Chapter 866: The Fraternity’s Most Important Thing
Selina continued, “Her parents and the school called the police and suspected that she had been kidnapped, but they’ve never been able to find her. In fact, nobody would’ve known that she was Molly Johnson if she hadn’t said her name.”
Luke nodded thoughtfully.
When they found the girl, she was dressed like a college student in her early twenties.
If they didn’t know who she was, most people wouldn’t associate her with a fifteen-year-old high school student.
However, this news couldn’t be considered too bad, and wasn’t worth an explanation on Selina’s part.
Selina said, “I just received a call from the nurse, Christine. She said that the SVU hasn’t filed a case over Molly. They just said that they would investigate it, before they left.”
Luke asked, “Why?”
Selina said, “Apart from saying her name, Molly hasn’t said anything about the last three months. Apart from the fact that her mental state isn’t right, there’s no evidence that she has been assaulted. The SVU can only conclude that she ran away from home three months ago and went missing.”
Luke nodded, not surprised at all.
The SVU’s conclusion wasn’t without basis. After all, Molly had reappeared in one piece, and she herself hadn’t said anything. In this sort of situation, it was unlikely that the police would file a case.
NYPD was very busy. Molly’s slightly suspicious circumstance wasn’t enough for an investigation.
“What’s the problem?” asked Luke.
Selina said, “Christine suspects that Molly is suffering from severe trauma, which is why she can’t tell us what happened. She wants us to go to the hospital tomorrow.”
Luke said, “We’re not psychiatrists. Why does she want us there?”
Selina said, “She said that she’s asked a friend to help with Molly’s psychiatric treatment tomorrow at ten in the morning. We might be able to get some clues from Molly then.”

Hearing this, Luke simply nodded in agreement. “Alright.”
He and Selina were the first to discover the girl. Since the SVU didn’t care, they could certainly take back the case.
Investigating cases was their job to begin with.
As long as they didn’t break any rules, there was no need for them to justify themselves to anyone.
If a nurse like Christine could help a complete stranger, Luke also wouldn’t be stingy with his time.
After that, Selina went to rest.
Luke returned to the basement.
Looking at the new, spacious workspace, he sighed in satisfaction. “Now this is the workshop I want.”
Walking into a separate space, he took out some of the unknown materials that he had obtained from the Fraternity and began to examine them.
What did the Fraternity have that was worth Luke making a move?
The very first thing naturally… wasn’t experience or credit, but the product made from the unknown materials he had obtained: a medicinal bath.
According to Rebecca and Bloodmint, the medicinal bath with unknown ingredients could accelerate the recovery of the human body.
Injuries such as bruises, cuts, and fractures would basically heal in a few hours with the medicinal bath.
When Luke heard that, his first reaction was that he had to get it.
This was definitely the Fraternity’s most valuable item; it was far more valuable than their hitmen business or that clacking antique loom.
Even the Fraternity’s Curve Shooting and Physical Outburst weren’t as good as this amazing medicinal bath.
Saving someone was always more difficult than killing them.
Luke could easily kill most people in this world, including those with superpowers.
But when it came to saving people, he only had two choices.
One was to let Gold Nugget combine with the other party and heal them before withdrawing.

The second was to use that unknown ruby red liquid which he had snatched away from the mouth of the giant octopus on the ocean liner.
Both methods were problematic.
Gold Nugget’s identity had to be kept a secret. It would be troublesome if the dog head’s alien identity was exposed.
Luke also hadn’t made much progress in determining the source of the unknown red liquid, as well as its composition and side effects.
Also, while he had a fair amount of the liquid, he wouldn’t waste it randomly.
On the other hand, this bath could be created and used multiple times.
Rebecca did say, however, that the materials for the medicinal bath were limited, and only the middle and upper echelons were qualified to use it.
There were more than twenty famous hitmen in the upper rank, while the mid-ranked hitmen were newcomers with potential.
According to Rebecca’s description, however, while this type of medicinal bath was rare, it was used no less than twenty times a year on average.
As a life-saving trump card, that was a lot.
With such a miraculous treatment method, it was truly such a waste for the Fraternity to use this only to train hitmen.
Luke had to obtain this as a life-saving trump card for his family, teammates, and future allies.
He had been looking for two things in Sloan’s room tonight: a list of the Fraternity’s hitmen and the formula for the special medicinal bath.
Unfortunately, he found neither.
It wasn’t until he knocked out the Exterminator and obtained the special medicinal bath mix from the man’s list of abilities that he was pleasantly surprised.
After learning the ability, Luke checked the bath formula.
In the end, the Exterminator only knew the process for the medicinal bath, but didn’t know the key ingredients.
The unknown materials were all given to the Exterminator at a fixed time by Sloan, and the Exterminator only knew to add the prescribed amounts in order to create the medicinal bath.
Just like how assembly line workers didn’t know how to make all the parts, the Exterminator was just a pharmaceutical dispenser.
Luke was slightly disappointed, but not too surprised.
How could a cunning man like Sloan simply give such a good thing to his subordinates?
If it were Luke, he wouldn’t divulge the secret of the raw materials either. Other than Robert and Selina, he would only give the others the finished product.
He needed to be even more cautious when dealing with Sloan.
As the leader of the Fraternity, Sloan had enough power to keep the processing of the raw materials separate; the old man might not necessarily have the ability to manufacture the raw materials.
If Luke killed Sloan directly, the formula might be lost.
As Luke pondered how he was going to clean up the Fraternity’s foundation, his hands never stopped moving as he put all the raw materials into various equipment for analysis.
It would take some time.
Putting that aside, Luke began to add new functions to Selina’s armor.
Daredevil would rest for a few days at most before he set out again.
If they ran into each other again, it would be troublesome if he knew who Selina was.

Rebirth Of Civilization
Andrew suddenly finds himself alone in world that is not his own. The creatures are hostile and unfamiliar, the land around him unrecognizable. He will have to work hard to explore the wilderness he has found himself in, to unravel the ancient magics of this world, and to create a safe place for the others lost in a foreign world like himself. This is a slow paced novel, with an early focus on discovery, survival and crafting. The slow pace is intentional as I hope to write this novel for many many chapters to come. This is also the first fiction I've written and I'm always working on improving my writing so all feedack is appreciated and taken into account. Discord

Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world. The Tales of the Revolution
Synopsis: As a scholar of science and technology, Joseph Algorith was a man who pursued his dream in unrealistic methods, using his intelligence to surpass all hurdles in this Galactic Era. He was an idealist that combined his thoughts with realism. However, unbeknownst to him in how it had happened, he had gained the opportunity to research a new system, a massive planetoid shrouded in mysteries and magic. However, to fully realize his ambition and creativity, he must save the human race of this magical world, filled with different races and monsters. “The Heavens had forced me, so I shall propose and never will be disposed of.”- Joseph Algorith Spoiler: Basically, he is reborn, with his knowledge as a scientist of the galactic era, into a new world with magic and aura powers. In this world, humans are part of the 7 major races, but two (or three) are planning to enslave them, while the others are watching on the sidelines. His plans are to develop modern weapons to strengthen the human nation because the mages and aura users aren't immortal or have steel flesh even as they get more power to the point they can deal damage of a howitzer using special moves. Though it doesn't mean that there aren't magical armours (and other things)... Extra: I'm not sure if romance will be in this. Depends on whether you, the readers, would like it or how I develop the story further. And there won't be an exact release schedule as I prefer my pace of writing and because I'm busy in life (school and extra activities, FML). If you find any mistakes, please remind me. Also, my writing style and the pace of the story may be slower than other stories you might have read on this website. Though I may make some revisions with the story, considering my editor's thoughts. Also, my story has some concepts from RTW in terms of the idea of creating weapons in a magical world, however, the plot is mine. After reading, tell me, what do you think of the beginning? What do you think your rating would be.?If possible, comment down below anything that could help me improve or to express your thoughts. Lastly, please NO COPY AND PASTE!
