances.
At the entrance closest to them, the number of ants there had more than doubled just like Blake had predicted. Each trail that was moving out of the hive was nothing less than a hundred.
"Well, this entrance is known to have the highest traffic. So I think we should have better luck at the other entrances.' Damon said.
As the team was close to the second closest entrance to the water barrier, the system picked up the presence of other humans.
[A team of 6 has been detected some meters away from the hive entrance.] The system reported.
'So a team has finally discovered the hive. Let's check things out before I decide on what to do with them.' Blake thought as he checked out the situation at the hive's entrance.
"Their number isn't as much as the other entrance, but I still don't think we can handle it especially with our reduced number." Damon stated.
This entrance was meant to be the one with the least ants, but even at that, it was way past what they could handles.
"This leaves us with no other option." Blake said. "Before we move to the other entrance, let's check something out."
Without asking any question, Damon followed Blake to where the system had detected the team.
"What are we looking for exactly?" Damon asked when they reached the spot but couldn't see anything.
"There is a team camping underground…" Blake pointed out.
Damon heightened his senses, but he still wasn't able to sense find anything.
"So, what are you planning?" Because he couldn't sense them didn't mean they weren't there.
"Eliminate them of course…" Blake answered while thinking of his next move.

"Apart from team 1, we can solo any other team, but doing so here will attract a lot of trouble." Damon tried to warn Blake before matters got complicated.
"First, most of the students are idiots, and leaving them here means there is a chance they might alert the ants even more." Blake pointed out.
"Second, who said we had to get involved." Blake said with a spine-chilling grin.
"Sit back and watch." Blake left Damon and headed close to the hive entrance.
[You are despicable.] The system couldn't help but comment when he understood what Blake was going for.
'No mercy for competition.' Blake said as he began bringing out beast parts from his dimensional space and placing them on the floor.
He formed a trail of beast parts that led to the location of the underground shelter.
Once the first ant scout found the first beast part, it called back up to help it transport it back to the hive and that caused a chain reaction.
After a few minutes of waiting, Damon saw Blake began making a circle around the shelter.
'Diabolical!' When Damon figured out what Blake was planning, he was very happy he was on the same team as him.

Soon the sound of a marching army of ants being led by a knight-rank ant was heard.
The ants began circling the area but that was when the knight-rank ants screeched and pointed at the area the team was hiding underground.
Under the command of the knight-rank ant, the ants left the bait and began digging.
Seeing they had been discovered, Blake and Damon watched how the team forced their way out of the underground shelter.
'A bowl of popcorn would have great, but this will do.' Now under the cover of darkbringer, Blake began eating a roasted chicken drumstick as they watched the event unfold.

'He is sometimes crazy, but I have to say it gets the job done.' Damon couldn't help but stare at Blake who seemed to enjoy every moment.
10 minutes later, the team had managed to kill over 20 ants, but they were soon overwhelmed by the ants and were teleported back to the magic school.
"A few beasts for an interesting show, that was worth." Blake as the last person was teleported.
They moved to the 3rd entrance and the population of ants was greater than the previous entrance. On their way to the 4th entrance, the system detected another team.
This time, the team was had Owen and they weren't as foolish as the previous team to stay underground.
Damon had no idea how Blake was able to sense so far out, but that wasn't important at the moment. "What are you going to do about it?"
The more teams that were in the area meant the possibility of being ambushed at critical moments and making things harder for everyone if they ended up committing a blunder.
"We can't eliminate them with the ants because they can easily escape using the trees." Blake observed as the gears in his mind began spinning.
After some minutes, there was only one option still in his head, and that was dealing with them personally.
"We have no other option than to take care of them ourselves, but before we do that let's scout the environment." Blake said.
When the duo arrived at the entrance, they found nothing different from the rest, but that was when another report came from the system.
[Another team has been detected 300 meters away.]
'What the fuck!' Blake furrowed his brows on hearing the news.
'I knew we would soon encounter other teams, but 3 is a whole lot.' Blake thought.
[After how your points skyrocketed it will be easy for people to figure out that you found a hive and would want a piece of it.
But it is quite suspicious that many of them are here at the same time. It is as if they were all given a map at the same time.] The system said.
'Yeah, it is quite suspicious, but there is nothing we can do about it.' Blake agreed.
From the day they discovered the hive, Blake always scouted the entire area to make sure they had no unknown guests that could ruin their plans.
But out of nowhere, 3 teams had appeared at the same time.

Rise of a Scarlet Devil (Regular+Draft Version)
A young girl slain during a war was brought back to life by some unknown force millennia later. She could only remember a vague face within her memories, uncertain as to who it was but there was one thing she did know. She needed to kill that person. But she was too weak, she needed to hide, to grow. She needed to flee from the battlefield her enemy reigns over. And to do so, she needed to run eastward, towards Helios, a safe haven for those who have lost their homes in the war. And where she would grow to become the strongest Hunter under her own strength. What was it that brought her back? Only time will tell. #Author's Note The novel is organized like this:Regular Chapters (Act, Title, Part (ranging from 1 to 9))Draft Chapter DisclaimerDraft Chapters (Entry Number, Perspective, Title, Part (ranging from i to ii)) Regular chapters are edited chapters that reflect the story aspect more while Draft chapters reflect plot progression more. An occasional interactive chapter will appear in the drafts but nowhere in the regular chapters. Expect changes when reading between Regular and Draft chapters as some events in the story may change in length or entirely removed/changed. Only read the draft version if you want a future view and/or opinion on the story and design elements. The main character is a human from a fantasy world reincarnated as a devil. The story possesses Reincarnators, Transmigrators, and Summoned Persons. though mainly focusing on Magic and other abilities such as Aura and Skills. Wizards (those who prepare arcane spells) and Mages (those who use elemental magic) are separate but seen as the same by common inhabitants of the world but clearly defined as different by more influential persons and by the circles themselves. The main character WILL not be a Mage or Wizard but will incorporate mana into her attacks to aid her as does any high-rank combatants. The system in the novel quantifies a person's abilities and keeps record of them but does not define natural ability, occasionally granting special abilities as skills to a person once prerequisites are met. There is no leveling system and no occupational systems in the novel featuring only a stat based and skill based system. Also, this novel is my first and will most likely be trash.
