Chasing After My Wife Chapter 350

"Oh it's Diego and Cheska. Come inside. Did you guys eat already? We still have food here." Savannah ushered them in to the living room.
"We ate before coming here. Did you guys have the materials?" Diego responded in which Valkyrie and Savannah nodded their head. "Great! Shall we start?"
"Sure sure." Everyone responded and went out of the house in different directions. The men went out to get the supplies in the car while the women went out to the back garden to check where they could start their set up.
"Since Jillyanna loves sakura tree, we bought artificial ones and we can probably set it up first." Savannah informed Cielo, Sky and Jenny.
"It will be full moon tonight. Why don't we put on some small light bulbs instead of the huge lamp? Don't you think it's better?" Jenny asked their opinion which made the women looked at her differently.
"Have you been reading some mangas? How did you know these kinds of things?" Cielo teased the young woman making Jenny roll her eyes.
"It's not difficult to figure out." Jenny stated which was a clear insult to Cielo. "Sometimes, you need to think of other things. Don't just keep thinking about your husband."
"Hey! You little brat! Where did you learn that?" Cielo slung her hand on Jenny's shoulder and tickled her waist.
"Wait. Stop! Stop it sis! I will die!"
"Then you'll die laughing."
The atmosphere was really cheerful around them and Savannah was thankful that she met human like them. Being in the military, all she had was the negativity of the world. Bloodbath everywhere and she had killed thousands of people if not hundreds.
"Jillyanna is really lucky to meet all of you." Savannah commented while watching them interact.

"She's lucky to meet you too. Someone could finally understand her when it comes to justice and fights." Sky retorted which made Savannah smiled.
When the men came back with different size of boxes, Jenny was teary-eyed from all the tickles she got from Cielo.
"Alright. Let's get this started." Cielo cheerfully said and picked the artificial sakura tree.
They weren't worried about the sun since they were setting up the event at the back of the house where the shadow of the tall house covered them.
They placed the artificial trees in different areas while Jenny and Valkyrie put on the small lights around the tree to give it a great view at night.
They rented a catering service which would be responsible for the tables and chairs. As for the food, they would always cook for themselves.
Long silk ribbons were tied between trees to give it an ambiance of gifting someone. When the catering service finished setting up the tables and chairs, it was already noon.
The sun was high up in the sky, so they took this time to rest and eat their lunch. Seeing how busy they were, Auntie Fei and Auntie Sisi cooked delicious meal for their lunch break.
"Jillyanna would be very surprise later." Auntie Fei commented while looking at the view in the backyard.
Diego took a picture of it and sent it to Travis. "It's noon already. We're almost done here. Is Jillyanna awake?"
Seeing that it was Diego who sent him a message, Travis opened the message, replied and deleted it.
"Are we leaving now?" Jillyanna asked him when she got out of the shower and dried her hair. "By the way, you told me earlier that it is your college classmate who owns this hotel. Did you tell him about what happened to one of his employees?"

Travis nodded his head. "I did and he told me that he knew. However, I don't want to interfere with how he deal with his employees."
"That's fine. I just find it sad that her salary will be deducted for something she didn't have any control."
Travis walked towards her and took the hair dryer so that he can dry her hair for her. "This is also out of your control. Let's just hope that what happened last night won't happen again."
"Hn."
Jillyanna couldn't stop herself for worrying about that woman though. She seemed young but when Jillyanna received the paper and pen last night to fill in the hotel form, she saw the thick callus of the girl's hands. Life must have been very difficult for her.
"You are worrying about her again." Travis spoke behind her.
"I can't help it."
"You really have a soft heart."
And since she couldn't rest her heart, Jillyanna asked the daytime manager to hand in a letter to Cayenne before they checked out from the hotel.
The manager bowed his head and places the letter on his chest pocket for him to find it easier when Cayenne arrived.
There was still a long day and the preparation wasn't done yet. Instead of going home, Travis decided to visit J Entertainment to pass their time.
"It's been a while since we last came here together." Jillyanna uttered when Travis parked the car.
"I agree. Today, I have some matters that needed to be discusses immediately. Would you like to look around?"
"Hn. It's fine with me."
While they had a stop over at J Entertainment, at 2 o'clock, Jackie arrived in Jillyanna's house with Vincent. They soon resume their task and continued decorating the backyard.
They put on a small ramp as a stage and draped a long pink and white curtains to make it look cute and pretty.
There were glittering letters of love and their names were written as well. A projector was placed on the side since they will be showing different video clips and pictures of Jillyanna and Travis later.
There were big scented candles inside a glass which Jenny placed on the side of each artificial tree. They will be using it as well as the small series lights to illuminate the place later.
With the help of everyone, it didn't take long for them to finish decorating the backyard and make it look romantic.
"This is perfect!" Cielo murmured to praise their work. "It's really lovely."
"Of course it is." Jenny retorted before going back inside the house.
"Time to cook! Alright everyone, let's discuss the food that we'll eat." Sky led them all inside and they went back to the kitchen to think of the dishes they would make.

Sod's Law (Dropped)
This fiction has been dropped, you're more than welcome to read it anyway (there is sort of an ending). But you have been warned... Sod's law is a more extreme version of Murphy's law. While Murphy's law says that anything that can go wrong, will go wrong (eventually), Sod's law requires that it always goes wrong with the worst possible outcome. For example, concepts such as "bad fortune will be tailored to the individual" and "good fortune will occur in spite of the individual's actions" are sometimes given as examples of Sod's law in action. This would broaden Sod's law to a general sense of being "mocked by fate". In these aspects it is similar to some definitions of irony, particularly the irony of fate. - Definitions of Sod's Law on Wikipedia. The protagonist, as many before them, and many who followed, thought they were just entering a VRMMORPG (Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing-Game). Unbeknownst to them however, was a short paragraph in the Terms & Conditions, that, upon agreement, would actually transport them to a fantasy world, loosely based on the game they thought they were entering. - Something anyone could be forgiven for, no-one reads them after all. In this new world, they discover that people are born with “Traits”, a System recognised, ability, skill, or talent, that they are born with. Sod's Law was not a trait they, or anyone else for that matter, would want. Pure madness follows. Yup, this is about a character transferred to a fantasy game-world with the worst luck imaginable. This is my first fiction so I apologise for any grammar and spelling mistakes that may be made. Hopefully it is readable, and if so please tell me! But if it's not, also tell me, but in a constructive way if at all possible? Due to the nature of the “Trait” the story will be dark in places, with plenty of gore and profanity, hence the tags. There may also be scenes of a sexual nature, but nothing full on – sorry guys but you'll have to go elsewhere for that.
