Chasing After My Wife Chapter 390

Lyla was sitting on her couch fuming in anger. She was holding on to her phone while listening to the man speak on the other end of the line.
"If you want to do something, you have to wait until these four people leave to go somewhere. They were very capable and I heard that they often go off to different places for missions that Travis gave them. So you have to wait until Travis gives them something to do again." he was sitting on a vacant cubicle in the comfort room.
"Fine. I'll wait! When that happens, you better tell me as soon as possible!" Lyla stated with gritted teeth. She was so close to achieving her plan but now she had to wait again.
She was so angry that she punched her wooden table. "You will pay for what you've done! I'll make sure that you'll pay for it! I'll wait no matter how long. I will achieve my revenge against you."
IN THE HOSPITAL, Travis and Jillyanna were ready to go. This time, Riley, Shein, Savannah and Brown were coming along with them.
"Where's Top?" Travis asked the other men who were stationed to guard Jillyanna's room.
"He went to the comfort room sir." the other men answered.
"Okay. You guys can stay here. We won't be bringing any guards to avoid standing out in a crowd." Travis took hold of Jillyanna's hand and left after stating his piece.
"Shein, can you drive the car today?" Jillyanna asked since she didn't want to compromise her husband's health. After all, Travis just got fine from cold and light fever.
Shein nodded his head in agreement. He didn't really mind doing such little task. "I brought the van today since we will be shopping. I presume there will be a lot of things and we need bigger space."
Jillyanna gave him thumbs up. "You are really smart."

"Of course. I take my braincells from you." Shein answered which made them laugh. It sounded like Jillyanna was his biological mother but in fact, he was already smart even before. She just helped him to discover his abilities.
When they reached the ground floor and got out of the elevator, Eliezer was about to get inside for work as well.
"Morning Eli!" Jillyanna greeted him with a smile. "Have a great work today!"
"Thanks Jill. You guys take care! Don't forget to buy me a gift, too." Eli responded with a chuckle while waving his hand at them. When the elevator door closed, he let out a sigh. "I wish I could be happy just like her."
"Who was that?" Riley asked since it was the first she saw that man and someone closed to Jillyanna as well.
"That's Eliezer. We call him Eli and he's our family doctor. He's a close friend of mine as well. You can say that we're childhood friends." Jillyanna answered truthfully since Travis knew him, too.
"I see." Riley just nodded her head and followed Shein to the car.
"We'll take the other car to make sure that we'll have enough space with the things we'll buy." Savannah and Brown walked towards the different parking lot were Hawk parked their car earlier.
Jillyanna and Travis went inside the van that Shein was driving.
Soon, the two cars left the parking lot and headed for the biggest small in the city where they usually bought their stuff at home.
Riley was wearing a round clear glasses and a baseball cap. She placed a mole at the corner of her right eye and wore a face mask to cover her face.
Jillyanna and Travis were also wearing a disguise since they didn't want anyone to know them. They were not celebrity but they were famous personality as well.

"Where shall we go first?" Riley asked excitedly.
"How about we check the Kid's Apparel first. I've got the lists here so that we won't get confused which one to get." Jillyanna responded.
"I have a suggestion." Travis cut them short and spoke. "How about you guys shop the list of clothes and we shop for the toys. Brown will come with us to monitor my wife and Savannah come with you. How does that sound?"
"I'm fine with that." Brown responded.
"I don't mind." Savannah added.
So then and there, they divided the task to make their day productive. Jillyanna chose the toys according to the list. Travis was pushing the large cart beside her while she chose which one to buy.
There were stuff toys, cooking toys, cars, transformers and many other toys that the kids requested. Brown enjoyed shopping with them as well. He likes choosing the toys for the children.
After two hours, they finished buying what was on the list and Brown guided the attendant to bring the things to their car.
Jillyanna and Travis went to look for the other three while sending their location to Brown so that he can find them easily.
Savannah and Riley were buying the clothes for girls while Shein bought the clothes for boys. When Jillyanna and Travis arrived, they only came to pay and Shein was the one who guided the attendant to bring the things to their van.
"We are done with the clothes and toys. What's next?" Riley asked them since they still have a lot of time.
"Accessories." Jillyanna took another list from her purse and showed it to them. "We'll have to buy several computer sets, shoes and bags, too."
"That won't take time." Savannah took the list from Jillyanna. "Let's go and find the shoes first. It's on the same floor as we are now." Savannah led them to different shoe stores to find the sizes on the list.
"We don't need to buy expensive bags since the kids didn't know much about them. Let's buy something that they can use wherever they go." Riley suggested which ended up buying several backpacks.
After buying the shoes and the bags, they took a rest and waited for Shein and Brown to come back. They went inside a fruit tea shop and relaxed.
"We really did buy a lot." Riley commented while looking at the shopping bags on their side.
"Let's buy the remaining things later aside from the computers. We'll buy it in the afternoon after lunch." Jillyanna mentioned which they all agreed.
"Go ahead and choose which one you like." Travis handed them the menu.
Riley chose something for her and Shein while Savannah chose something for her and Brown. Jillyanna chose one for her and Travis as well.
"After we finished shopping the things for the kids, we will also shop for ourselves." Savannah stated while giving Riley a wink.
"Yup. I need to buy gifts, too." Riley added with a smile.
There were plans that they made without anyone knowing. They'd have to tell Brown and Shein about it later in secret.
"That's fine. It would be good if you guys can relax and shop too." Jillyanna retorted without any idea that they had something else in mind.
Brown and Shein came back and they chatted for a little while before they continued shopping. They shop and shop until it was noon and just barely manage to finish what was on the lists. The last one would be the computer sets.
"Let's take our lunch first." Travis spoke with several shopping bags on his hand.

The Granddaughter of Time
Teresa Hargrove was okay with giving up. She knew the Earth was doomed and there was nothing to be done about it. What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~
