The Police Regional Director was still massaging his forehead from the troubles his subordinates made when he received a request for search and arrest warrant.

At first he was confused but when he read the content, all the colors of his face were drained and he aged a couple more years in an instant from the stress.

He couldn't even remember how those scumbags became leaders. He didn't know in which aspect they made a mistake to let those monsters lead several departments. All he could do was to thank god for keeping the other officers pure and dedicated to their work.

Without any hesitation, the regional director approved the request for search and arrest warrant.

Lucian and the other officers were even stupefied when the received the file because it was sent directly from the regional director's e-mail.

"Did you send it to him?" The chief asked with a horrified expression. His family wasn't safe yet and Lucian already took action.

Lucian frowned and opened his computer. "I don't remember sending this to the regional director." he murmured to himself, still confused with what was going on.

He couldn't get an answer to himself but Jillyanna soon gave him one. "I sent the letter directly to the regional director's email. Tell chief not to worry because his family is safe now. Take action immediately because or those people will escape." This was what contained her message.

Lucian informed their chief who heaved a sigh of relief after how many hours. They formed their troops immediately and drove towards the laboratory that Brown monitored.

While the world was in chaos, Brown and Valkyrie were almost holding their breath when they saw the people in black mask barged in to their room. The both of them were watching their movements through Valkyrie's phone.

"None in this room." one of the masked men announced who came our from Valkyrie's room.

"No one here either." the man was from Brown's room.

A person came running towards them and spoke about the shoes found at the backyard. The buff person, who seemed like the leader, called someone and asked them to check the items in the backyard.

"Positive. It seemed like they escape from the backyard."

"Search all nooks and cranny of this city. They shouldn't have gone far yet." announced the buff man.

They all rushed outside which gave Brown a momentary relief because the buff man still stood in their living room. He spun himself around to observe the place. His eyes landed on the comfort room's direction.

Brown's breathing hitched and he felt suffocated again. "What are you afraid of? I am here to protect you." Valkyrie whispered beside him and planted a light kiss on his temple.

Brown didn't say anything. They watched the man got inside the bathroom but there was no one inside. Disappointed, the man left and jogged out of the place.

Valkyrie observed the place through the camera for a moment before they decided to go out. They remained in the bathroom floor, avoiding to go out of the place in case those people were still around and were just waiting for their shadow to come.

Brown received a message from Lucian and Winter that they will now commence their search and arrest warrant mission. The policemen will detain those criminals while the special task force will detain the big wigs. They couldn't just let them stay in ordinary jails knowing the crime they committed. It would be troublesome if they escaped again.

The black men arrived with their guns and knives, strolling around the area to protect the people inside. It was this scene that Winter saw when she arrived with her troops.

She didn't even got the chance to speak when the masked men opened fire. Left with no choice, Winter took cover behind her car and opened fire when she got the chance. She opened the trunk and got her sword.

The scene in front of her was so chaotic that it gave her excitement and thrill. Removing her sword from its scabbard, Winter launched an attack, slicing the enemies in their wrist and thighs to disable them.

As usual, her fluid movements struck the men out of their wits from being mesmerized. She let out a laugh of disdain before getting rid of their arms from their bodies.

A shrill of cry from pain echoed around the place but no one dared to come out. Lucian and his colleagues also arrived at the place but all they could see were bodies, lying on the ground, tainted with blood as they groaned in pain.

"God! What a mess? Who dared open fire when we didn't even arrive yet?" It was officer Nik who was standing beside Lucian. He was covering his nose to block the stench of blood wafting in the air.

When they got inside the building, there were few people inside and all of them were kneeling in fear. A sexy woman with her black crop top was standing in front of them, brandishing her sword like it wasn't anything harmful.

"You are so late!" She rolled her eyes and turned around to face Lucian and his men.

"Winter? Why are you here? What's with that outfit?" Lucian asked her consecutively with a raised brow.

"I am from the military, remember?" she scoffed at him even though he was Jillyanna's family. "Come and arrest these people already."

The Chairman fainted on the spot and his son carried him to the ambulance. Even so, they were both handcuffed and attached to the hospital bed. They won't be able to escape. Officer Nik accompanied them together with another police officer.

Men and women, they were all arrested and sent to the station for questioning. All evidences were obtained and the laboratory was documented as proof. There were still children alive inside and some adults were thin and dying, still they helped them out and brought them to the hospital for recovery.

The last doctor who seemed younger than anyone else approached Lucian with his hands being cuffed behind him.

"Can I see my niece one last time?" that was his only request.
