Chasing After My Wife Chapter 179

The woman fixed her work uniform and walked towards the gate where she met a handsome man.
"How have you been?" She asked the man who only shrugged his shoulders. "Don't worry, we'll be able to have a feast soon. I found a very amazing target. God! Just thinking about her make me wet."
"Just call me when everything's ready. I still have a class." The man responded with a poker face.
"Sure. Have a great day prof." The woman stated with a wink and left. It's almost lunch break and her shift will start soon so she ran towards the cafeteria.
The handsome man just looked at her and chuckle. He pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose and walked towards the Finance building.
He and the other men depended on the lady to find their target since she worked at the cafeteria and she can see many students from different departments. However, this time he found a target that made his blood boil from so much excitement.
Yesterday, when he bumped into her, the smoothness of her skin graced his starving soul. Her smell made him crave for more but she was always with a guy so he couldn't make a move on his own.
'It's fine. I will have the right time to strike.' He thought to himself as he walked on the corridor. He saw her talking to the same guy again but she didn't look happy. In fact, she looked angry.
'That's right. Be angry and I can give you comfort later.' he noted mentally and walked together with his fellow professor who was going to hold a lecture with her class.
On that same day, Winter decided to talk personally with Jillyanna. She didn't want any misunderstanding between them, specially that they will be family in the future.

She called Travis to let him know she's coming to visit them. Travis didn't refuse her. As much as possible he want his soon-to-be wife and cousin in good terms. He didn't want their friendship to be broken just because they both worry about his opinion.
Just before lunch, Winter arrived and saw Thomas watching a movie in the living room. "Hi Uncle! I am home."
"Winter! Darling dear, how are you? Welcome home." Thomas greeted her back with obvious happiness.
Winter gave him a warm hug and handed her gifts. "I'm sorry I only come home today. Life in the military has been busy. I can even only stay for a day because I am not done with the mission yet."
Thomas kept smiling while guiding her to sit. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. When you're done, come and visit us again. Travis will be getting married soon."
"Really? He didn't tell me anything. Doesn't he want me to attend his wedding?" She joked at her uncle while looking around the house. "This place didn't change at all."
"It has change." Thomas corrected her. "There's warmth and life to this place now."
Jillyanna and Travis heard the commotion outside. They went down together to find Thomas talking to Winter. Travis was expressionless and was observing Jillyanna's reaction. As expected, she didn't like seeing his cousin. She turned her heels and walked back to their room without saying anything.
Travis followed her to see if she's alright. She wasn't saying anything which got him worried. "Jill, do you still hate her?"
"What I feel doesn't matter." she uttered softly without turning back to look at him. "Talk to your cousin. I'll be leaving in a moment."
"Where are you going?" Travis asked in a panic with alarms ringing at the back of his mind.

"To a place where I won't see her. Don't worry, I am not going to leave you. I just want to think for awhile." she assured him.
"I'll ask someone to drive the car for you."
"That's fine."
They went downstairs together and found Winter eating some fruits. She raised her head and saw the two of them.
She was about to call her when Jillyanna turned to face Travis and kissed his face. "I'm going to leave now. I'll call you later."
"Take care of yourself. If you get yourself in trouble, make sure to call me as soon as possible." Travis reminded her. She just nodded her head and walked out of the house.
"Wait! Jillyanna! Wait a minute!" Winter called out to her but she continued to walk without looking back.
Winter moved quickly and ran after her. She held on to her hand when she caught up with her. "What's wrong with you? I came here to talk with you."
"I've got nothing to say to you. Let me go." Jillyanna responded while pulling back her hand.
"Did you tell him everything?" Winter asked which stopped Jillyanna's actions. "Did you talk to him already? If you really care about my cousin, I don't want you to keep any secrets from him."
Jillyanna looked towards Travis who was watching them from the porch. She pulled her hand again and left.
"I'll wait for you to come home." Winter stated as she watched Jillyanna leave. She had two different goals today. One, she wanted to apologize. Second, she wanted to let her know of her forgotten memories - the past that they hid from her. She didn't want Jillyanna to be in the dark of her life.
Jillyanna was distracted for the whole afternoon. She went to visit Hawk and Valkyrie so she could use her things for a while. She needed to vent her frustrations.
"Savannah will be home around eight tonight." Hawk informed her. "Please teach her everything you can for her safety."
"Are you making a move?" Jillyanna asked while she wore the necklace around her neck. The cool metal calmed her mind a little.
"We've got clues already, tomorrow we will search the cave and the houses near the location."
"Did something happen?"
"Her friend at the university was kidnapped last night." It was Valkyrie who answered, showing her a photo of a woman on the laptop.
