After two hours of commotion, Lucian came to the meeting room to inform her about their investigations. She handed Jillyanna a flash drive and left right after.

Almost hundreds of employees were escorted to jail for further interrogation and investigation. This event was like a tornado swiping the media and all industries. It was because Travis has a lot of connections and they always wait for any new things from him that could benefit them. The reason why Jillyanna wasn't bombarded with reporters was also because of his connection.

However, they came over to J Entertainment official website since they knew it would always be Wynwyn who handles such matter.

Those people that sent spies over to Venus Plaza had cold sweat running down their spine. They didn't expect that the new CEO would be ruthless and would pull everyone who abused the company resources.

It was the first time that the police department was so crowded. They didn't know where to put the people they arrested and there were family members who came to check the employees, too.

Amidst the messy environment, a certain someone excused himself to use the comfort room. Ever since he was caught, he refused to talk and kept denying his involvement with the accident.

When no one was watching him, above the comfort room was an air duct that connects to all the air conditioner of the office building, he used it to escape and leave the chaotic scene. It was none other than Mr. Guevarra.

When David noticed that he wasn't back from the comfort room, it was already too late. He was gone from the station and out to the crowded city.

"Shit! Shit! Shit!" David cursed and looked for Lucian immediately. He also asked Officer Nik to put a wanted notification online about the escapee. "Lucian, Mr. Guevarra escaped!"

"What?! How? When?" Lucian immediately asked someone to check on their CCTV monitor. The last time they saw him was when he got inside the comfort room. "Coordinate with the other stations and release the notice immediately. I will inform Jillyanna in case he'll come after her."

Jillyanna was still inside the meeting room and they were almost done with the last project when a call from Lucian came through.

Lucian told her about the news and reminded her to be careful. "Heh. What a brave soul!" her tone was clear sarcasm and they felt their scalp tingle when they saw her smile coldly. "He actually escaped? Nice! Looks like I've been very lenient."

'Lenient? You call that lenient?!' Everyone wanted to ask her this question but they remained silent. They didn't want to get involve in her clean up drive at all.

Jillyanna ended the call and called Hawk who was at the hospital watching over Travis with Jillyanna's mother.

"Don't let anyone come near Travis until I get back. Check his doctor and check all the materials they are carrying before letting them in." Jillyanna informed Hawk as soon as possible. "Hn..Yes..That's a fact...Alright..."

They didn't know what happened but looking at her scary face, it must be serious and that involved Travis.

Jillyanna finished her phone call and returned her attention back to the meeting. "Let's finish this last project so we can take a rest. Perhaps some of you would want to save your people." She added sarcastically that no one wanted to answer at all.

Because of what happened, it was the first time that the company was so quite like they were mourning over their co-workers. They all worked silently but you could still here whispers here and there.

"It is really not a good thing to anger a kind and good person. Just look at our new CEO, she was still cute and cheerful when she came with sir Travis last time. But now, she was so cold that I can't seem to find the old her."

"I can understand her though. She just got married after all the hardships they faced together and now sir Travis is at the hospital right after they register their marriage. I think anyone who goes through such event will be cold like her."

"True. She has to fight back for sir Travis and for herself and the baby. If she won't do anything, they will just target her."

"What she did was also a good thing. Who would've thought that we have many unscrupulous people here. We worked diligently and they were just accepting bribes and sold company properties. I wonder why sir Travis didn't do anything about it."

"He must have thought about their families which was why he didn't do anything to them. Opposite to him, Madam just experienced a horrible thing and that person worked in this company. Even Miss Eva was almost sent to her death. It would be difficult for her to trust the employees here."

"I felt sad for her. However, I am a bit worried. Does she know how to run a business?"

"Let's just wait and see. I know she won't do anything that would crumble the company down to the gravel."

Employees talk about many things about the situation of the company but Jillyanna didn't care about their opinion.

After the last proposal, she left the meeting room immediately while calling her mother that she will be back at the hospital soon. Savannah was following behind her while observing their surroundings.

"Will she be alright? I heard that she's staying at the hospital." Mr. Sandoval murmured but the other still caught his words.

"Even if she's cold and merciless, I hope she will be fine." Mr. Albert replied to Diego's father. "Why don't you inquire your son how Travis is doing?"

"Jillyanna isn't allowing anyone to get near her husband. She's putting up her walls against everyone."

They could only sigh deeply for her as they watched her disappearing back at the hallway. They felt sad for the employees who lost their job but they also understood her point. No matter how they turn the world, her decision was right.
