Chasing After My Wife Chapter 444

The two of them went up stairs to get to Shein's room, leaving the two Auntie's to finish their work. They weren't in a hurry since it wasn't their schedule to send food to the hospital. It was Gabriel and Winter's turn to visit the couple and bring them food.
Back to Shein's room, he put Jade down on the floor to admire his computers. Jade was indeed amazed and she was already touching the keyboards and the mouse.
"Let's see how you will use it." Shein dared her and Jade accepted the challenged. She picked up the wires and inserted them on ther respective places. "Are you sure that's where you should put it?" he asked the little who seemed confident with her actions.
"It has the same colors so, it should be right." Jade answered him.
"But I interchanged their colors. They are no longer matching." Shein lied again while making a soft whistle.
Jade put down the wires and looked at him. "Do you really want me to match the wrong wires? If you keep telling me the wrong instructions, it will damage your computers."
"Y-you...you little devil..why aren't you cute like any other children? You are so smart and frank."
"Because you won't buy my cuteness. Only Auntie Riley is cute and adorable to you."
Riley who woke up and was currently listening to them outside the room was giggling to her heart's content. It wasn't every day that Shein found a match like this, it was fun to listen with their silly argument.
She opened the door and went inside to see the a man of legal age having a staring contest with a child of six years old. It was so funny!
She took a picture of them and posted it in their family group chat where everyone would see their happy moments wherever they were.
"A staring contest between a child and a man. It is so funny watching them argue about silly things."

She posted the picture and gained so many laughing reactions.
"Jade is just so adorable. What are they fighting for?" Savannah asked.
"They are arguing about the computers." Riley responded.
"Jade wanted to use the computers? That's really surprising." Diego commented. "I have heard a lot of things about this little girl but I haven't seen her in person."
"You should visit the hospital during the afternoon. She always visits her parents there." Valkyrie retorted.
Since she didn't want to enjoy the moment alone, Riley turned her video instead to record the two guys staring each other.
"Go ahead and turn it on." Shein stated with a smirk. Jade just smiled at him and went to connect the remaining wires before she booted the system. "How do you know about computers?"
"When I was still roaming around, I often ended up in computer cafes. I watched people do this."
Soon, the computer was completely started but there was a password needed. "You want to use my computer, right? Then, you will have to crack the password."
Jade crossed her small arms over her chest. "You think too highly of me Uncle. How would I know something I didn't study. Nobody taught me how to crack password so, just type it yourself. Or do you want to be locked out from your own computer?"
Riley burst into a fit of laughter again. Jade really knew what to say and gain agreement from someone. With defeated expression, Shein walked towards her and typed the long password.
Jade's eyes lit up when she saw the applications on his computer. He looked for a certain symbols among the apps and clicked it.
"What are you doing?!" Shein was horrified to see her opening the Java and HTML. "That's something you can't play."
"Who said I am playing. Just watch a little. I wanted to show you something and see if it is a good skill or not."

"Oh god this little devil." Shein was petrified but he also wanted to know what he was up to.
Riley ended the video and sent it to the group chat again.
"This is hilariously fun! I can't believe Shein was defeated by this little princess." Lucian mentioned after watching the video.
Shein opened the group chat and vented his little frustration. "Princess? More like a little demon! She tricked me into this!" he took two separate pictures of the note he got from her. "I wasn't able to read the second part of the note and I found myself agreeing to her little scheme."
"It's your fault for getting tricked."Jackie retorted when she found out what was going on after during her break.
"What's her payment by the way? The notes stated a payment. What is it?" Winter asked.
"It is a bracelet that she made herself." he uploaded a picture of his arm with the bracelet. "And she will bake me some cookies, too."
"That's so sweet of her." Wynwyn commented.
"Jade is really a nice girl." Sky added to the chat.
"What does she want to do with your computer by the way?" Hawk asked since Shein had a very valuable computer. It wasn't something a child can play.
Shein looked towards the little girl in front of his computers, looking so serious while typing some letters and numbers on the screen.
"What is it that you want to show me?" he asked when he couldn't take it anymore. Riley was sitting beside the child, watching her do her own thing.
"I don't know. I just saw someone doing this. When that person was done, there were numbers and symbols on the screen." Jade answered without looking at him. She was so focused with her work.
"Wait..this looks very familiar to what you did before." Riley mentioned as she tried to recall some things from her distant memory.
"Now that you mention it, it is indeed familiar." Shein looked at the series of codes that Jade wrote. "It's a calculator!" he exclaimed when he finally figured out what she was making.
"Calculator? What is that?" Jade didn't know what she was making. All she wanted to do was to know if the skill or talent she remembered can be of any use.
"Give me a sec." he used her phone to search for calculator app and showed it to Jade. "Is this what you are trying to make?"
"Yes, that's it." Jade admitted when she saw the simple calculator app.
"You know how to make this?" Shein can't believe that he found a talent.
"I saw someone making this and I remembered it clearly. I can type what's in my mind."
"Wow! That's amazing, Jade. Go on and finish it. I'll show it to your Mom and Dad." Shein was extremely excited to find a genius. His grinning face couldn't hide his happiness anymore.
After an hour, Jade finished what she wanted to make and showed it to Shein. "I am done, Uncle."
Riley captured a photo of Jade's work and sent it to the chat. "This is what she was making for an hour."
The message caused an uproar to their group chat. Jillyanna found herself a genius, kind, adorable and sweet daughter.
'I am indeed lucky.' she stated mentally while reading the messages.
"I didn't know if Jade understand what was battle of wit means but, she is actually doing it." Travis commented with a faint smile. "She's a rough diamond that needed to be polished. Too bad for Damien, he abandoned a trump card."
