Everyone was shocked to hear that. Lan Zhan had his hand on his cheek as he saw Mei Fen walking away. He dragged himself ahead and ran after her. Outside the restaurant, Mei Fen was getting into the car when Lan Zhan grabbed her wrist, thus stopped him.

"Forgive me… no don't… slap me once more," Lan Zhan stated, his eyes were unable to met Mei Fen. "I should not have lied to you," asserted Lan Zhan.

"I don't give second chance. Leave my hand if you don't people to see us fighting on the road," Mei Fen stated in a commanding tone.

Lan Zhan's eyes turned teary. "M-Mei Fen, don't. After two years, I got chance to be with you. I know I made a mistake by lying to you. We had a date and I thought that you were busy in work so, I decided to come here. Don't go away like this," Lan Zhan asserted.

"I am not in a mood to talk. Let my hand go," Mei Fen again stressed her words. Lan Zhan released his grip from Mei Fen's hand, who got into the car and drove away. Lan Zhan ran his fingers through his hair when his colleagues came outside the restaurant.

"Did she break up with you?" Simon asked, handing the phone which Lan Zhan left in the restaurant.

"She is so sensitive. I wonder why are you after her! No one wants such a woman in his life," Zho Wuhao, another colleague of Lan Zhan opined.

"Don't say anything about her. It was my fault," Lan Zhan stated.

"Lan Zhan, you can get hundreds of women. Why are you still after that woman who always orders you around. You also have the right to enjoy your life. I don't like such types of women who just dominate the men and then leave them," Zho Wuhao proclaimed.

"Will you shut up? I love to be dominated by her. I love that she orders me. You should not have any problem with this," Lan Zhan blurted out at him. Chou Xu told Zho Wuhao to go home and told the two not to start any argument.

Lan Zhan went inside the restaurant, paid the bills and then drove to Mei Fen's house.

"What are you thinking?" Xian asked Lan Zhan which brought him out of his thoughts.

"I was thinking about that day when she almost broke up with me. I felt like something precious had been walked away from my life that day," Lan Zhan pronounced with sad eyes.

"Then, what did you do?" Mishi asked.

"I stood the entire night in front of her house gate," Lan Zhan replied.

"That was winter times," stated Lau Lan. "So, you can imagine how did he endure that night. I salute Lan Zhan for this. I mean if I would be at his place, I would have gone home and let the things get cool down from the both ends," Lau Lan opined.

"What would you have done Xian if we two had such a fight?" Mishi asked, turning her head to him.

"I would have entered the house by hook or crook," Xian answered. Everyone laughed upon hearing the answer while Lan Zhan again fell into that memory.

In the morning when Mei Fen came outside the house gate to jog, she saw Lan Zhan was sitting there with a pale face and his eyes were closed. She panicked and bent in her knees.

"Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan," Mei Fen called out his name while patting his cheeks. Gradually he opened his eyes and said, "Sorry for lying to you. I-I really love you. Don't go away like this." Mei Fen's got teary. She pulled him up and took him inside the house.

Making him lay down on the bed she put the blanket over him. "You got a fever. Are you nuts? There was so much cold last night," Mei Fen scolded Lan Zhan who smiled at her.

"I rang the doorbell but you didn't open the lock. You were angry so, I needed to stay outside," Lan Zhan replied.

"Why are you like this? Do you not think I am too much to handle? I was angry at you so, you should have returned back instead of standing there. What if something would have happened to you?" Mei Fen asked as her voice broke down.

"I am made of steel. Did you forgive me?" Lan Zhan asked.

"Don't joke. Do you not despise me for not taking care of you and acting bossy?" Mei Fen queried Lan Zhan as she stroked his hair.

"You are not like other woman that what I like the most. I need a bossy woman for me. I don't know I feel your love even in your scolding. I cannot enjoy my life without you," stated Lan Zhan.

"I was just angry. Forgive me too for acting that way," Mei Fen asserted and kissed Lan Zhan's lips. A smile carved on his lips and he closed his eyes. "Now, I can peacefully rest," Lan Zhan stated with a smile on his lips.

He came out of his thoughts and lifted his head up. "I am feeling so good," Lan Zhan muttered and smiled. "I am marrying the woman I always dreamt of," Lan Zhan giggled saying that.

"Only Lau Lan left among us then as a single man," Mark stated.

"We are already married. I mean, not officially but my heart. I am far opposite than you three," Lau Lan asserted.

"We know how opposite you are from us! When you girlfriend comes you become an obedient guy," Lan Zhan said and laughed along with others.

"Wait, wait, wait. Now, we are on this so, we need to check who is the most romantic guy among four of us," Lan Zhan excitedly told them.

"Well, I think Lan Zhan," Mishi replied first.

"What? Mishi, you should have taken my name. I am the most romantic person here," Xian complained. They all started laughing, looking at Xian.

"Yuwan is also a very romantic person," Mishi then said and looked at Xian who was glaring at her. She was giving him a teasing smile.

"Xian, your lost to me and Yuwan," Lan Zhan proclaimed and laughed along with Mark.
