Everyone was beyond shocked from what they saw. They knew Jillyanna because she had been all over the platforms of social media and recently she just resigned from being a singer. Not even in their dreams did they imagine her to be their next CEO.

"What the hell is this woman doing here?!" one of the shareholders cursed while pointing at her. He turned to Thomas with glaring eyes and disbelief. "You want me to be under this woman?! Are you kidding me? I will never follow this girl who knows nothing but singing! Change her or I will pull out my shares!"

"Go ahead and pull out your shares. I don't intend to work with you." Jillyanna replied to him in her most boring tone. She knew who the man was, after all she did a lot of diggings yesterday for her plan to clean up Travis' empire.

"Hmp! What an obnoxious woman! I am leaving this meeting room!" he snickered at her with a kick on his chair. "This company will fail in the hands of this woman." he commented to everyone inside the room.

"Either I fail or not is no longer your business. Get out now." Jillyanna had her chin on her palm while sizing the man up and down. "Why are you still standing there?"

Embarrassed and angered by her words the man left without any words. It didn't affect Jillyanna and she still sat calmly on her seat with same cold expression.

"Just because you got married doesn't mean you can walk freely on us! I don't want to work in this company anymore! Thomas, I am really disappointed in you right now." another man left with rude words towards her but Jillyanna remained stationary on her seat.

"It's really a bad choice this time. I had been intending to leave a long time ago but Travis made me stay, if it isn't your son, then I'm leaving." another shareholder left with his assistant following him.

"How about you Mr. Suarez? We don't get along personally so I bet you don't want to work with me?" Jillyanna pointed out Cheska's father. Even though Cheska and her had fixed their relationship, her father hadn't apologized to her yet.

Mr. Suarez looked at her and sighed deeply. "I apologized for my rude behavior towards you. I talked with Cheska and things were clarified. I don't intend to make things difficult for you at the expanse of my business."

"Looks like you are sensible." she turned to face everyone and looked at them. "Who still want to leave?" She was asking them like it was the simplest question in the world. "Think about it carefully cause you will be dealing with me until my husband wakes up."

After five minutes, the shareholders remained seated and was observing her. She didn't mind their scrutinizing gaze at all. Another five minutes passed and no one stood up from their seat.

"Savy, send these files to Officer Lucian. These are for the people who left -my parting gift." These words were like a bucket of ice-cold water splashed on to them, making them shiver from her coldness and ruthless behavior.

Savannah worked immediately and sent the files to Lucian's work e-mail address. She knew how much Jillyanna worked on these files just to clean up her husband's company.

Out of twelve shareholders excluding the CEO, only nine people remained after the three people pulled out their shares.

"Oh my god! This woman is cruel! She didn't even give them a way out." a woman among the shareholders spoke.

"I am glad I stayed. I can't imagine myself being..oh my gosh! I just can't believe it." another woman responded to her.

"I didn't know she's this cold." Mr. Suarez commented.

"It was a good thing you apologized to her." Mr. Sandoval whispered to his future relative. After all, Cheska and Diego had been in a relationship for a long time already.

Jillyanna opened her laptop which was the laptop that Travis always use. "I have checked some project proposals that Travis haven't worked on yet. I'd like you to check it and if you have any questions, feel free to ask."

At her words, Savannah sent them the files since she got all their e-mails from working with Travis for a long time already.

"These are good choices." Mr. Sandoval stated while browsing through the files that Savannah sent. "However, if we go for these projects, we better look for another shareholder who can invest funds for these."

"That is not an issue." Jillyanna stated plainly that stunned everyone. "A new shareholder will attend the meeting next week."

"If that's the case, let's discuss the first project proposal." Mr. Sandoval responded.

They started talking about the project proposals like nothing happened at all. Everytime a project was approved after a thorough discussion, Savannah will call the company who proposed it to further discuss the details for cooperation and contract signing. They managed to finish two projects before lunch and all of them went out for a break.

"What do you want to eat?" Thomas asked Jillyanna when they were out of the meeting room.

"Don't worry about me Dad. Auntie Fei sent me food earlier already. I don't dare eat anything outside without Travis." Jillyanna responded as they walked towards the CEO's office.

Thomas nodded his head happily and smiled at her. "You are doing great. I am so proud of you. I'm sure Travis will be happy, too."

Her throat constricted from pain whenever she remembered her husband lying on a hospital bed. Her lashes were wet with tears while she tried to stop them from falling.

"Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Just hang in there." Thomas rubbed her back to comfort her.

"Thanks Dad. I will be fine. How about you go home and take a rest? I can manage it here. Don't tire yourself so much."

"Are you sure you'll be fine?"

"Hn. I have Savannah here with me." Jillyanna replied with a faint smile.

"Alright. I'll visit the hospital in a while before going home. If you have any questions, call me anytime." Jillyanna just nodded her head in agreement.
