Chasing After My Wife Chapter 341

Half an hour past four, Jillyanna and Travis finally went back to their room so that they can prepare for their dinner.
Jillyanna didn't want it to become formal and stuffy dinner so she chose a cute set of clothes but still warm and comfortable for her.
She chose a loose white jacket with a black outline of a bunny print in front. The jacket itself had a golden chain which looks like an attached necklace. She paired her jacket with a black skirt which was two inches above her knees and a black stocking at that. She didn't want to wear high heels so she chose a black ankle boots that has a hidden two inches wedge inside.
She tied her hair into a high ponytail and placed a red silk ribbon as an accessory. She looked younger and cuter with her get up.
"Do I look fine in these?" Jillyanna asked Travis as she turned around for him to see.
"You look beautiful even without clothes." Travis teased which made Jillyanna puff her cheeks and pout her lips.
"You are awful. I dress myself for you and yet you don't appreciate it." she crossed her arms in front of her chest, giving him a cold shoulder.
Travis smiled and walked towards her. He placed his hands around her waist and pulled her closer. "I appreciate it. No matter what type of clothes you wear, you are still more beautiful than the clothes."
"You really know how to use your words properly." Jillyanna rolled her eyes and kissed his chin. "And when are you planning to put on your clothes?"
"When my wife is putting it on me." Travis answered cheekily knowing that Jillyanna won't do it. She knew well enough that she was can seduce him even if it was just dressing him which was why she wouldn't do it.

Jillyanna swatted his hands away from her waist and pulled herself few steps away from him. "I'll go talk to Gabriel and Winter. Dress yourself and I'll come back to check on you."
Travis didn't move or answer her. He just looked at her without any intention of moving. Left with no choice, Jillyanna came to him and placed a light kiss on his lips. "Be good so that we can have our date, hn?" she whispered with a trace of threat.
"Okay."
Travis chuckled while he changed his clothes which Jillyanna chose for him.
On the other hand, Jillyanna went to Gabriel so that she could inform him that they will be going out.
"I'll leave Winter in your hands. In any case, Shein will stay here for the mean time. If you need anything, just let him know." Jillyanna spoke to him like they were friends for a long time.
She really cares for Travis' friends since Travis cares for them. The only time that she hated his friends was when Diego and Cheska spoiled her plan to run away.
Now, she could only be thankful for what they did. If it weren't for them, she wouldn't give Travis a chance and she wouldn't find this happiness as well.
"Enjoy your date. Don't worry about us here." Gabriel responded which brought Jillyanna back to reality. They talked for few minutes more before she left and went to Winter's room.
Actually, she wanted Winter and Gabriel to go on a date, too. However, they haven't fixed their relationship and she didn't want to force them either. As much as possible, she wanted them to spend time together and heal their hearts, little by little, along the way.
Jillyanna opened Winter's door slowly to see if she was around. She found her at the window, taking care of a pot of rose that Brown gave her earlier that morning when they planted the sunflower seedlings at the back.

She didn't moved directly to her to avoid startling Winter. She waited for her to notice of her presence instead.
Winter sense someone coming in so she spun around and saw Jillyanna, dressed up cutely, standing in the middle of her room.
"You are going somewhere?" she asked her as she put down the scissors that she used to cut the dried leaves of the plant.
Jillyanna nodded her head and showed her a message that she typed earlier. "Travis and I will go out. The same goes for Hawk, Savannah, Valkyrie and Brown. If you need something, just ask Shein since he will be staying here for the meantime while we're gone. You can send him a message to let him know."
After reading it, Winter smiled and nodded her head in acknowledgement. "Don't worry about me. I will be fine here. Go and enjoy your date."
Jillyanna patted Winter's head gently like a good child and smiled at her, even though Winter was actually few years older than her.
She showed her few more messages before she finally felt relieved. She went out of her room and found Travis standing on the hallway with her bag.
"Are you settled now?" he asked her while handing her the cute fluffy sling bag.
"Hn. I'm happy." she opened her bag and saw his wallet but there were no traces of their phones since he's carrying it for her.
Both of them went down to the living room and saw Shein talking to someone on his laptop. Who else could it be? No one else but Riley!
"Sis! I miss you so much!" Riley exclaimed when she caught sight of Jillyanna standing behind her boyfriend. "You look so cute today? Are you going somewhere? Going on a date? Ahh! I wanna go on a date too. Hey! Shein, let's go on a date when I get back, okay?" She was so cheerful and lovely making Jillyanna smile happily.
"Come back soon." Jillyanna responded to her. "When you're back, I'll have Shein spend all his time with you."
"That's a promise. I'll remember this." Riley turned to Travis and spoke. "Big bro, you must also keep this promise. Both of you should ont let Shein work when I get home."
Travis just smiled and nodded his head. "I promise."

Kind’s Kiss
MAGIC DOESN'T KILL, NOT BY ITSELF. IT NEEDS A LITTLE HELP. Jessica DeRidder is a substitute teacher and mage in hiding, her daughter Ellen a killer on the run. Their next job lands the mother-daughter team in Hellhole, a small town in the middle of nowhere. All they need to do is their job. For Mom to identify the problem, and for Ellen to... fix it. Easy. Simple. But not this time. The pair find themselves caught in the struggle between the Man-in-White and the Wicked Witch of the West. A mysterious image and the theft of a deadly flower lead the pair to a score of dead prisoners, magical drug dealers, and red-eyed assassins falling from the sky. And somehow it all seems to be related to Ellen's murky past. All Ellen wants to do is do her homework, eat ice cream, and protect her newfound friends (not necessarily in that order). She'll go all-in, guns blazing. But when the smoke clears there may be nothing left but a stranger's past and a lonely future. --- 'Kind's Kiss' is a light, modern-day fantasy, easy on the magic, heavy on the snark. Though complete it is still a work in progress. One reviewer described it as 'Buffy meets Sabrina, as done by Tarantino'. I'm still not sure if I should consider that a compliment or hire a hitman :-)
