Gan Dewei entered the password on the door when Ru Shi asked him how did he find the password. "I saw in the morning," Gan Dewei replied and entered in. Ru Shi walked behind him. "It is wrong. You have to forget it," Ru Shi stated.

"Change it," Gan Dewei told her as he put off his shoes. Ru Shi followed him when Gan Dewei turned to her and pulled her closer by grabbing her wrist. He put down the soft toy he was holding from the other hand and placed that hand on her nape.

"What are you doing?" Ru Shi asked him.

"Getting my kiss from you. You kissed the soft toy instead of me," Gan Dewei stated and sealed her lips with a kiss, not letting Ru Shi speak. Pulling away he caressed her cheek with his thumb.

"Now, you are jealous of a toy? It is cute so, I ended up giving it a kiss," Ru Shi stated. Gan Dewei again captured her lips. He took her towards the tiny sofa and made her sit on it, never letting her lips go. Ru Shi was equally reciprocating to his kisses when Gan Dewei parted from her lips. They both were breathing heavily.

"Go freshen up," Gan Dewei said in a commanding tone. Ru Shi nodded and went to her room. Gan Dewei removed his coat and then sat on the couch. Taking out his phone, he called Chang who answered his calls after a few rings.

"How are you?" Gan Dewei asked.

"I'm good," replied Chang. "What about you?" Chang queried him.

"Thanks to you, I am also doing good," Gan Dewei answered.

"Why this sudden change in tone? Earlier you were so rude to me," Chang stated and gave a sheepish smile.

"Because I had no trust on you. For many years, no one could bring his truth upfront but you did," Gan Dewei asserted and faintly smiled.

"What about your family? Are they good to you now?" Chang questioned him.

"Dad apologized to me as he never trusted son. I am happy that he stood for me in the station. We two had a fated encounter," Gan Dewei told Chang which made him laugh.

"Indeed it was one fated encounter. So, what will you do from now on? You wasted years in serving Lee Shan Bin. What is your plan ahead?" Chang asked.

"I am thinking of starting a small restaurant with my own money. I will do some part times and then save money to start the restaurant. I have to take care of Ru Shi as well. She must complete her studies without hindrance and I don't want her to work anymore," pronounced Gan Dewei.

"Good thought. Your father might help you. I don't think he will let you do part times. Accept whatever he told you to do. He wants your happiness as well," asserted Chang.

"I will see. I do not want father to do things for me," Gan Dewei told him.

"Hmm. I won't say anything as it is your choice. I can simply advise you. You have to take care of Ru Shi as well and it is not clear whether you will be punished or not since you were associated with all this. So, think carefully before taking any step. It is not only about your future but Ru Shi's future as well." Chang explained to Gan Dewei.

"You are really acting like a big brother of her. I will handle. Don't worry and thank you for the advice," stated Gan Dewei.

"Why are you getting furious. You have a short temper. I don't think people are going to hire you at this rate," stated Chang.

"I know how to control my anger. Aish, you ruined my mood. I am hanging up," Gan Dewei said and cut the call. Chang laughed and put down the phone. He then dialed the number of Zhao Bin but Zhao did not answer his call.

Zhao was awaken when he saw Zhu Rui was had her head on the bed and was seated on the floor. She was sleeping and her one hand was around Zhao's. "She could have sit on the chair," murmured Zhao and felt the wet soaked towel on his forehead. Putting it aside of his forehead, he sat on the bed.

Zhu Rui felt the jerk which broke her sleep. "Zhao," she whispered and lifted her head to look at Zhao. To her surprise, he was already awaken. "I just woke up," replied Zhao seeing the inquisitiveness on Zhu Rui's face.

Zhu Rui stood up and then placed her hand on Zhao's forehead. "How are you feeling? You were burning earlier," Zhu Rui stated.

"Fever is reduced. You bought the medicines?" Zhao asked her.

"I called my friend who is a doctor. Because of this wound" pointing towards the injury on Zhao's forehead, Zhu Rui said, "Your temperature raised and you got the fever."

"Where is uncle?" Zhao asked.

"He is in the kitchen. Wait, let's check your temperature," Zhu Rui asserted and picked the digital thermometer. She put it near his ear and measured the temperature. Reading it she spoke, "It is reduced. Thank God."

"Zhu, I am feeling sweaty and it is kind of disgusting. I am taking a bath," Zhao said as he removed the blanket.

"Are you nuts? Fever has not gone. Take a bath tomorrow but not now," Zhu Rui said sternly. "Wait, I am giving you the clothes," Zhu Rui stated as she went to the cupboard.

"You have set the cupboard?" Zhao asked her.

"Yes."

"But I told you not to carry those clothes," stated Zhao.

"Those clothes are purchased by me. Don't worry," Zhu Rui said as she took out a t-shirt and track pants for him. Closing the cupboard, she came to Zhao and handed him the clothes.

"Change into this," Zhu Rui said. Zhao gave a nod and got down the bed. "Thank you for taking care of me. I felt good," Zhao said as he placed his hand over Zhu Rui's head because of which her heart fluttered a little.
