Chasing After My Wife Chapter 482

Two weeks ago, when Jillyanna finally woke up, she looked for Travis immediately. And the first thing that came out of her mouth was, 'let's go to the cemetery'. Travis was really happy when she woke up but when he heard about her request, his smile faltered.
"Why do you want to go there?" Travis asked while the doctors checked her vitals. They didn't know how it happened but the numbers on her chart rose up and stabilized. It was one of the miracles that doctors witnessed again. Even if they are doctors, they knew that there are certain times that they couldn't really do anything and they also believe that miracles happen.
She stayed for two weeks in the hospital for close observation and physical therapy. She stayed in bed for more than a month so, her nerves and muscles need to be exercised to make sure that she will be able to walk just fine. They were relieved when she wasn't experiencing any other side effects aside from getting tired easily.
Dr. Alison kept the letter to herself first. She wanted to make sure that Jillyanna was fine before handing the message to her. She didn't really know what was inside the letter but she knew that Lyla hated her so she was just being careful.
After the two-week long period for therapy and observation, she was finally allowed to leave the hospital but a nurse will accompany them wherever they go to make sure that she was alright. Therefore, Brown's worry will be lessened since there's a nurse who would help him.
He promised her that they would go to the cemetery but he didn't expect that everyone would come with them. Sky and Alex wanted to visit the doctor who helped them as well, the biological mother of Jillyanna. Thomas actually visited his wife and Elizabeth not long ago but he wanted to come along with them, too.

The twins and Shien wanted to know a little about Jillyanna's mother and Travis' mother as well. Jenny wanted to come and pay respect to Jillyanna's mother, the person who gave birth to a wonderful woman in her life.
Jade was also very excited to go to the cemetery since she will be introduced to her grandmothers. She had been looking forward to this day and she couldn't contain her excitement.
"Mommy, why do we have to wear black?" Jade asked her while looking at her cute black dress.
"Because that is the color of death. I am happy that I am alive but I am mourning as well. I miss my mother so much that I wanted to come with her." Jillyanna answered softly while looking at her daughter. Even though she wasn't facing Travis, she could feel the intense gaze that was being directed to her. "When I was at the hospital, when I didn't know how long it was already, I remained seated in a corner of a dark place. I didn't want to move and wander around. Then, I saw my mother. I was so happy when I saw her again. She had the same beautiful face as a I last remembered and she brought me to different places that we used to go." Jillyanna narrated her experience. "I saw my father, too. I saw the man that I missed so much. I talked to him, I asked for forgiveness; I had been feeling guilty because of my accusations to him. I just really missed the two of them. I missed eating with them, chatting with them, playing with them; I miss everything that we used to do in the past. I didn't know how long it was since I stayed with them. Then, I told her that I want to stay and accompany them but my mother sighed. She didn't want me to come and find them. She told me that someone was waiting for me. It didn't even occur to me that you are still alive." Jillyanna stated the last stamen to Travis.

Travis knew what she meant since he was the reason that she got tricked and was in a brink of death. "When I woke up, it was my instinct that told me to find you."
Travis reached out his hand and held hers. Jade was looking at her mother, listening to her story and a tear fell on the corner of her eyes. She was glad, very glad that the person who took her in was Jillyanna. She had the same experience as her and they understood each other. She also didn't neglect the fact that Jade might not want to forget her biological mother. Such a fine woman deserves to live a happy and peaceful life.
Jade turned her face and looked at the scenery outside the window. She wiped her tears when no one was watching her and smiled. 'Thank you for always guiding me, ma. You told me that you would guide me forever and you did. You guided me to meet these kind and warm people.
Well, they were kind and warm to those people who would show respect to them but they can be cold and ruthless when someone overstepped their bottom line. Jade might not have known it but she was also the same kind as them. Jillyanna tried getting another wink of sleep on their way to the cemetery since she felt really tired. She just wanted to conserve her energy. She was just about to close her eyes when she remembered something.
"I just have a question, you mentioned that you have been looking for me, didn't you visit the cemetery this past decade?"
"I did. I always visit our parents during their death anniversary."
"Then, didn't you notice the flowers that I planted around my mother's grave?" Jillyanna questioned. It was something that she forgot to ask him
Travis looked at her as if trying to recall something. "I didn't know you planted those? There was a time that I visited the cemetery and I found our gardener planting the flowers around your mother's and my mother's grave. I thought it was Dad who asked someone to plant them."
Jillyanna chuckled faintly when she realized how their fate played with them. She remembered that Thomas volunteered to have someone take care of the plants while she was away. She didn't expect that it would make them missed each other's path again.
"If I had known, I would've found you sooner than later." Travis spoke with regret expression. He missed so many details in the past that could have led him to her.
"Don't think about it. It's already in the past. I was just wondering earlier. Forget it already." Jillyanna responded to him. She didn't want him to regret about it again.
