Chasing After My Wife Chapter 320

Since they went out to shop, the three of them ended eating lunch outside. Travis was very careful in choosing a restaurant for Jillyanna's sake. He didn't want to compromise her health specially that she has a baby and a fragile heart.
"It's been awhile since we had our last meal outside." Jillyanna mumbled when Travis helped her seat on the chair.
Travis chose a Chinese restaurant since Jillyanna wanted to eat some dumplings. Since they didn't have anything to do after shopping, they decided to enjoy their lunch together instead.
"We'd like to have a double hotpot, shrimp with vermicelli and garlic, three servings of dumplings, spring rolls and fried rice." Travis informed the attendant since Jillyanna and Valkyrie was busy chatting with each other.
"I'll get your food ready sir." the attendant left with his paper and sent it to their chef in the kitchen.
"Maybe you'd find better ideas through manga." Jillyanna told Valkyrie while scrolling on his phone screen. "This one, I've read it when I was still in college. It has a great content."
"Do you still have your copy of this?"
"I left all my manga in my apartment. If you want, we can stop there later and get those books."
"Are you sure?"
"Hn. Just make sure you return them to me because those are my treasured items."
Listening to their conversation, Travis felt a sudden pain on his temple. He didn't know what to say. A woman like her was actually telling Valkyrie what to do in a homo relationship. It's really weird!
"Why are you the one advising him? Don't forget that you are a woman." Travis told her with a glare. "Let him explore this field on his own. He chose this himself anyway."

"Hey RV! Don't be so mean." Jillyanna retorted. "Since I know...well, since I've read some things about this, I should just let him know. Why should they waste the best resources they have?"
"Correct. Since I've got a walking encyclopedia in this matter, why not ask." Valkyrie chided in making Travis sigh helplessly.
After ten minutes, all their orders were placed on the table. Valkyrie prepared the base for their hotpot and waited for it to boil.
They talked about different things while Jillyanna started eating the dumplings that she craved so much.
Meanwhile, someone was having a bad mood for lunch.
"So, you're the trainee that our young warden took a fancy?" one of the female students who had a crush on Vincent came to face Jackie.
She never thought that she'd experience this ridiculous plot but, right in front of her was a jealous woman with her obsequious followers.
She'd seen this girl multiple times whenever Vincent showed up. She's in her second year in the Police Academy and other students didn't want to cross paths with her since she had powerful backing.
Jackie put down her spoon and fork before she looked at the woman. She crossed her arms over her chest while looking at her with disdain. "I don't get what you're saying."
"Playing dumb, aren't we?" the girl snickered but Jackie wasn't affected at all.
"It's not 'we', it's just you. Don't include me in your circle." Jackie retorted before pushing the plate away from her. She lost her appetite while looking to the woman.
Some students who heard Jackie's statement stifled their laughters. It was the first time that the princess in Police Academy found someone who wasn't afraid of talking back to her.
"You! ..you.."

"Hm? What about me? Are you so stupid that you don't even know how to talk now?" Jackie taunted her. In any case, it was clear that she didn't start this mess and it was captured by the cameras installed in the cafeteria.
The woman was fuming with anger from embarrassment. When Jackie stood up to walk away from the place, she reached out her hand to grab Jackie's hair.
To her surprise, Jackie spun around immediately and threw an icy glare on her. "Don't you dare touch my hair with your filthy hands."
The woman that everyone called a 'princess' because of her haughty attitude, step back from Jackie's vengeful eyes and fell on the floor with her butt.
Embarrassment, fear and anger reflected in her eyes for few seconds while she watched Jackie leave the cafeteria.
Later that afternoon, Jackie went back to her dorm only to find Vincent leaning on a metal pole at the waiting shed.
She didn't say anything and just ignored him as if he didn't exist.
"Jackie wait!" Vincent called out to her but she refused to stop or even throw a look at him. "I heard that Jessie fell on the floor because of you."
'Oh? First name basis?' she thought mockingly while keeping a straight face in front of him. She stopped on her track and looked at him. "So what if she fell? I can make her fall however I want. If you are so worried of your little girlfriend, tell her to stop showing her face in front of me. I found her so annoying and disgusting."
Right after saying her piece, she turned around and walked away from him. She didn't wait for him to respond or say anything as she climbed up the stairs to her room on the third floor.
Vincent stood outside on the same spot while waiting for the light on her dorm room to be turned on. He waited but it didn't light at all.
"Sigh. She must be really angry now. Did I make the wrong approach again?" Vincent asked himself as he go back to his parked car. He thought that Jackie was upset because she didn't turn on the light. He didn't know that she was already held captive in a different room.
"Looking so brazen and haughty. Look at you now, can you fight?" The academy 'princess' was holding a whip on her hand while eyeing Jackie from head to toe. "You should have known not to mess with me."
"Tsk!" Jackie snickered without saying a word.
