My Space-Time System Chapter 169

Immediately the golems appeared, they began charging their energy beams in other to quickly eliminate the problem before the facility took serious damage.
Seeing this, Zirrack stood in the same spot as he uttered a single word.
"Erupt."
Immediately he made the angelic pronouncement, the lava in the crater began bubbling as the instantly erupted, blocking both the sight and heat vision of the PAC-X bots.
By only looking at the golden brown metal, Zirrack knew the lava wouldn't have much of an effect on the golem.
Using the cover of the lava, he quickly dodged the incoming energy beams and appeared behind one of the golems and gave it a fiery punch so hot that it melted the adamant alloy giving him one-way access to the core.
'Well that was disappointing…' Zirrack thought as he clenched his fist, causing the golem's core to explode.
After everything he had seen so far, Zirrack had thought that it would have been at least a king tier beast, but seeing how easy it was for him to take down one, he was quite disappointed.
'Seems like there will be no fun. Time to save the kids.' At this time the lava had already dropped back into the crater, but Zirrack had already moved away from the spot.
He had used the eruption as a way to safely measure the enemy's power level, but he was done it was time to end this quickly.
He dashed towards the next golem while easily dodging energy beams flying towards him from all angles.
Combustion cannon!
He appeared behind the golem and suddenly a powerful compressed fire beam shot through its core and everything in its way, destroying 2 golems.
Not wasting even a second, Zirrack was already at his next target, and with a single punch he blew out its core.

BOOM! BOOM!
Zirrack was moving so fast that if Blake was here, not only would he have been unable to get a glimpse of him, but the multiple explosions occurring simultaneously would make it look like he was everywhere at the same time.
[Analysis in progress.] As Zirrack was mowing down the number of PAC-X bots, the facility's core was analyzing his strength and weakness.
[Activating core Supercharger.] After the analysis, the facility's core had come to a single conclusion.
The only way to defeat Zirrack was to increase the capabilities of the PAC-X bots and not by numbers.
'Huh?' As Zirrack was weaving through waves of energy beams, he noticed how the energy levels of the golems were rising.
'Are they trying to commit suicide?' Zirrack couldn't help but scoff, because nothing related to fire even in the Angelic realm could hurt him.
(AN: lol, Zirrack is so hot that lava feels cold to him ;)
Unknown to him the increase in energy level meant that the golems were sacrificing their core life for increased reflex and processing speed.
'How many are these things?' Zirrack thought as he squashed a golem's head before blowing out it's core.
At first, he had thought that he could keep killing the golems regardless of their numbers, but after the supercharger was activated he began noticing it was becoming more difficult.
With their increased processing speed and the help of the hive mind, the golems had begun learning and were now protecting each other by predicting Zirrack's moves.
Although Zirrack was still too fast for them, he had a feeling that if things continued like this he would be in a bad position.
"Enough!" Zirrack shouted in anger, as a wave of fire erupted from him, quaking the entire facility and pining all the golems to the walls of the crater.

"Stand still and melt!" Making an angelic pronouncement, the mechanical golems found it hard to move as the temperature in the crater began reaching hellish heights.
(AN: You might be asking why he didn't do that from the beginning. Well, it's complicated and will be explained in the future.)
"Now let's get this over with." Zirrack took out the adventurer communication orb and activated its jamming function.
Another set of PAC-X bots were deployed, but this time the spatial corridor from the teleportation array didn't close and this was Zirrack's queue.
The moment the golems appeared, the effects of the pronouncement were still strong in the array, causing them to stay in a fixed position and melt, leaving Zirrack free to jump into the corridor.
…
"Was the intruder captured?" Blake couldn't help but think of such a possibility when he noticed the quakes had stopped.
This wasn't a piece of good news at all because if the greater problem was dealt with, then they would be next on the list.
"Fuck me sideways!"
When the group had finally reached the teleportation array they saw swarms of spider bots coming out from the other corridors.
"Even if we can make it into the array, we will be captured before activating it." Brian warned them when he saw the insane number of SPI-X coming at them.
'Alright guys, just like before.' Ignoring the negative comment, Blake threw a void dagger towards the array.
Luckily for them, the facility's core was concentrated on the fight at the surface. If not it would have easily countered the trick since it had seen it before.
Void shift!
With the aid of mind boost, Blake opened a spatial corridor long enough for the 3 of them to get through and appear at the array.
Immediately, Blake began activating the journal, the spider bots were already on him.
Earth eruption!
4 earth walls erupted from the ground, blocking the array from all sides, but before they were fully up, compressed fire beams destroyed the walls.
"Fuck!"
Seeing how the walls were easily destroyed, they knew this was the end of the road for them because more than 100 spider bots were aiming at them.
*QUAKE*
Out of nowhere, the entire facility experienced a quake that almost made the trio lose their balance, but at the same time, something shocking happened.

Adventurer Book II - Dawn of an Empire Short story prequel- The Lurking Lair: An Adventuer Series Short Story Summary for the LitRPG savvy reader: Looking for a LitRPG that is more tabletop traditional role playing game and less MMORPG? This is probably your cup of tea. Long term progression with a heavy slice of life element. Strong mix and inclusion of ancient Greek life, values, and myths. Hence, the world can be a bit more harsh and brutish than modern sensibilities. The system is tangible and knowable beyond the MC's insights. The MC is more of an everyman than someone specifically chosen for the experience. Author's Note: This is my debut novel. Up until this point, the only thing I have written of comparable length has been non-fiction and related to history. I am immensely grateful to all the folks who have given me feedback and helped me improve my writing.

Taverns edge - A mercenary's guide to Ley Line traveling
The taverns edge is a fiction that centers around a pair of unusual friends. A mercenary that happens to be a princess of fae, but prefers to stay in a well-known établissement instead of staying in the Sidhe. Moira. Being half a dragon doesn't really help getting along with snobbish elitists at her mother's court. Like all sidhe she likes to strike a good deal... Which has led into many a disaster... Though she always tends to get by, especially when she gets home to the Tavern on the edge. The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret... Now add to the mix a totally clueless elven girl - a mortal, not a fae- on the run. Lunara. She has unknowingly struck a deal with the devil - quite literally. Now unable to handle the consequences on her own she enters the tavern on the edge. An epicenter for magic and the only place where she might find help. She talks Moira into helping her out. A race against time begins as the deal's symbols appear on Lunara's skin. The journey leads to the dwarven empire, the sidhe and wherever the crossing leylines under the tavern may lead. This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh. This story is an adaption of an idea, that we, a friend of mine and me, have developed over a few months while taking a break from learning. Some parts were written by Emberspark. Thank you for allowing me to work with your ideas and letting me publish this as a whole. Updates... I will try to frequently update both of my fictions... Well in case you are interested I post it on Scribble hub, too. I really don't steal from myself 😂

Patchwork System
Notification (cannot be ignored): For being the first being to kill another of its own species after Sublimation, Lyam Aldren is awarded the Title of Cain’s Successor. Let all fear the Kinslayer!!! Lyam Aldren, killer for hire, was just going about his business when he suddenly received a notification from something called the System. Apparently, the entirety of Earth, its denizens and its matter were transported into the world of the System, planted in 'patches' all throughout the infinite world. The world of the Patchwork System is one of challenges, where life is cheap, power is king, and Classes and levels are a thing. In a brutal world, there is perhaps room for a killer with bloodstained hands to find his own way, free of his past. However, his Title and his inherent nature plague him, his fragmented personality laid bare to those with the eyes to see, and if he doesn't become powerful enough to defeat or escape those who would use or destroy him, he will quickly be devoured by the merciless world created by the System. Compared to my previous work, this is a more 'classic' litrpg setup, with clear (if somewhat complex) progression through levels and skill gains, with a 'system apocalypse' setup. Unlike most system apocalypse story protagonists, Lyam is neither a leader nor is he particularly interested in saving his fellow Earthlings. This is a story of a man who is both endangered and set free by the destruction of his old world, as he finds both power, new discoveries, and adventure in a place where his past matters not at all and power is the only language most speak. Later in the story, there will be harem elements, but the first volume is dedicated to Lyam's first months in the System. For those who are more interested in the Heirs of the Hooded King, I am putting it on hiatus as I rework the setting and future story developments a bit.
