Adrius walked and Veronica followed him to his room so she could see his face.

They chatted a little while walking and in a matter of minutes they were at the door of the room Hadith and Lilly were waiting there.

“ Welcome back master, do you have any orders?” Asked Hadith

Adrius shook his head: “ No you can go and train a little”

They both bowed to him then went on their way, Adrius then opened the door: “ please come in” he said to Veronica.

After they entered the room they found a place and sat in front of each other.

Veronica was a little nervous; this was the first time she has ever been with a man in a room by themselves.

“ I will take my hoodie off now but please don’t be scared” Said Adrius in a sad voice, like someone who has lived this scenario thousands of times. Adrius was trying to make her sad so she will be vulnerable when he makes his move.

He actually thought about using a slave of love but then discarded the idea because any magus or anyone who has a magic sense can sense the magic imitating from Veronica if they ever met, and it will be suspicious considering she is not a magus apprentice.

That’s why he was using the old seduction method.

“ No I won’t Lord Adrius I swear, you are one of the nicest people I’ve ever seen”

Adrius then got up and sat on the bed and imitated to Veronica to come sit beside him.

Veronica went to the bed and sat beside him. She was red as a tomato because that was the closest she ever got to a stranger.

Adrius then slowly took off his hoodie and his face was shown to Veronica. Veronica’s eyes were opened with shock looking at Adrius' abyss like black eyes.

“ Look, I told you you would be scared” Said Adrius in a sad voice, and his face showed that he was heartbroken.

Veronica then said: “Scared? This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen”

She then pulled her courage together and held Adrius’ hand and looked him in the eyes.

“ Thank you Veronica, this is the nicest thing I’ve heard since I got these damn eyes.” Said Adrius with a tear in his eye.

Adrius knew a chance has come so he leaned on her and kissed her on the lips it was a small prick but it changed everything.

“ I am sorry I shouldn't have done that,” Said Adrius in a panicked voice.

Veronica was still for a second then she came to the realization of what happened and her face turned more red and she looked down: “No it’s okay Lord Adrius. Honestly I had the same idea but I didn’t have the courage to do it”

Hearing that Adrius smiled wickedly inside, his plan has succeeded. He has unknown to Veronica changed the temperature of the room to a romantic temperature and made some changes without her knowing to make it more romantic so when he kissed her it was like the perfect moment for both of them. Thus making it more likely for her to fall for him.

Adrius then thought it was time for the next step. He held her hands and lifted her chin with his hand: “ Veronica I don’t know how to say this but when I saw you today something awoke inside of me, something I thought was long gone. I didn’t know what it was at first but now I know what it is: it is love Veronica love.” Said Adrius in a loving expression and loving voice he was a very good actor and that was the hardest thing he has ever done since he came to the magus world.

Hearing that Veronica‘s feelings were in a mess, she had a crush on this man the moment she saw him and his powers at breakfast. She has spent the whole day with him and now he’s confessing his love to her. It sounded more like a fairytale, not a real life story.

“ Lord Adrius I also have the same feelings for you” set Veronica in a shy expression.

Adrius' expression lit up with enjoyment and happiness. But then he noticed Veronica‘s face and he saw that she was hesitating to say something: “ Veronica please say anything you want”

Veronica’s face became even more red when she said: “ Can you kiss me again?”

Hearing this Adrius laughed: “ of course I can and there will be a lot more than that in the future”

Veronica covered her face with both of her hands hearing this. She then lowered her hands and looked at Adrius waiting for a kiss. Going for a kiss Adrius looked at the blonde beauty in front of him. She had blonde hair and blue eyes just like her mother. He then thought: ‘ damn this girl is very beautiful if it was a normal man then he would’ve fallen for her at second.’

Adrius then kissed her but this time it lasted more than the first one and after they were done Veronica got up and said: “ I should probably go now my mother might be looking for me”

Thinking of her mother Veronica was in disgust, she actually told Veronica to seduce him so he would fall in love with her but she didn’t do it. She just talked with him and became his friend and after that he really fell for her, he fell for her personality not because of her seduction.

After Veronica left the room Adrius sat on the bed and started laughing in his head the first two steps of his plan were done. Now it was the hard steps he had to kill the city Lord and his family. Well except for Veronica.

‘ I am too weak to pull this off. I should get back to the academy and when I’m strong enough I can finish the plan.’

Adrius sat down and started meditating, meditation was like breathing to magus they have to do it at least once a day so they can see progress.

He did not get any stronger in the past week but he sensed that he was at the verge of getting a new magic point.

In the middle of his meditation he felt that someone was calling him on his soul stamp.

he saw who it was, it was Croft: “ hello Professor how can I help you?”

“ Hi Adrius I’m here to tell you that your airship is arriving in 12 hours so be ready”

“ thank you Professor goodbye”

“Goodbye“

Adrius then called on Hadith and Lilly he communicated with them using the soul stamp he put on their hands, it was like the soul stamp he uses to communicate with other people but he has modified it to to make it like a slavery soul stamp so he can communicate with them, order them and kill them without any problems.

After they arrived Adrius said to them: “ Our ship will be arriving in 12 hours so be ready to pack your things and get some sleep. It will be a long journey.”

They both nodded and then got out to do their things Adrius then started to pack his things he didn’t have much but he started packing anyways.

He was not afraid that his plan was going to fail not because he was overconfident or anything but because if they didn’t die then he can try again it’s not a problem but if they did die and Veronica is the only one alive but some people wouldn’t like it for her to be a city lord then they couldn’t do anything because he will be backing her in the shadows so he will get the city. With just thinking about the city and all of the resources he can get off of it made his mouth drool.

‘I will definitely succeed even if it means I have to kill them myself’ thought Adrius with a murderous glow in his eyes.
