Zhu Rui looked around the house. It was a two bedroom set apartment in which Zhao used to live earlier when he left his home. "Uncle Long, choose any one room for yourself," Zhao told Xiao Long.

Xiao Long gave a nod and went to the room left to the tiny kitchen. "Luckily, that time I bought this tiny house with my own hard earned money so, we do not need to pay rent except electricity and water bills," Zhao told them. "It is not big like our earlier house but-"

"-but it is beautiful," Zhu Rui completed Zhao's words.

"I am going out to bring kitchen utilities for us," Xiao Long stated.

"Uncle, I will go later. You don't need to trouble yourself," Zhao told him. Xiao Long gave a faint smile to Zhao. "You are tired so, you should take rest. Moreover, I have a friend's shop in this locality. I will meet him too this way," asserted Xiao Long. Zhao nodded and told him to come early.

Xiao Long nodded and left the house. Zhao went to the room, right to the kitchen. Zhu Rui followed him when she saw Zhao had laid down the bed. He had put his one arm over his eyes. Zhu Rui walked out and then opened one of the trolley bags in which she brought two blankets. Taking out put, she went inside their room and covered Zhao from it when her hand touched his.

"Why are you burning like a volcano?" Zhu Rui asked with a concerned look and then removed his arm from his forehead. She placed her hand over his forehead. "Zhao, you are sick. You have a burning fever," Zhu Rui said worriedly.

"Let me sleep. My head is aching," Zhao said in a low voice. Zhu Rui quickly took out her phone from the pocket of the long coat that she was wearing and called her friend who is a doctor. "Ning Xu, are you free?" Zhu Rui asked her.

"Just got free from the work. What happened? You sound quite disturbed," Ning Xu asked from the other side.

"Ning Xu, my husband is sick. He is burning with fever. Could you please come to the address that I am sending you?" Zhu Rui asked her.

"Of course. Send me the address. I will be there," Ning Xu proclaimed. Zhu Rui thanked her and hung up the call. She quickly texted her the address and sat beside Zhao. Placing her hand over Zhao's forehead she said, "Doctor is coming in a while."

Thirty minutes later, Ning Xu arrived there. She rang the doorbell. Zhu Rui went to the door and brought her in. Ning Xu asked about Zhao when Zhu Rui took her to the bedroom. She put a chair beside the bed for Ning Xu and told her to sit on that.

Ning Xu opened the suitcase she was carrying with her. Taking out her stethoscope, she checked Zhao's heartbeat and then took it out. "What is this wound?" Ning Xu asked Zhu Rui.

"He got into a minor accident," Zhu Rui replied.

"He got fever because of this. No need to worry about. Here, I am giving a fever reducer medicine to him along. Also, he has tired himself out which is also a reason for this burning fever. Give this medicine to him after he will take his meal and one in the morning," Ning Xu explained Zhu Rui who, took the medicine from him.

Ning Xu closed her tiny suitcase and then stood up. They both walked out of the room when she asked Zhu Rui what were they doing in such a house.

"Long story. I will tell you sometime," Zhu Rui told her.

"Okay. I will call you later. Take care," Ning Xu stated.

"Wait, what about the bill?" Zhu Rui asked her.

"Zhu, aren't we friends?" Ning Xu asked her.

"Yes we are but your-" Ning Xu hit lightly on Zhu Rui's arm. "-my payment us due with a dinner meal with you and your husband. Call me when everything will be fine. I must leave then," stated Ning Xu. Before leaving she gave a hug to Zhu Rui.

Xiao Long reached home holding the bags in his hand. Zhu Rui helped him and carried the bags to the dining table in the kitchen. "Who was that lady?" Xiao Long asked Zhu Rui.

"Zhao has fever so I called my friend doctor. He is burning with fever," Zhu Rui said worriedly.

"What? What about medicines?" Xiao Long asked Zhu Rui.

"Ning Xu had given me the medicines. Uncle, did you but porridge? I think I should make it for that," stated Zhu Rui.

"I will make it. You should be with Zhao as he is alone," muttered Xiao Long. "Don't worry. Go to him," Xiao Long told her. Zhu Rui nodded and went to the room. Xiao Long after twenty minutes came to the room, bringing porridge in a bowl on a tray. "Zhu Rui, wake him up," Xiao Long told her.

"Zhao, eat something. You have to take medicine after that," Zhu Rui stated. Zhao gradually opened his eyes. Zhu Rui saw how red his eyes were. She helped Zhao in sitting up and ran outside. She brought the two pillows and put them behind Zhao's back. Xiao Long handed the tray to Zhu Rui.

She grabbed the spoon and took porridge from it. "Open your mouth," Zhu told Zhao who opened his mouth. Zhu Rui spoon fed him. After taking 5-6 spoon of porridge, Zhao refused eating.

"Just give me water and medicine. I don't want to eat more," Zhao said in a meek voice. Zhu put the bowl down on the tray while Xiao Long quickly brought a water glass and handed it to Zhu. Zhao grabbed the glass from her and medicine too. "Slowly," Zhu Rui said as she caressed his back with her one hand. After he was done drinking water, Zhu took the glass from him and helped him in laying down on the bed.

"Close your eyes and take a good sleep," Zhu Rui told Zhao who did so. Xiao Long took away the tray and glass to the kitchen. After a while, he came with a big bowl and a tiny white towel in his hand. "Zhu, you must put the soaked towel on his forehead. This way his fever will come down quickly," stated Xiao Long. Zhu thanked him and started doing so.
