Early morning of the next day, as she prepared herself for another battle at the company, Jillyanna received a phone call from Lucian. She already knew what it would be about but she still picked it up.

"Bro?" she inquired while closing the buttons of her blouse in side the bathroom.

Lucian didn't take his time and told her the news immediately. "We caught him last night. It so happened that he caused a ruckus and the townsfolk helped us capture him."

"That's good." Jillyanna stated, nonchalant and bored. She sounded like it wasn't a good news to her at all which made Lucian's doubt increase.

"Yanna, he seemed out of himself but he confessed to his crimes. I just want to know though, did you involve yourself in capturing him?" Lucian asked her directly knowing that Jillyanna would still hear his doubts in his voice.

"I would have killed him if I really want to involve myself. Do you think I'd give him a chance after what happened to Travis? At the same time, you once told me not to kill anyone." She was playing with her words. Lucian would, of course, believe her lies. In their eyes, even though she's cold and ruthless, they still think that she's good and kind.

In actual truth, Jillyanna was indeed involved but she didn't want to kill anyone anymore. She didn't want to taint his name and didn't want to let his child feel the rush of excitement from killing the people you hate the most.

She had stopped being merciless. As much as possible, she would avoid getting blood on her hands.

"I believe what you said. Given your strength and skills, it is easy for you to kill him. I'm glad you didn't. Anyway, he confessed already so that's what matters the most." Lucian spoke on the other line just at the same time that Jillyanna finished changing her outfit. "You will be busy again today. Make sure to eat on time." He reminded her before ending the phone call.

Jillyanna didn't say anything. She knew they were worried about her but she didn't have a choice.

When she got out of the room, Auntie Fei arrived with her food as well as additional food for the two young girls. Jillyanna told her about them so that she can prepare their meals, too.

"Mistress, are you only eating that small amount of food?" Riley asked her after seeing that Jillyanna only have a toasted bread, egg, bacon, cucumber, ham, milk and chicken-mushroom soup in front of her. There were plenty of vitamin bottles, too.

Jillyanna nodded her head to indicate agreement since she was still chewing her food. She swallowed it after few seconds before answering her with words. "I am not allowed to eat a lot during pregnancy or my baby will grow big. I want my child to have the average weight so I can give birth through normal delivery. I don't like to get a C-section. So, I can only eat this much. Oh! At the same time, stop calling me mistress already. You can always call me big sis like you did in the past."

"Okay." Riley agreed without any hesitation. Whatever she wanted to call Jillyanna didn't matter as long as she got the chance to see her and ensure her safety.

"Are we staying here to look after your husband or are we coming to the company with you?" Jackie asked Jillyanna before eating the hotdog on her plate.

"You are coming with me to the company." Jillyanna answered her. "Hawk and other guards will be staying over. Also my mother will come later."

"Wow! We will finally see your family." Riley exclaimed cheerfully since she had been so excited to see the kind of people that took care of Jillyanna.

While they were taking their breakfast, Savannah and Hawk came over with a new clothes for the girls.

"I thought that you might need this." Savannah handed them the clothes that she placed inside the paper bags.

"Thanks a lot!" Riley responded to her cheerfully and received the bags. Jackie just bowed to her silently to express her gratitude.

The two of them went inside the bathroom to change their clothes.

"Now I know how to point who is who. Jackie didn't say much but Riley looked so energetic." Savannah stated while walking towards the couch and sat on it.

Jillyanna chuckled at her observation. "Don't let their acts get into you. Riley can act cheerful whenever she wants and so is Jackie. If they act cheerful together or if they stayed silent together, you wouldn't know."

"You are so great Jillyanna. You are not just wealthy but you care about others, too." Savannah responded to her with a sweet smile. "I'm sure Travis would be very proud of you."

As if on cue to her words, Travis' monitor sounded in consecutive beeping and he was convulsing on his bed.

"Travis! Travis? Call the doctor immediately!" Jillyanna shouted and was already panicking, she didn't know what to do. Her tears started falling again with the thought of losing him.

The doctors came immediately and checked on him. They asked Jillyanna to go out first and asked someone to calm her specially that she had a baby in her.

"Please do your best to save him. I'm begging you doc. I'll pay no matter how much it will cost me." Jillyanna cried so much as she clutched on the doctor's white gown.

"We will do our best Mrs. Madrigal." The doctor told her and went back inside to see what was going on. Travis had two doctors and three nurse to make sure that he will be properly treated.

To everyone's disappointment, Travis was sent to the Intensive Care Unit for monitoring. He had to undergo another tests before they will declare him as patient under comatose.

Seeing what was happening to her husband, Jillyanna's face paled and she fainted in Savannah's warm arms.
