Zhao was outside the bedroom. He was confused why did he stop when he should go in without even asking for the permission of Zhu Rui who was inside the room. After a while, he lifted his hand and then pushed the door lightly. He stepped inside and closed the door behind him.

Zhu Rui was sitting on the bed with her back towards him. He heard the sobbing of Ru Shi which somewhere angered him. Gradually, he moved forward when Zhu Rui turned her head to him. Her eyes were red due to crying, anger could be seen in them.

"Zhu, I am-"

"Why are you talking to me?" Zhu Rui shouted at him. "Leave me alone," Zhu Rui stated. Zhao lowered his eyes and then walked to her. He was standing beside her, not uttering any word. "Go away if you don't want to be killed by me," Zhu Rui said while crying.

"How will you kill me?" Zhao joked and slightly laughed which angered Zhu Rui. She stood up and slapped him hard. Zhao had not expected this. "Go away," again she said, stressing her words.

"I won't go," Zhao stated.

Zhu Rui knitted her brows. "My mood isn't good. You will end up hurting," Zhu Rui muttered.

"I want to get hurt," Zhao replied.

"W-what?" Zhu Rui exclaimed.

Zhao take a step closer to her and said, "I want to get hurt. I signed off those papers so you have every right to kill me." Tears rolled down Zhu Rui's cheeks upon hearing Zhao's words. She lifted her hand up and made a fist of it. She started hitting hit him on the chest.

"You are such a bad man. You promised me that for a month you will cooperate with me but you break it off. You signed those papers without even thinking about my feelings," Zhu Rui said while weeping. Suddenly Zhao grabbed her hand and stopped her.

He pulled her towards him and from placed the other hand on his cheek. He wiped the tears from her cheeks using her thumb and then lifted her chin up. "You tore those papers so we are legally together. Nothing has happened to my promise. But I want to ask something from you."

Zhu Rui sobbed. "Ask then," she said.

"What if someone will tell you that you are a wife of a murderer's son? What if I won't have enough money to fulfill your wishes? What if you have to hear the taunts of people around us about me? Will you able to love me with the same intensity? Will your love for me be the same as it is now?" Zhao asked her numerous questions at once.

They both peered into each others eyes for a while. "For more than ten years, my love has been same.. No… it has increased more. I have finally made it and married you. I don't want to separate from you. It does not matter to me what people say. The most important thing that's matter is you. I don't love those people but I love you and I just want to be with you," Zhu Rui proclaimed.

Zhao nodded his head. "Fine. I am not giving you divorce neither I will in the future. I will abide by our promise. I want to fall in love with you," Zhao finally confessed.

Zhu Rui's eyes turned a little big hearing his sudden confession. 'Fall in love with me?" she murmured as her eyes kept looking into Zhao's eyes.

"I want to open my heart for you but it is closed long ago for the other woman. Now, it is your responsibility to make it open and flutter for you. Don't complain after a month that I did not give you a chance. Do anything this time but make sure you make me fall for you," Zhao pronounced.

"I will," Zhu Rui replied. "But what if you won't open your heart for me. You said you won't divorce me then what will you do?" Zhu Rui questioned him.

"I will just live with you. You love me, right? So, I will let you love me and fulfill my duties as a husband," Zhao told her.

"Won't that be a torture to me? Love happens between the two people," stated Zhu Rui.

"It seems you think I will never open my heart for you. That's why looking at a pessimistic side," Zhao opined and then released his fingers from her chin.

"Okay. I won't look at the negative side. Tell me if I can do anything to make your heart flutter?" Zhu Rui asked him.

"Yes," answered Zhao.

A smile carved on Zhu Rui's face. "So, does it start from now onward?" Zhu queried him.

"Didn't it start a few days ago. You have lost your six days already," Zhao asserted.

"Whatever I will do you will not resist, right?" Zhu asked him.

"What are you going to do?" Zhao asked her back.

"Just answer me," Zhu Rui said.

"I won't resist," stated Zhao. Zhu Rui smiled and tiptoed to kiss him when he put his finger on her lips. "Without my permission you can't kiss me," Zhao declared.

Zhu Rui looked at him confusedly. "You just said you won't resist whatever I will do. See, you are not letting me do anything," Zhu Rui complained.

"Kissing isn't allowed. You love me only- that means it's one way. You can give a hug to me but not a kiss until I want the same. Kiss will happen only when I will open my heart to you," Zhao pronounced. A faint smile was on his lips.

"Fine. I will wait for you to kiss me. I will wait for you my first kiss although we have kissed earlier too but no now was from your heart. So, I will wait to give you me a kiss," Zhu Rui promised him and then lifted her little finger up. "Do a pinky promise that you will let me do everything apart from this kissing," Zhu Rui stated.

Zhao grabbed her pinky finger with his and then joined the thumbs together, making a pinky promise with her. "I, Zhao, promise that you can do every possible thing to make my heart open for you." They both smiled looking into each others eyes.
