Xian came out of the washroom after freshening up. He was wearing a white t-shirt and a black track pants. He went to the bed and rested his back on the pillows, his head against the hover board. Mishi came there with a tray in her hand in which a bowl with fruit salad was placed.

"Here," Mishi handed the bowl to Xian and put the tray on the bedside table. Xian pulled her down, grabbing her rest such that Mishi's back hit against his chest. With a fork he picked up the papaya and fed Mishi. "You shall it. I am full," Mishi said as she stopped Xian.

"Take first bite then I will feel happy," Xian told Mishi who nodded and took the papaya piece in her mouth. Xian too started eating while his one hand rested on Mishi's belly.

"What is the important thing you want to talk about?" Xian asked as he ate the papaya.

"Mark told me about your father," Mishi asserted and turned back to look at Xian who had a blank expression on her face. "I told him not to make you worry by telling this," Xian muttered.

"Didn't we two agree that we will share everything with each other? Why are talking this way now?" Mishi questioned.

"Yes, we agreed and I do share everything with you but I do not want to worry you out," Xian opined. Mishi chuckled, "I am already worried. I will be more worried if you will hide things in your heart instead of sharing it with me. You always solve my problems so, let me solve it for you and heal that side of your heart which wounded in the childhood," Mishi proclaimed.

Mishi's hand were on Xian's face and eyes were fixated on him, wanting to get the assurance from him. "Lan Zhan told me that my father told lies years ago to us. I might have been taken other meanings of the fights as I was a child and interpreted in the other way. I shall look at my mother who has longed for her husband for a long time but because of me she is unable to do anything," Xian explained to Mishi.

Mishi felt the pain in the voice of Xian while saying all this. "I do not believe him. In fact, I do not want to believe anyone. I do not believe that the things that man was told to me when I was a child were lies. Mishi, you tell me what shall I do? Am I the one because of whom my mother isn't happy? Shall I bring her husband back in her life but I am afraid if I would be able to live in front of them as happily as I am now," Xian told his worries to Mishi.

Mishi took Xian's hands in hers. "Do you believe me?" She asked.

"More than myself," Xian replied.

"Then, I think you shall talk with your father. I know as a child you suffered a lot but you cannot live like this. Do you know when I for the first time met your father, what I found?" Mishi asked Xian who shook his head in refusal.

"He was mistakenly hit by my car so, after taking him to the hospital, I dropped him home as well. He lives in miserable condition and he hardly has money for the survival. He did not know that time that I am your wife so he told me when I asked him about his family. He said his son and wife are living happily but, because of his faults he is living that way," Mishi told Xian.

"Xian, I met him a few days ago as well. I do not know why does he push you away. But after that truth came out, I think it might be because of Lee Shan Bin. Do you not think so? Look, doing nothing will not do any good so according to we shall find the solution to turn the things right. You see, if truth regarding your father and toot childhood will not come out, it is going to affect you even more."

Mishi looked for an answer in Xian's eyes who seemed confused to her. Xian flinched his brows and spoke, "Mishi, I still remember that night when he told me that I should have died. For a second I think that there might be some injustice and I shall step forward to end that but then that memory does not leave me. It haunts me out. Why my own father directed such a harsh statement towards me- I only think that," Xian proclaimed.

Mishi's eyes filled with tears. "You are hurting yourself again by not finding the solution for it. Even my uncle directed some harsh towards me and my siblings when we lost our parents but that was because of someone's pressure. What if same thing happened with your father? Lee Shan Bin might have blackmailed him for many things and he might have frustrated by that," stated Mishi.

Xian closed his eyes and after a while opened them up. "I understood. I will meet him tomorrow but if he will not tell me the truth, I won't ever again going to see him even if I have to separate my ways from mom," Xian adamantly said.

"That won't happen. He will definitely listen to you," Mishi assured Xian.

"I hope so. Okay, enough of this conversation. Lan Zhan is going to marry so, I am thinking of giving a surprise to him and Mei Fen. What shall we do for them?" Xian asked Mishi as he embraced her and rested his head on her shoulder.

"I do not know. Something unique we shall do for them…. A simple house party will be good. Yuwan and Xia will come as well," Mishi suggested.

"Hmm. I will think about the party idea then but before that I need to solve many things," Xian proclaimed. Mishi agreed to him and caressed his hair.
