Soaking the cotton towel in the water, Zhu Rui squeezed it. When water was drenched out from it, she put it over Zhao's forehead who was already fallen to sleep. She continued doing that till an hour. Putting the soaked towel inside the bowl, Zhu Rui turned to Zhao and grabbed his one hand in hers.

She kept caressing it while looking at Zhao's pale face. "Why are you suffering alone again? What must I do to make you happy?" Zhu Rui mumbled.

She kept staring at him and ended up dozing off on the chair. An hour later, her sleep broke and she checked Zhao's temperature. "Goodness, it dropped," Zhu Rui told herself, looking at the thermometer. She stood up from the chair and went to the kitchen with the bowl in her hand.

In the kitchen, she saw Xiao Long had set everything already. He was just doing dusting when he saw Zhu Rui there. "How is Zhao? Is his fever dropped?" Xiao Long asked Zhu Rui.

"Yes. A little bit. You have already set the kitchen. You must take rest, Uncle. You have already done so much work," Zhu Rui stated.

"I did not do any work. I went to the police station earlier in the morning. Zhao's father is going to be punished and it is a death punishment while his mother has received life imprisonment. He is disturbed because of all this. He hardly tells people about his worries so, you need to take care of him," Xiao Long stated as he put the dusting cloth beside the washbasin.

Xiao Long took the bowl from Zhu Rui and filled it with water. "Uncle, even I don't know how to make him talk with me at least on these matters. I know he is hurt inside," Zhu Rui stated. Xiao Long closed the tap and handed the water bowl to Zhu Rui.

"Zhao is like a flower who never bloomed. I have seen him since childhood days. He is kind and has a strong will to do things on his own but you see his father- mother always told him not to do things which he wanted. That's why he left home. It was not because of Mishi but because of their controlling nature over the boy.

Outside the home, he started seeing his world in Mishi and her siblings. But his father never wanted him to be with Mishi. He returned home as Mishi married Xian. But then things change drastically. His desires, his wishes were buried deep inside his heart. He was told not to do this, not to do that.

Don't think that he isn't opening his heart. It is all happened but now you are his wife so, you have the power to heal his wounded heart. Once Zhao will bloom, trust me, he is going to cherish you. Just don't lose faith on your love," asserted Xiao Long.

Zhu Rui nodded and thanked Xiao Long for encouraging her. She then left the kitchen and went to the room, again started looking after Zhao.

"Your 5 minutes means 20 minutes?" Gan Dewei asked Ru Shi.

"No. Rush came and next worker could not come in time so I continued my shift," Ru Shi stated as she fastened the seat belt around her.

"Did he pay you more then?" Gan Dewei asked her.

"Who?" Ru Shi asked.

"Your boss. Since you worked 15 minutes more," stated Gan Dewei. Ru Shi laughed. "I did not take for extra minutes. My boss is really nice to me. He even gave me advance a few days back and I paid my college fees," Stated Ru Shi, smiling.

"Why are you smiling so brightly after talking about your boss? I don't like when you praise the other man," pronounced Gan Dewei.

"Can't I even smile? Are you jealous of my boss? He does not even know you," muttered Ru Shi, making a pouted face.

"Yes, I am jealous. Won't you be jealous if I talk about other woman in front of you? No, right?" Gan Dewei asked her.

"I am not a kid. Why would I be jealous?" Ru Shi queried him.

Gan Dewei snickered. Using his two fingers, he grabbed Ru Shi's chin gently and made her look at him. "Yes, I am a kid for you. I will act childish and get jealous if my girlfriend will talk about other men and praise them. Next time you will talk about your boss in front of me, and I am going to punish you," Gan Dewei replied her.

"Okay. Okay. I understand that I must not talk about my boss in front of you. Shall we leave then?" Ru Shi asked him. Gan Dewei hummed. "But before leaving, let me give you a-"

"No," Ru Shi cut his words in the middle. "I don't want a kiss," Ru Shi stated.

"Who said I am going to kiss you?" Gan Dewei asked her.

"Then?" Ru Shi asked him curiously.

"I am going to give you something. Now, I will give once we will be in your home," stated Gan Dewei and released his grip from her chin. He started the engine and drove to Ru Shi's house.

As they reached home, Ru Shi stepped out of the car when she saw Gan Dewei did the same. "Why are you stepping down?" Ru Shi asked.

"Your gift is inside the car stag. I have to take it out," Gan Dewei told her. Ru Shi nodded while Dewei went to the car stag. He brought out a giant panda soft toy and handed that to Ru Shi. "I heard from one of my friends that girls like such kind of gifts," stated Gan Dewei.

Ru Shi smiled at him when Dewei handed her the panda. "Ahh, it's heavy," Ru Shi said and then kissed at it. "It's so cute," Ru Shi muttered and hugged it tightly when Gan Dewei snatched it which startled Ru Shi.

"What happened?" Ru Shi asked confusedly when Gan Dewei walked inside the gate without answering her. Ru Shi ran after him.
