"Let me give her a call first." Jillyanna excused herself to make a phone call.

"Are you sure? You're going to talk to her?" Travis asked in hesitation. The last she talked with his cousin caused her to become distracted, leading to her kidnapping again. He didn't want that to happen a second time around.

Jillyanna squeezed his hand gently. "I'll be fine. Sooner or later, I will have to face her and settle whatever misunderstanding we have." She added as she dialed a string of familiar numbers.

"Alright. I'll wait here." Travis let go of her hand and watched her walk away from them. He was glad that she's trying to reach out to his cousin. Moreover, they will become family soon and he didn't want any internal enmity between his family.

"It's a good thing that she's starting to rely on you despite her strength and skills." Savannah mentioned as she watched Jillyanna leave from where they stood.

"Her external strength and bravery was her defense mechanism. She had always been fighting alone. However, from the time I stayed with her, I found how fragile she is. I am afraid that I'll break her without knowing. I've always been careful not to hurt her again." Travis answered. His eyes held the most sincere gaze and honest love for the woman he chose to give his heart.

"You don't have to be very cautious around her to the point she'd think you are wary of her. Just be honest. You have to tell her what is in your mind. You have to discuss things with her. Don't let her thinks that you stole her freedom." Hawk interjected in their conversation.

"You really know a lot." Valkyrie retorted with a devious smile while shifting his gaze to Savannah. "She gave you a hard time, didn't she?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Savannah kicked him but Valkyrie blocked it with his hands immediately. "We argue sometimes but I didn't give him a hard time."

"Chill. I was just kidding. Why are you so hot-headed? Is your grand aunt visiting you today?" Valkyrie teased her again but Savannah stopped and just rolled her eyes.

"If I know, you are just envious. You've been with him for years! For heaven's sake! Years and still there is no progress. Compared to Travis and Jillyanna, you are so slow and dumb." Savannah poked his sore spot with a mocking smile.

"I was just joking! Why are you being mean?!" Valkyrie retorted while clutching his chest as if he was really hurt. Well, he was hurt but what she said was a fact. He can't deny those claims.

"Stop bullying him already. Let's understand that he's missing a certain someone while watching sweet couples around him." Travis added with a straight face.

Valkyrie couldn't help but snickered at their mocking and ridicules. "Just you wait. I won't be single soon."

"I'm wishing you luck." Hawk spoke in serious tone that Valkyrie didn't know if he was joking or if he was really serious with his wish for him.

"Hn. I wish you luck. I bet that even after Jillyanna and Travis hold their wedding, you won't be able to make up with your guy yet." Savannah added.

"Are you guys really wishing me to succeed or to fail?" Valkyrie glared at them. He looked around the place and went to pick some oranges. "I'm honestly afraid, you know."

"What are you afraid of?" It was Jillyanna who asked her after making a phone call. "Did something happen?"

"Are you done with your call? That quick?" Travis asked with a doubtful expression.

"She'll be coming tomorrow morning with Brown. We'll talk personally tomorrow." Jillyanna responded, her expression was one of anticipation and nervous.

Valkyrie's facial expression was mirroring Jillyanna. He was anticipating for a certain someone to come and nervous at the same time.

"Jillyanna, can I talk to you real-quick?" Valkyrie voiced out which made the three people to raise their eyebrows.

"Sure sure." Jillyanna looked at him with cheerful eyes as if she knew that he would be asking help from her. "Let's talk over there."

"Why are you guys keeping a secret?! Hey!" Savannah yelled at them but Valkyrie just raised his middle finger at them.

Travis just chuckled. "Looks like he found a new ally." he stated.

"Are we that unreliable in his eyes?" Savannah sulked as if she was abandoned forever.

"Nope but we always spoil his plans and tease him." Hawk admitted which made Savannah and Travis to grin. They don't have anything to refute to that statement.

When Jillyanna and Valkyrie were far enough to hold a secret conversation, she turned to Valkyrie with an inquisitive look.

Valkyrie scratched the back of his neck while looking from left to right. He didn't know where to start.

"Looking at a big guy who's being shy in front of me is rather funny and cute. However, I don't think a certain someone would want you to show that expression to anyone else." Jillyanna started, holding back her laughter from seeing his awkward expression.

"I like Evan."

"Uh huh. I can see that."

"Is it that obvious?"

"It became obvious when he left. When he was still with us, you were cold and uncaring. It seemed to me that you were only toying with his feelings."

"Can't you not be so honest? I know my shortcomings already."

"I don't want to lie. If you want to make it up to him, I have to be honest." Jillyanna said firmly. 'I really want to make a story of them. Ahhh! I can't wait to see Brown's expression again. I want to tease him!' She screamed internally but she remained poker face in front of him.

"I need your help. I need him back." Valkyrie spoke his thoughts. "I want to tell him everything but I am not sure if he would listen to me. I need to have a plan. If you were to write our story, how do you want me to confess?"
