Chasing After My Wife Chapter 337

Brown brought the sunflower seedlings that Jillyanna asked him to bring. He received a message from her yesterday that she wanted to have breakfast with them together.
As a good friend and a doctor at that, he didn't want to agitate or refuse her knowing how bad her heart condition.
Valkyrie and Shein also came with two little succulent that she asked them to bring. The plants were just an excuse to make them come over as well as the breakfast. In reality, she just want to tease Brown. If Brown knew this, he would be so angry to even spat a mouthful of blood.
It's Saturday so Travis and everyone else didn't have to go to work. She rise up early and prepared their change of clothes as usual.
"Can't we sleep for a while? I want to hug you for a little longer. I really really really miss you." Travis mumbled while still sprawling on the bed. He was looking at her rummaging through their clothes to find something to wear.
"You can hug me all you want later but now, we have to get up."
"Why are we rising so early?"
"It's not early anymore my dear husband. It's almost eight in the morning. Calhoun and Dr. Anderson will be here any minute from now."
"What that got to do with us?" Travis sulked and complain since it has nothing to do with him why Calhoun and Anderson would come.
Jillyanna hang the clothes she chose on the side of the wardrobe and climbed back to the bed. "Rise up already." She placed a gentle kiss on his lips and nipped his lower lip gently before pulling away. "I'm planning to have a good time today. And, we will have breakfast together with everyone."

Travis slid one of his hands under her blouse and caressed her baby bump. "What exactly is it your planning?"
"You'll find out if you come down with me." Jillyanna stated, amused at her own plan.
They took a shower together but Travis was still unhappy because he didn't get to spend a long time with her.
When they came out, everyone was present and was waiting for them at the dining table. Jillyanna's eyes spotted Brown immediately.
'Why am I feeling a chill with her gaze?' Brown thought but he quickly throw it at the back of his mind. If he trusted his instinct, he could have saved himself.
"Sis, I placed the succulent at the back garden. Brown also placed the sunflowers seedlings there." Shein informed her in case she forgot.
"Thank you. I needed something to do while I'm here." Jillyanna responded happily. "By the way, Riley told me that she's coming home next week but Jackie's bruises weren't gone yet. She'd be mad if she finds out what happened."
"That's what I'm worried about." Shein mumbled.
"No need to worry about her. Jackie's bruises will probably be gone already but her wounds aren't. If Riley wants to meet her, you can just use the excuse of school matters." Brown suggested. "But, we will be lying to her."
"If she finds out, let it be. Let her know the truth." Travis spoke which made everyone sigh. In the end, they had to prepare to see an angry Riley.
As they ate, Jillyanna noticed that Winter was silently eating her food and would sometimes place some other dishes on Gabriel's plate. In her mind, there's no point in hating him. It will be just a waste of energy and time for her.

Since he wanted to stay, might as well live together harmoniously.
Their breakfast wasn't quiet but it can still be considered peaceful since no one was holding a grudge against anyone.
Winter and Gabriel might not have the same relationship as before but they were working on fixing what was broken between them. If they couldn't be lovers, they could still be friends.
Jillyanna placed a pork cutlet on Travis' plate with a smile. "Let's go on a date."
Travis paused his fork midair and looked towards his wife. Not just him, everyone was surprised and looked at her.
Jillyanna felt the questioning gaze of everyone so she raised her chin and threw a look of defiance. "What's so surprising about me dating my husband? If you are envious, go on a date as well."
Travis could only chuckle at her response and fed her with his food. "Hn. Let's go on a date."
Brown's mouth twitched and he rolled his eyes like how Jillyanna usually does. "I guess we were called to come over so we can eat dog food."
Valkyrie grinned beside him and took hold of his hand. "Let's have a date, too?"
"Are you--" Brown was just about scold him when his eyes caught someone. Not even waiting for anyone to notice, he slid off his chair and hide under the table. 'What the f*ck is Dr. Anderson doing here?! Why didn't anyone let me know?!' He cursed silently under the table.
Valkyrie was surprised with what happened as well. He was happy that his father came but someone was missing. He looked under the table and found Brown sitting with grievances.
Jillyanna was holding herself to throw a fit of laughter. She didn't expect that Brown would react that way and it was fun to see it.
"Where's Brown?" Dr. Anderson immediately asked without even looking for his own son!
Brown who heard his name didn't make a single peep under the table. He was turning himself mute.
Jillyanna didn't cooperate though. She messed up with him and divulged his whereabout. "Brown, didn't you find it yet? It's fine. Just let the cleaners look for it later."
Everyone : ???
How come they didn't know that Brown was looking for something? However, Valkyrie and Travis knew.
Jillyanna was clearly teasing Brown! She was doing it on purpose!
Brown came out of the table with a serious face. "I'll look for it again." He looked so natural but his eyes were throwing fireballs at Jillyanna who just smiled cheekily at him.
