Chasing After My Wife Chapter 527

Tristan wasn't good with martial arts or shooting guns so, he had to rely to the soldiers when it comes to his protection. Shein was also cooperating with him for the success of this plan. There so many lives at stake in this mission and they can't afford to lose anyone of their troops.
Valkyrie and Hawk was tasked to raid the mansion and to rescue the prisoners including Celestine. "At the count of three, I'll come inside and clear the way. Cover for me." Hawk instructed Val.
"Hn. I got your back." Valkyrie nodded his head.
Shein and Tristan were monitoring the surveillance cameras and was making sure that no one would see them. Nonetheless, the soldiers had to be very careful since there were some blind spots in the mansion. Hawk led everyone to the interior of the large house.
"Where should we go from here?" Hawk asked through his earpiece.
"One of team should go upstairs. Another team should check the basement which should be containing the hostages." Tristan responded.
"Got it." Hawk led half of the team to the basement while Valkyrie brought the other half to the second and to the third floor of the building.
"Please be careful. The leader of the group is very cunning." Tristan reminded Valkyrie.
He was very cunning indeed. He didn't dare himself too escape or face his enemies head on. Valkyrie and his team looked for him everyone; room after room but, he was nowhere to be found. Just as Valkyrie was about to open the last closed door, his hand stopped midair and he leaned his ear on the door.
'Beep! Beep! Beep!'
His gut told him to run away, far from the room that they all wanted to open. "F*ck! Go away! Run!" Valkyrie shouted to his troops. They were on the third floor and at the farthest corner of the hallway. Even if they would run, they won't make it to the other end! They will die. The leader placed the bombs at the last room where the soldiers would find it last. He wanted everyone to gather at the end of the hallway to make sure that they won't have room to escape.

The beeping sound of the timer on the bomb was getting faster and it was expected to explode any time. They didn't find anyone inside the mansion and they didn't see anyone come out either. Tristan told them that the leader and his two trusted men were still inside so they were baffled when they didn't find anyone inside.
Hawk, on the other hand, found three hostages and on the farthest corner was Celestine's room. When he came to get her, he stopped on his track and raised his hand over his head to surrender. A middle-aged man was holding her with a sharp knife pressed on her neck.
"Just as I thought. Tristan betrayed the organization and sold us out." The man spoke softly with twisted madness in his eyes. Hawk look around to see if there's anyone with him but he didn't find another soul from them.
Celestine was crying silently while trying to hold out the man's hand from pressing the knife on her throat. She was scared. She didn't want to die yet. "Help me." They could hardly hear her trembling voice and she was clearly shaking.
"shut up!" The man shouted and tightened her hold on her, almost choking her to death. Celestine kept her mouth shut while her tears kept streaming down her face. "I hate people who betrays the trust given to them. I have helped him for so many years and this is how he will repay me?! Insolent!"
"You betrayed him first! Didn't you kill my sister-in-law?!" Celestine yelled at the man who only smiled at her.
"Oh! He found out?" The man questioned without any trace of guilt on his face at all. He seemed to be enjoying the memories of his evil actions. "Well, too bad. He wasn't able to stop her death. If he didn't refuse my request, he would've been happily married now."

"You're a monster!" Celestine shouted angrily. "My brother never wanted to betray you. You were the one who was being too much. Why are you doing this to him?"
"No reason." The man responded nonchalantly. In the dark place, Hawk noticed someone moving towards them He wanted to shoot whoever was lurking behind them but the man warned him. "Don't shoot him or she will die."
Another man emerged from the shadows, who seemed to be of the same age as Valkyrie. He was pressing his gun on Hawk's head with a faint smile on his lips. He was looking towards the gang leader and Celestine. His hand was steady and his breathing was stable.
"Sir, I have followed your instruction." Hibiki informed the leader while keeping the gun on Hawk.
"Good. Come and hold this woman for me. We need her as a hostage to get out of here." The middle-aged man responded.
Hibiki walked towards him while keeping his gun pointed towards the soldier and Hawk. The soldiers couldn't act recklessly specially that it was part of the mission to keep the woman alive.
The gang leader smiled when he saw his trusted aide came towards him. He handed the woman to him with victorious smile on his lips. "Let us go or I will ask him to kill this woman. You've got your choices."
"If we let you go, do you think we won't continue to pursue you?" Hawk question to buy sometime. He was sure that Valkyrie would be coming down to the basement now.
"I can at least find a new place to hide in exchange for her life."
"Correct." Hibiki mumbled, raised his gun and shoot the man with less effort. It was so sudden that the gang leader didn't know how he died. "Sorry it took me long to come and get you." He spoke to Celestine and gently pat her back to comfort her.
"I thought you abandoned me."
"I would never do that." Hibiki responded with a smile.
Hawk gestured the man and the woman to come and follow them out but a loud 'bang' stopped them from running out. Several debris were falling from the loud noise that came from above the ground. It was so sudden and they were all taken aback.

8 217Anti-Martial Academy: PRiSMA Saga (LN)
{A crossover based on a Visual Novel still in the works called ‘PRiSMA’, and heavily inspired by the Light Novel called ‘Anti-Magic Academy’. Thus, the plot and events are reminiscent of the latter.} The denizens of the underworld, Anima and long forgotten Martial Artists of the Murim, both allied with each other to fight humanity. Their attacks almost caused the fledgling Magi to become extinct. When heroes appeared to fight off the invading forces, the ‘First World Ender War’ finally came to a conclusion. In the stalemate that followed, the new Magi went through a technological revolution. In the current era of peace, the Anti-Martial Academy was made to fight off those Martial Artists infiltrating the Earthland Domain. In the present, the ‘Red Queen’ was demoted back into the Academy. Forced to join the ‘Support Squad’, a team of outcasts who can’t fight even to save their lives, the one most uncomfortable became Fritz Lazrik, the leader that seemed too much like a pushover. Wielding a MagiPen in hand, he has the small hope of being able to beat the ‘monster’ joining them. The start of their legend begins...————I have posted this on other sites.

It was then did John use a dark magic that did he got them out of that situation. But in exchange for the princess's safety, John Sarvod was exiled from A'vetheas for using 'demon magic'. What will he do after the life he knew was uprooted and taken away from him? Will the 'demon magic' that caused his exile from the Elven Tribe bring him into a slow descent into madness? Book 2 description: Having found a life for himself outside of A'vetheas, a family, enrolled to a good school, and a potential romantic partner, John Sarvod continues on with his life the best he could, carrying himself forward, until... He messes it all up again. This time, however, it isn't because of his magic. It was by his own demerit. What is the cause of despair? Find out in Consignor Book 2. Old description (Without spoiler) John Sarvod, user of the most powerful healing spell [Heal], the rare ability to heal and recover all injuries, is the only human that lives in the Elven Tribe. Though he was gifted with [Heal], he could not cast any magic other than his one and only [Heal]. Aside from his current training to become a royal scribe, he is known to all elves as the ‘Healer of A’vetheas’ and had gained a certain amount of respect from them due to how much he works. But life for him in the Elven Tribe, A’vetheas wasn't never always like this. Because he was human, and that the Elves have isolated themselves from the outside world, his presence initially was not welcomed by the elves that thinks highly of him today. It was all thanks to the Elven Queen who brought him in, and the Elven Princess, Raina Valindra Eridi, that he could reach this day. But things changed when the Raina that he so adored used the teleportation device for a small date with him, where they met with danger that the [Heal] that he relied all this time could not save him from… In his desperate attempts to save Raina, John ended up committing a taboo of the elves. As for his punishment when he returned to A’vetheas? That was just the beginning of him, continuing the path that he had inevitably taken prior to the life he had before he lived in A’vetheas. This is a story of a not too average person end up becoming something that he could have never imagined. A monster? A demon? A god? Only time will tell. It is just a matter of time that John Sarvod would embrace his true self. Content Warning because I want to have flexibility, and maybe it gets overwhelming at times. I have a backlog already, this story won't be dropped. Edited: romance tag to action tag, story has more or less of both, but yeah. There's slice of life tagged in because my story progresses not too quickly (by my opinion) I like to take things slow, I suppose. :3
