The Firebird city was beautiful at night, The treats were crowded with people, shops were open and selling God knows what. People were talking, eating and having fun at night but on the other side they didn’t know there was a chase happening right above them.

Above the roofs of the shops there was a person running and was frightened by something that was chasing him. The figure was running from roof to roof sprinting as hard as he could and every second he would look back to see if that person was still chasing him. Unfortunately for him, they were still chasing him.

He was frightened. He knew exactly who it was the person chasing him, but didn’t know who it was, he only knew that it was a member of the blood raven organization but he didn’t know which one of the six blood lords was it.

The six blood lords are the main members of the blood raven syndicate. They were trained to be assassins and they are stronger than your normal human by a lot. They have made themselves a name by killing every person in a rival syndicate. They were six against 50 and they won.

Eventually the man couldn’t run any more, his legs were burning with pain. He had hit a dead end. There were no other roofs to jump to, there was a big wall stopping him from getting to other places. He has reached the big castle of the city Lord. At that moment he knew it was over.

He couldn’t do anything else because the moment he turned his head he saw the person that was chasing him standing behind him. They looked like a teenager. He couldn't see their face because there was a mask over their face that had a peek of a Raven and only had holes for the eyes. He looked into the eyes of his killer, he didn’t flinch when he saw that they were icy cold. They look dead like a dead person walking, not a human being. He knew at the moment that his death was signed in stone. He knew it was signed in stone the day he decided to work with the Giants. He knew that when he gave them the Intel that they needed, he was doomed. But he didn’t know that his death would be this soon. He was a bartender and people come to his bar to drink and he has to hear some things when he is serving and one day he heard an Intel that says the blood raven was doing a hit on somebody from the giants syndicate. So he sold the information that resulted in the death of 20 members of the blood raven. He was trying to escape tonight when he saw the blood Lord watching him from the shadows. He knew that if he got out of the gate he would die instantly so he did what he did best, run.

He looked at the blood Lord again but this time his mind was calm: “ I won’t beg, so if you’re waiting for me to beg for my life and start crying then it won’t happen just kill me”

The blood Lord looked at him with his undistinguishable figure and his cold demeanor then said: “ Pride I see, you are proud that you won’t beg, but you have to know something. Your information resulted in the death of 20 of my subordinates so today you won’t die. No no no no no no you will wish for death a thousand time before I kill you, and don’t worry about you dying of torture or pain I have my methods. Also when a blood Lord speak to you, you lower your gaze”

After the blood Lord finished, the victim didn’t know what happened; he just felt that something hit him in the head and he was on the floor kneeling in front of this blood lord. He knew who it was, every blood Lord has a distinct personality and the second blood Lord is known for his dominance and love for torture. He was the leader of the second legion and next in command after the blood king. The first blood Lord is called The Blood King not blood lord, because the blood king is the leader of the six Lords and they give the orders and everything. No one knows exactly who the blood king is. They didn’t show their face once but they know that they are a very cruel person. They have once eradicated a whole family just because the family had ties with the Giants syndicate.

The second blood Lord spoke again: “ do you know what? Who does not deserve my time I will just kill you” and with a swift motion of his hand a wound was open in the man’s throat and blood was gushing out like a waterfall. After he was sure that the man died he called his subordinates and told them: “Take his body, put it in his bar, kill everybody in the bar and then burn it and you know what to do next” His subordinate saluted and went to do their job.

He then went back to the mansion to report to his boss lady Lilly, the person he fears the most. It has been three months since he entered the organization and he still doesn’t know who is the leader of it. He just knows that Lilly is just a slave to him and that made shiver in fear because Lilly on her own is terrifying. But when one time a man entered the house, he was around 2 m long, had a black skin and battle scars covered his whole body and told Lilly that “Master sent him” he swore he saw her shiver in fear by the mention of the name Master.

So who is the person that made a person so terrifying shiver in fear by the mention of their existence?

But he knew that thinking about it will not bring him anything because he’s just simply a pawn and the game of the “Master”. Even his brothers and sisters said that this “Master” is playing with them; he's using them for his own benefit.

Clearing his mind he knocked on the door to Lilly’s office.

“Come in” he heard a female voice say

He opened the door and closed it again after entering, then he went and stood in front of the table waiting for Lilly to ask him to talk. She still looks the same, the same beautiful face, the same beautiful hair but he knew that looks are deceiving. This woman was one of the cruelest people he ever saw in his life.

“ your report, Second” she said without even looking at him.

“ The traitor has been neutralized, I have sent my subordinates to burn his bar so the Giants syndicate knows that we are coming for them.”

Lilly nodded: “Good job, you may take the rest of the day off you don’t have any other missions to complete”

Second saluted and went out, now he was free to do what he wanted.

Inside Lilly was still looking at the documents but her mind was elsewhere. She was meeting Veronica in about 12 hours to discuss a possible match her father brought her. Of course this match will also go missing like the other five in the last three months. This was Adrius’ orders that Veronica still remain single until he comes back and does his plan that is still a mystery until today. She knew that the plan would have a lot of bloodshed but she didn’t know what was the plan. And that scared her. She was already scared of Adrius the first time she saw him but now she was terrified of him. She saw him every day in her nightmares watching her, smiling, his black whiteless eyes watching her swallow her, swallowing every atom of her, destroying her face, destroying her consciousness. He was not a normal human he was a magus being that is more terrifying than anything else in this world, being that stands on the top of the predatory pyramid. He was a predator and she was the prey. It will not be discussed, he will kill her eventually she knows it but at least she wants to go on her own way but she knows that she couldn't do it because Adrius will never allow it. She was his slave after all.
