"Brothers? How? I mean…" Xian was dumbfounded to hear that. Mishi was also startled by this sudden statement of Biyu.

"He is your cousin brother. Zhao's mother is my sister. Years ago we separated our paths because of some misunderstandings between us and she broke the ties from our family. I had never thought that she would marry Lee Shan Bin and would turn like this," Biyu said. Frowns were clear on her forehead, showing how much worried she was for her sister.

"Mom, please explain me everything," Xian asserted. Mishi agreed with Xian.

"Let Lan Zhan come then I will tell everyone," Biyu asserted.

"I am here, Mom. What do you want to tell?" Lan Zhan asked cheerfully as he sat beside Biyu.

"I am calling the others," Mishi asserted. Lan Zhan put his around her mother's shoulder. "Mom, I proposed Mei Fen for the marriage and she has agreed for it. I can't believe she will soon be my wife," stated Lan Zhan as she side hugged Biyu.

"Congrats, finally you two are marrying," Xian said with a smile.

Biyu caressed Lan Zhan's hair. Lau Lan, Mark, Yin and Mishi came there. "Why is everyone so cheerful? Lan Zhan, why are you clinging to mom?" Lau Lan asked.

"Mei Fen and he decided to marry," Xian stated. Mark sat beside Lan Zhan. "Mei Fen agreed finally. How many times did you propose to her?" Mark queried him.

"Five times. I am so happy," Lan Zhan said as she pulled away from Biyu. Lau Lan, Mishi and Yin had also seated on the sofa.

"Tell us about your love story," Lau Lan said excitedly.

"You all know about it," Lan Zhan said as a faint red color appeared on his cheeks.

"Why are you blushing!?" Xian said in a teasing tone. They all laughed in unison when Lan Zhan told them that he would tell them again.

"Mei Fen is my senior so, when I joined the department as a newbie officer, she was my team leader. To tell you the truth, she is very strict woman… no one can escape her anger and she is very serious regarding her work that was the first thing which attracted me towards her. Then, once she saved me from the gunshot and that was the first time my heart fell for her," Lan Zhan briefly told them.

"Your love story is so sweet," Mishi stated.

"Yours is sweeter," Lan Zhan told Mishi which brought a smile to her lips.

"You did not tell her how scared you were of her," Mark asserted.

"Yeah, she is very strict boss so I was a bit hesitant and scared to express my feelings. But then, we were on a team dinner. I drank too much that day and I blurted out my confession which I do not even remember," Lan Zhan pronounced and laughed.

"The next day he was confused as Mei Fen was not even looking at him and threw a load of works at him when his colleague told him how did he confess to Mei Fen which angered her out," Lau Lan proclaimed.

"Because I forgot about the confession," Lan Zhan corrected Lau Lan. "Then, I apologized to her and she rejected me. I got 10 rejections from her but I did not give up on her," he further added.

"Yeah, Mei Fen was not that easy to be taken. The first time you told me about her, shivers ran down my spine because Simon who is your colleague in station had told me about her," stated Mark.

Lan Zhan moved his hands in air. "It is her charm, her aura which separates her out from the every woman in this world," declared Lan Zhan proudly.

"When did she accept your love?" Mishi asked curiously.

"After two years," replied Lan Zhan, giving a tiny smile to Mishi. "She even changed her department because at one time she felt uncomfortable around me," asserted Lan Zhan. Mark patted his shoulder.

"But then she started missing him and one day she asked him out not as for date but for work- in short that work was their first date," Lau Lan proclaimed.

"Yeah. It was a criminal case and luckily it was handed to me. Mei Fen was the in charge of the case and she could not avoid me. We worked for it and during that period she found me that I am the man for her." Lan Zhan was smiling and at the same time his eyes turned teary, recalling all that. Biyu caressed Lan Zhan's hair.

"And, she accepted your heart. That is my Lan Zhan's love story," Biyu said as she made his head rest on her shoulder.

"You did not give up on your love and that's the most beautiful thing about your relationship. Not only that, you respect her a lot which is sweetest thing about your love for her," Mishi proclaimed.

"Yes. She is my senior and the one who I am now is all because of her. I learnt many things from her," stated Lan Zhan and smiled.

"Then one day he was drinking with his colleagues and he lied to Mei Fen who got to know about that from a junior. She slapped him in front of everyone in that restaurant," Xian said and started laughing.

"You enjoyed that moment more than me- it seems," Lan Zhan with sarcasm said. Xian smiled while Lan Zhan recalled that memory.

"Lan Zhan, let's drink today together. Tomorrow is weekend," said one of his colleagues and he agreed to that easily.

"Senior will get angry. Do you not have to go out with her?" Chou Xu asked.

"She did not reply so, I guess she is busy. We all can go out and enjoy," Lan Zhan told to the ten of his colleagues and left the police station.

In the restaurant, Lan Zhan's colleague were shouting 'Once more, once more' for him. He grabbed the glass and emptied it. Everyone clapped for him when a voice trembled them in fear.

"Mei Fen," Lan Zhan murmured and went near her. He was smiling when a slap was thrown at his face. "Enjoy your life," saying this Mei Fen walked away.
