Chasing After My Wife Chapter 541

"Are you really going to ignore me?" Travis questioned after an hour since they received the call from Jade. His wife was still upset and their late-night talk last night was dissolved. She was completely ignoring him!
Jillyanna didn't say anything. She didn't even look at him in the eye. In truth, she was just doing it to make an excuse to pass their love making session. She finally found a reason not to do it today, why would she waste such opportunity?
She changed her clothes to a bathing suit and covered it with a robe. Outside the hotel, everyone was practically walking around with just their swimming clothes on since they were at the beach. It was pretty normal to walk around with just a two-piece or a one-piece. However, Jillyanna wasn't that confident in her figure anymore. She had two scars that she didn't want to show anyone except her husband.
"Are you going out? I thought we're not going out today." She only glared at him sharply before taking her sunglasses and summer hat; and walked out of their hotel room. "Wifey, wait for me."
She continued to walk while Travis followed her closely. The soldiers who were tasked to look after them also followed discreetly. They couldn't let anyone that the husband and wife were guarded. They needed to observe the surroundings as well to make sure that no one will come to harm the couple.
"Is Mr. and Mrs. Madrigal fighting?" one of the soldiers asked through his earpiece. He was watching the two not far from him and he noticed that Jillyanna was wearing a dark face and Travis was following with a teasing grin on his face. "Never mind. I think the husband was just teasing his wife."
"That's practically what the honeymoon is all about." The other soldier responded.
"Man, I'm envious of them. When will I get a girlfriend?"
"If you stop taking care of your guns and start looking for a woman. How will you find a woman when you spent most of your time with your collections of knives and guns? Women will be afraid of you if they know that." The third soldier responded with a deep sigh.
"Then, maybe I should just give up on the girlfriend part. I can't let go of my collections."
"Then, spend your time being alone forever."

The three soldiers were talking back and forth while keeping their eyes on Jillyanna and Travis. The couple were going to the nearest swimming pool where Jillyanna can have a refreshing dip in a cold water. It wasn't very cold, just enough temperature to make you feel so refreshed.
She took of her glasses and hat, and placed it on the small table near the rattan chair that she found. There weren't many people using the pool since most of the tourists were at the beach. She wanted to go there as well but she thought it was too hot to be dipping in a sea water.
"Wifey, you can have a swim while I look after your things." Travis volunteered while helping his wife took of her bathrobe. She was wearing a red two-piece swimsuit which looked so sexy on her tall and lean body.
"Don't go anywhere." Jillyanna reminded him while she dipped her foot on the water surface. She wanted to feel the temperature first. "Not bad." She murmured and looked back to him. "I'll be spending time with the water and you should never go anywhere else."
"Hn. I understand my beautiful wife." Travis leaned to kiss her but Jillyanna covered his mouth to stop him.
"Don't think you can go all physically touchy with me just because I'm talking to you. I am still upset."
"Sorry. I won't do it again." He threw all his acting skills in this moment and looked like a sad puppy in front of her. "Will you please forgive me?"
"I'll think about it while swimming."
Without further ado, Jillyanna get into the pool with a wide smile on her face. She was finally out and if her acting continues, if she will be able to endure the harsh treatment she was giving him, she can skip tonight's session. That's what she planned.
Travis watched her wife swam across the pool. Sometimes she would swim towards him but she won't say anything after emerging from the water. Since he couldn't leave his post, he called for a hotel service lady and asked for two drinks and two sandwiches. They haven't eaten anything and she's probably hungry, just not saying it because she was mad at him.
Iillyanna noticed that someone was gazing at her. It was so intense that she felt it was burning her skin. She looked around the place and found a man looking at her across the rim of his juice glass. He was wearing a flower printed shirt and a white short. Even though he was quite far from Jillyanna, she could feel that the man was looking at her. She had a 20-20 vision after all.

Disgusted with how he was ogling at her, Jillyanna swam towards Travis and sat beside him, didn't even care about her wet body pressing his. "Someone's looking at your wife with clear lust. I hate it." She whispered to him while he helped put the robe on her.
"Which one?" Travis questioned without looking around, pretending that he didn't know but he was taking note of her description. After a few minutes, their drinks and food arrived so Jillyanna had the time to rest this time. She leaned on him and hugged her one hand on his waist while she was holding the juice with her other hand.
She needed to show to the world that she's taken and someone that you couldn't take. When Travis wasn't looking, she raised her chin up and looked towards the man who had been watching her. Her smiled was one of mocking and victory. She was clearly showing who owned her.
The man just smiled and left. "God! I hate that kind of look they threw at me. It made me want to gouge their eyes and feed them to the dogs."
"Hey! You can't be too violent. It's not good for you. I can gouge them for you instead? Do you want it serve in a platter or in a bowl?"
"None of them. They don't deserve to be placed in those things. They can just be thrown directly. Tsk!"
Travis chuckled and hugged his wife to calm her. "Alright. Don't worry about it anymore. Everything will be fine. I'll deal with this matter. You don't need to be upset."
"Hn. I won't let it ruin my day."
"Do you want to swim again? Maybe I can accompany you."
"Maybe? You don't have plans to accompany me?"
"Well, I thought you are still upset."
"Huh? Ah! Oh! Right. I am still upset. Don't swim with me." She stood up to take another dip when Travis held her hand and pulled her back. He was hugging from behind while placing his chin on her shoulders.
"Wifey, I know I'm wrong. Can we please make up now? I don't want you to get angry at me. I'm really sad."
"Really?"
"Hn."
"I'll forgive you if you promise me something."
"What is it? I'll do it without a doubt." Travis was expecting something doable and he was very eager to earn her forgiveness. Of course, he would do his best to accomplish his promise.
"I want you to promise that we won't do anything exhausting tonight."
"What? Why?"
"Why are you reacting that way? I thought you want me to forgive you."
"But..b-but we talked about it last night."
"And you did something bad this morning."
"Was it bad that I was worried for you? I didn't say anything because of your fragile heart. What would I do if something happens to you?"
"What would you do if something happens to them without me knowing?"
"I don't think something will happen to them. I trust my friends. I trust the soldiers. I know that they will keep our family safe at the cost of their lives. There's now way something bad would befall them."
Jillyanna looked at him before averting her eyes. He was right. In fact, she also trusted the people who Calhoun sent. However, she can't stop herself from getting worried. Nonetheless, she was just making excuses in front of him. She wasn't really angry or upset about him.
"Okay. I'll change my condition to forgive you."
"What is it this time? You won't make another impossible request, right? You can ask anything, just not the thing we talked about last night. I can't do it. I've been longing to hold you in my arms."
"Aren't you holding me now?"
"Then, should I let you go?"
"Try it and you will never see me again."
Travis couldn't hold back his laughter anymore. His wife just so adorable and beautiful. Even when she's acting mad, she would often look at him from a far. She might have been trying to hide it but Travis knew that she was looking at him from time to time.
"Fine. Let's go and have a tour today."
"Sure, madam. I'll go on a tour with you." He responded almost instantly, without a doubt, without hesitations.

The Second Coming of Fate [A High Fantasy Story]
Prologue Arc: The Day That Begins Your Fate - COMPLETED Story Arc 1: Chaos in the Lamorian Kingdom - ONGOING Please consider following/leaving a rating. I plan to turn this into a long lasting series, and it would really mean a whole lot to me. :) ----- Having succumb to amnesia, Galvin one day appears in the Grand Forest east of the capital kingdom Lamora. For the next two months, he lives a perfectly carefree yet boring life until one fateful day changed everything. Encountering all sorts of characters and dealing with all sorts of shenanigans, Galvin begins to experience visions of what appears to be the future. With this newfound power in a world full of magic, yet plagued with war, discrimination, and brutality, will Galvin be able to change fate…or die trying? ----- Do you like stories where the protagonist doesn't start out strong and is deeply character driven (with a LOT of inner monologues)? A story that has its fair share of comedic and dark moments? Well then you've come to the right place! However, if you're looking for LitRPG mechanics, then unfortunately, this story doesn't contain too many of them. The dynamics of the story will be based on real life physics and mechanics (with a bit of magic of course!) Also, I delve deeply into a lot of disturbing topics, so readers do be warned. However, if any of this sounds interesting to you, then please come by and give my story a read. ----- Expect releases as soon as possible (which is like 4 - 10 days). Just know that I'm writing this story as it progresses, so a lot of first drafts are to be expected. :D
