Chasing After My Wife Chapter 445

Before school starts in June next year, Jade had a full-load schedule. Spend time with her grandparents or aunties or uncles in the morning while learning different things. Visiting her mother in the afternoon and spend time with her doing different things that they can enjoy. Saturday morning was scheduled to study computers with Shein. Whole Sunday was playing pretend with her biological father.
Time quickly passed and it was three days before the wedding. Jillyanna was permitted to go home for the meantime until the wedding end of her wedding.
"Mommy! I saw the dress that was made for me! It was very beautiful! I look like a real princess." Jade excitedly stated towards Jillyanna who was sitting on the couch in the living room.
"You are our little princess and you will attend Mommy's wedding." Jillyanna mumbled. She was excited too. She haven't seen the venue or the reception or anything. All she knew was that her wedding gown was luxurious and grand.
"Mommy, can I come with Auntie Riley to the preparation? I want to help, too."
"But if you go there, Mommy will be alone."
"Right. I will just stay with mommy." Jade responded with a smile. "Mommy, Daddy said you have something to show me."
"Hn. It's an important place to me." Jillyanna stood up and held Jade's hand before leading her to the rooms behind the bookshelves. She already asked Travis to place the bookshelves somewhere so that Jade will have an easy access to the place. "These are my rooms when I was little. Now, it is sort of storage room for my personal stuff."
Jade looked around and found a large picture frame of her late parents. "Who is this beautiful bride and handsome groom?"

"That's my biological parents."
"Huh? You are adopted, too?" Jade was really surprised to know that.
"Yup. My father died when I was six or probably seven years old. He left us during his sickness so I didn't know he was dead already. I thought he was still a live. Did you see the small flower bed under the mango tree?"
"Yes."
"That's where my father was being buried."
"Oh. That's why Auntie Riley told me to make sure that I don't step on the flowers. How about your mother?"
"My mother died when I was twelve due to an accident. Then, I got adopted later on."
"I didn't see Daddy's mother. Is she gone, too?"
"Yes. A year after my mother died, she also passed away. My mother and your Daddy's mother were best friends."
"That is really sad. But they must be watching us from heaven. Grandpa Lewis always told me that my mother and baby sister are watching me from heaven."
Jillyanna caressed the girl's cheeks. She's very small but she knows a lot. Once you tell her something, she would remember it carefully and store it in her amazing brain.
"You can use this place, too. You can play here. You can also study here. You can choose whichever room you want to use."
"Thank you, Mommy." Jade threw herself to her mother and hugged her carefully, making sure that she wasn't hurting the tummy.
"You are very much welcome, sweetheart."
Since they couldn't leave the house and everyone was busy for the wedding preparation, the two of them spent their time inside Jillyanna's personal space. She read books to Jade, answered her questions, wrote letters and numbers, drew different things and color them. They only took breaks for lunch and snack time.

Travis was busy coordinating with everyone at the reception, at the church and the construction happening for expanding the area of their place. The last thing was something Jillyanna and Jade was unaware of.
On Friday, they only managed to finish designing half of the reception hall. The wedding church was almost done since it didn't need so much decoration.
The twins and Shein came home together from the reception. Even after the whole day of work, they were still full of energy.
"I am so excited for this wedding." Riley mentioned as they walked inside the house.
"Me too. When I saw the reception hall, it was so huge that I was really surprised." Jackie added.
"Huge indeed. We only manage to finish half of it." Shein agreed to her.
Jade heard them from the room and asked Jillyanna if they could go out already. Jillyanna let her go and she ran to Riley immediately.
"Auntie, is the place really big?" she asked with her round eyes, eagerly waiting for Riley's answer.
"It is. You will be very surprise on Sunday." responded to the child. "Did you try your dress already?"
"Hn! I tried it earlier and it was perfectly fit. I was afraid to damage it so I took it off immediately."
"That's fine. We will see you on Sunday wearing it. I am sure you will be very pretty." Jackie told the child with a smile.
"How's the preparation?" Jillyanna asked them softly when she got out of the room, closing the door behind.
"When big bro said this will be grand, it is really a grand wedding. I saw the wedding church and it would take you two minutes to walk down the aisle. Since you will have to walk slower, I guess the guests will have to wait three to four minutes before you reach your groom." Riley answered with a grin. Her eyes were shining as if she was the one who was getting married.
"Not only that, the reception hall was very big. I think it can fit five hundred people inside. We only manage to decorate half of the place." Jackie mentioned to her.
Jillyanna didn't know what to say. Since Travis wanted to surprise her, she didn't know what he was up to. Even now, he was busy in the study room doing things on his own, without letting her worry about anything.
"I see. Go and wash up now. Auntie Fei and Auntie Sisi are almost done cooking our dinner." Jillyanna could only say these words since her mind was still imagining the kind of grand that Travis wanted.
"Mommy, how grand is grand?" Jade asked her since she didn't know what grand was.
"We have different personal meaning of grand but I guess your Daddy's grand is a very very very big event. Let's just see it on Sunday. I haven't seen it myself."

Naruto Retsuden: Toru
[SI/OC Third Shinobi War]Well fought and well done. All of us fight as one. It took me three years to be able to properly read the faded out kanji of the flimsy poster that I keep in my back pocket. The illustration is colourful, bright reds and yellows. Colours that would definitely catch the attention of a child. The poster was carefully placed along the walls and fences of my village, level with the height of a four year old. I thought enlisting to become a Shinobi was a heroic deed, something I needed to do to save my family from poverty and to serve my country at the cusp of war. Then I graduated early to be deployed to the front lines.I am sadly and sorely mistaken. Warnings:Slow-burnNO OP-NESSRomance? What romance?
