Chasing After My Wife Chapter 211

The gifts were places on the coffee table and Sky didn't bother opening them. She knew it would be expensive even if they would say it was not.
In any case, she was happy that Jillyanna finally found a man whom she was willing to spend the rest of her life. It was another way to repay Elizabeth for her kindness towards Alex - making sure that her only child was happy and living a good life.
"We were talking about your choice of wedding date." Sky told her, eyes held so much joy and happiness for her.
Jillyanna looked towards Travis to ask for his opinion. "What day and what month? Do you have anything in mind?"
"In my opinion we can have it 2 months from now so that your tummy isn't big yet or we can do it three months after you give birth. I don't want to stress you over this matter."
"Then let's have it two months from now." she agreed immediately without any hesitation. "Wait." she halted her words and looked at her parents. "You mean you agreed that I will get married?"
"Hn. There's no need to reject this marriage. We accepted this long time ago and we were just waiting for this formalities." Alex answered her question. Lucian chuckled seeing his sister's bewildered expression.
"Oh. Okay. Thanks for agreeing." she responded and let out a sigh of relief. Travis couldn't help but smile at her reaction. She even made sure that they agreed to marry him.
"Since you are planning to get married in two months, I'll ask several wedding planners to help us." Cielo interjected before sitting down beside her husband. Lucian put his arm around his waist and hugged her lightly.
"Since Jillyanna is pregnant it won't be good to keep her busy. I can help with the preparation." Winter volunteered herself cheerfully.

"Thank you Miss Avery." Sky responded with a smile.
"Just call me Winter. No need to be formal. We'll become family after all."
Brown came to her side and whispered something which made her look dejected.
"Winter, you still have an important matter at hand. It's fine if you can't help. Just make sure you attend the wedding day." Jillyanna rescued her knowing that her friend was still in the middle of a mission with Brown.
"Right. I'll take a step back this time." she mumbled sadly and looked down on her hand.
Brown rubbed her back to comfort her. On the other hand, Valkyrie was very attentive to this meeting. He was even noting some tips on his phone.
"What are you doing?" Brown asked him in a whisper, keeping his face straight like he wasn't talking to him at all.
Valkyrie showed him his phone, particularly the notes he was typing down. "I need to learn in order to successfully win my father and get your hands for marriage." He was speaking so close to his ear that he could feel his lips caressing his earlobe everytime he opened and closed his mouth.
Brown turned his face abruptly to throw insults at him but because he was so close, when he faced him, their lips touched which sent him an electric shock. He immediately covered his mouth and took a step back.
Cielo saw it and giggled beside Lucian. Hearing her faint laughter, Brown was so embarrassed that he wanted to dig a hole and bury himself.
Valkyrie knew that Cielo was looking at them since she came back from the basement. He placed his index finger on his lips and throw a playful wink at her.
Cielo smiled and nodded her head while making a zipping sign of her lips to indicate that she's keeping it a secret. Nonetheless, Brown was still flustered with what happened.

Gabriel was also paying attention to the meeting. He can learn from it and use it once it was his turn to get married. He looked at Winter who was talking with Savannah but she never throw a glance at him.
Gabriel listened to the discussion once again while observing Winter from his peripheral vision. He always wanted to see her smile but whenever she's with him, she always frown and glare at him. There was never a day that she smiled genuinely at him ever since they met in the military camp.
Jillyanna's parents and Thomas talked about the wedding plan and the budget for wedding which was nulled by Travis. "Don't worry about the budget. It is not an issue."
"But we should at least contribute even if it is a a little bit compared to your wealth." Alex insisted and handed him a card that contained their dowry.
"Dad, I am not looking down on your wealth. However, Jillyanna and I talked about this before already. My money is for her and her money is for our child. How about you save it for your grandchild?" Travis tried to refuse without coming off to be rude or arrogant.
"Okay. If you say so. When the time comes that our grandchild is born, don't refuse this little money."
"Hn. I will certainly accept that for the baby." Travis compromised with them. They talked about several things and had lunch together. Even during lunch, their discussion didn't stop.
"Is Jenny coming tonight?" Jillyanna asked her family since Jenny was still having a class when she informed her about her marriage registration.
"Yup. She said she'll come right after her class." Cielo responded while putting some food on her plate.
Jillyanna just nodded her head and ate the food that Travis placed on her plate. There was no rice at all, most of the food she had were seafood and meat.
"I want to have rice." she complained to him while looking on his plate which had rice on it.
"Just a cup of rice no more than that."
"Hn. 1 cup is fine." she smiled happily at him. "I don't really get big that easily."
"I am not worried about you getting big. I am worried that you won't be able to give birth through normal delivery. You don't like to get a C-section, right?" he spoke to her while placing a scoop of rice on her plate.
"When I give birth, make sure to let me eat a lot." she put a spoonful of food on her mouth and chewed it happily.
"Of course." he answered with a mischievous grin. He leaned closer at her and whispered, "After all, we can burn out whatever you eat during our night exercise."
Jillyanna choked on her food and glared at her with her teary eyes. She was even kicking his legs under the table. Travis gave her a glass of water, rubbing her back to calm her at the same time, holding his laughters in control.
