His plan has worked!

Adrius was so happy that he smiled truly for the first time in some months. His genius plan has worked, now he owns a city. He can get as many resources as he wants. Whether it’s human or other things.

He walked through the castle of the Saloman family. Dead bodies were everywhere, some bodies were flayed, some burned and some were cut in two. His instructions were followed to the letter. He ordered everyone killed, except for Veronica.

Speaking of Veronica while he was walking toward her room he saw her running toward him.

She was crying and had almost the looks of someone who had gone mad. Her blonde hair was in a mess, her face was covered in blood and her clothes two. She was wearing a white dress from what he could see from the clean spots in the dress.

“Adrius! My love, help me, they killed everyone, they killed everyone. Even my little Chris, they killed him.” She was sobbing on his shoulder like a little child.

“Shh, it is okay Veronica. Are you and the baby okay? I heard the news while I was halfway there and had to go back. It seems I was late. I’m sorry I was not here to protect you.”

Veronica was sobbing: “ No no, don’t be sorry. It was not your fault, I know who did this.”

Adrius’ brow rose like he was surprised, he was not wearing a mask so it was easy to tell what he was thinking: “ Really? Who is this fucker that dares to do such an act to the family of my child? I will flay and make a skin suit out of them.”

“It was someone called Primo or something, he said that he worked for you. I saw him ording some people to kill everyone, he said that his Master ordered everyone dead so his plan will work.”

Adrius made his best confused face: “ I don't know someone in the name of Primo, my love, you don’t think that it was me that ordered this massacre do you?”

Veronica shook her head: “ No, of course not. I know you are a good man in your own way and you won’t order this massacre. You love me and won’t do such things to my family because they would have also been your family when our son was born”

Adrius was dying of laughter inside: ‘ This girl is so naive that it is painful to be with her. But this naivety will kill her eventually. But I will drain her of her usage first, after it is not polite to leave your food and projects not finished’

Adrius was called many names but he was not a maniac, he had a brain. And knew damn well how to use it. He may be overly cruel, but this was a technique to him. When he is overly cruel, he is inspiring fear into his enemies making them fear him. Because fear is the best way to control, it will not bring you respect, but what is respect worth when people fear you and follow every command you give fearing the punishment they will get if they don’t follow.

He discarded the thoughts and focused on the girl in his arms: “Veronica, come with me. I will take you to my airship and I will come back to clear the area and kill everyone involved. Don’t worry I will bring you their heads.”

He led her to his airship and tasked Hadith of protecting her. After that he went back to the castle.

After arriving at the main hall he was met with 50 people, they all wore blood red clothes and some of them wore raven masks.

They all bowed when he entered: “ We welcome you Master, your loyal servants are at your command.”

He was wearing his mask again so he was very mysterious to them.

In the front row was First, he was wearing his Blood King outfit and was kneeling on the floor unlike the others who were bowing. Showing his respect and loyalty to Adrius.

“All of you rise”

After everyone rose he went to the chair in the middle of the hall and sat there.

“I’ve gathered you here to tell you that you have done a great job, I congratulate you”

Everyone was visibly happier, it was not every day you get praised by a magus. But the next words made their faces drop.

“But you see, unfortunately you know too much and therefore it is time for you to die.”

Before anyone can protest they start to pop one after another. Blood and organs were flying everywhere. Some exploded, some got flayed and some started to burn. And the worst of them was the Blood King who was being torn apart centimeter by centimeter.

The blood king screamed: “You fucking traitor, you promised me wealth and lordship.”

Adrius laughed at his words: “ Well, you ant of a mortal. I’m a magus, why would I keep my promise to a mortal who will die anyway. Did you really think that I will make your organisation live after I’m done with my plans? You are really naive if you think that. From the first minute your fate ws death, the moment you got your names you signed your death certificate.”

The death party lasted for sometime, until the last one died.

Thus Blood Raven was dead, and it was killed by it’s own maker.
