Chasing After My Wife Chapter 177

Night came and Savannah's first day in A University turned out to be a worthy trip. She met someone who helped her and she got some valuable information, too.
She kept her notes secured and went home when it was quarter to nine in the evening.
"You're the new student, right?" someone asked Savannah which made her turned around to see who it was. She immediately hid her surprise and went back to her friendly mode.
"You're the lady at the cafeteria!" Savannah exclaimed. "Do you always go home this late?"
"Hn. We still have to clean up the cafeteria before we can leave." The woman answered. "Where do you live? I can drop you off if you want. My driver will be here in few minutes."
Savannah waved her hand in front of her to refuse such offer. "No need. I am fine. My house isn't far from here and I can still take the bus."
"Alright. If you say so. Be careful on your way home." The cafeteria lady said before walking away from her. A black car was waiting for her few meters from where they stood.
When the car drove away, Savannah started walking towards the bus stop. It never escaped from her observation that the car stopped not far from the waiting area.
"Young miss, I found the one you wanted. I brought her to your secret place already." The driver stated while watching the woman from the rearview mirror.
"Let's keep her for awhile. I found a new target." She responded. Her eyes were watching Savannah who was waiting for the bus. "Isn't she lovely? I like her friendly yet arrogant attitude. I like to watch her eyes glaze with ecstasy."
"When shall I get her?" The driver asked after seeing Savannah. "She does look great and her body is well-proportioned." Even in the presence of his boss, he didn't hide the hard on that Savannah caused.

"Let's observe for a while. I want her in a week. Follow her for now." She commanded which the man followed immediately.
Savannah boarded the bus and chose to sit at the back corner where she can observe the car. She acted like a lonely woman, leaning on the window with a sad expression but her eyes were scanning the cars which followed them behind.
When she got down at her stop, she walked slowly while observing the high and low places. She looked so innocent and men kept watching her like she's some kind of eye candy.
When she reached home, she found Jillyanna sitting on the couch with the accessories placed on the coffee table.
"How's your day?" Jillyanna asked her when she entered the house.
"I got several information. I'll go over with Valkyrie and Hawk later." She responded while scanning the room to find the two men. "Where are they?"
"Valkyrie is currently pacifying your man. Who would've thought that he'd be this jealous?"
"That idiot. I even told him to take care of you when you get here." Savannah responded as she placed her bag and books on the table. "I'll change for a while so you can teach me."
"Sure."
Savannah went to her room and changed to a comfortable set of clothings. She didn't even bother to find Hawk and started her combat practice with Jillyanna.
"Travis really allowed you to come over alone? That is really unexpected!" Savannah exclaimed while hitting her dummy targets with a sling shot as a temporary medium instead of her earrings.
"I have to sacrifice myself a bit to get his agreement. And I am not alone, I was sent her by the driver and he will come and get me when it's time to leave."

"Travis is really strict when it comes to your safety. I hope you don't find it suffocating."
"Nope. Not at all." Jillyanna replied with a faint smile. "In fact, I am glad to receive so much care from him."
"That's good to know." Savannah commented. She swing her arms around and took down her targets one after the other. "Until what time will you be here?" She asked Jillyanna who was looking for a different item to use.
"I can only stay until ten."
"I see. I'll come home earlier tomorrow." Savannah promised since she didn't want to inconvenience Jillyanna at all, given that she's pregnant.
Jillyanna didn't say anything at this point and just watched her practice to see if there's anything she needed to adjust. Savannah was rather diligent with her practice routine. She wanted to save the victims without anyone worrying for her which was the reason she agreed to this practice.
As promised to Travis, she left the rented Japanese-style house at ten in the evening and went home.
"How are they? Did they get anything relevant to the case?" Travis asked her when she got home. He was currently checking some documents while he waited for her.
Jillyanna walked to him and kissed his left cheek as she sat down beside him. "Savannah got a lot of information and was going to discuss it with Valkyrie and Hawk. It was a great thing that she bumped into David."
"Who's that?"
"He's a cop working in the same station as Lucian. Most of the time, he works undercover and provide intel to us."
"And Hawk didn't get mad about that?" Travis asked with incredulous expression. He knew that Hawk was easy to get jealous and he was right.
In the same moment that they are speaking, Savannah was trying her best to coax the man beside her. She didn't really expect that he would get jealous and to top it all, he refused to speak to her.
"You can't be serious! There's nothing to be jealous of. You should at least be happy that I used your last name when I introduced myself." Savannah stated in frustration.
"Can you not see him tomorrow?" Hawk asked her. He really tried his best to think that it was just for the mission but his heart won't just stop from feeling sour. He can't stop himself from getting jealous.
