“Who the fuck are you?”

The room was silent as people were absorbing the shock they got from this question. They were really dumbfounded, Albert Lykos was a great knight. A being that had the power to kill a rank 2 magus apprentice. Great knights were famous around the whole region as a force not to mess with.

But this Adrius just came into a great knight’s own home and wanted to kill three of his family, but he didn’t even know who Albert was?

Sophie was not shocked about the subject, she didn’t tell Adrius about Albert because she didn’t know he was behind these 3. You see these 3 students are not of the main family, but a side family. So she didn’t think Albert Lykos, the leader of the family and a great knight, was behind all of this: ‘ It’s my mistake, I should have come to the conclusion sooner. Like how did 3 average students get the courage to steal from the academy if they didn’t have someone backing them?’

Albert stood there unfazed by the question: “ Boy you are very brave to come into my house and ask me who I am?”

Albert was wearing his metal armor, he wore armor all the time except when he slept. His mentality was “ You don’t know when a fight starts”.

His armor had a golden color, and had a deer's head on it’s chest. It was Lykos’ family symbol. Albert then took a helmet from the table beside his chair and he put it on, it was a normal helmet it also had a golden color like the rest of the armor. But the most impressive thing about it was the deer’s antlers on it. The antlers were black and looked very real.

The armor as a whole weighed approximately 60 kg, but knights had stronger physics than humans and some magus even.

‘According to the books that talk about knights, great knights are 6x stronger than humans and can compete with rank 2 magus apprentice. As for normal knights they are 3x and can compete with rank 1 magus apprentice. And there is the Grand knight that is 9x stronger than normal humans and can compete with rank 3 magus apprentice. But thankfully Grand knights are very rare’ Thought Adrius fast, he was a little afraid actually because if Albert got too close to him then he would be dead. So he has to play from a distance.

Sophie looked at Albert and then at Adrius: “ Adrius you take care of the 3 students, I will take care him”

Adrius was surprised, he really thought that she would drop all the responsibility on him: “ You got it”

Saying that Adrius activated shadow step and ran toward the 3 students.

Albert couldn’t hold his anger anymore and he stood in Adrius’s way to stop him: “ You are very bold for a bunch of kids, you are talking about killing people from my family like I am not here”

But before he could stop Adrius, Sophie clashed with Albert. The clash was so strong that it sent some of the furniture flying. Dust was everywhere, the 3 students were terrified from the scene that was playing in front of them. Sophie and Albert were matched in physical power!

But before they could say anything, a dark arrow pierced through Alice’s head and her body dropped dead. The other two students activated their defence spells immediately.

Adrius then appeared in front of a student and slashed with his sword, the spell stopped the sword from hitting the student but it made him take some steps back, because the blow was not normal but it had magic in it: “ Hahaha, do you think you can kill us with only such weak methods” Laughed the student that was attacked.

Adrius laughed: “ Do you think that is my real attack? You are very stupid aren’t you?”

The student went pale and looked everywhere and he finally saw something above him, it was a tube with a weird liquid inside it. He became paler after he saw it because he knew what it was, it was poison!

He then looked at Adrius, Adrius had a mocking look in his whiteless eyes: “ Goodbye” Saying that the bottle exploded and the liquid fell over him.

“Ahhhh!” Screamed the student while his face was melting, it was not poison in the tube. But acid Adrius made.

The other student was trying to run but he was chained in place by an invincible chain. Adrius has become so good at controlling his magic that now he can chain people only with his magic.

The student was very scared seeing all of this happening, and seeing Adrius coming at him he was very scared and wanted to surrender but Adrius had another thing in his mind for him: “ You see, I have made some new adjustments to my creation “Poison of eternal pain” and I want to try it on someone, and by your excellent luck, you have the honor to be a test subject” Said Adrius with a big smile behind his mask.

“ You are not human! You are a demon!” Screamed the student while Adrius was cutting him with his poisoned dagger.

Adrius calmly said: “ So what? If it means I reach my goal I will turn into a demon”

The student’s eyes started to turn red and he started to cry from the pain that was building in his body, but his tears were not water. But blood! He was crying blood from the pain Adrius inflicted with “ Poison of eternal pain”.

The student then fell down on the ground and started to spasm and scream like a maniac. He even started to peel off some of his skin.

Adrius was standing 3 meters away and recording all of this to better his knowledge on his new poison. It was the same poison he used in the yearly exam but he has added some new ingredients and now it can kill a rank 2 magus apprentice easily. He also gave it the name “ Poison of eternal pain” because it really describes what it will do to the person. He got the idea of the name from examining the souls of the people he killed with the poison and figured out that even as souls they still remember the pain they suffered before dying and a lot of them were terrified of it.

Finally after some time the students' screams stopped and he died.

Meanwhile Sophie was fighting Albert with everything she could, he was a very strong opponent. They were currently in the garden, it was her idea so Adrius can kill the students without anyone interfering. So she dragged Albert here.

She knew she had to end this fight soon because the spell she was using would end very soon. She has used a spell to make her stronger but the cost was extreme exhaustion afterward. Albert’s armor was full of holes and some of his left arm was burned. This was because of Sophie’s sword which had the rune of the lightning element, thus making it very powerful and with every swing the sword would unleash a bolt of lightning.

Albert was tired because all of the wounds had built up and he had weakened by at least 40%: “ Very good kid, you have put up a better fight than half of the old farts I fought again-.”

Before Albert could finish his words a sword pierced his neck! Albert was shocked because he was sure no one was behind him. He then saw something that made him understand, he saw Adrius get out of thin air holding the sword he was stabbed with: “ Sorry about your speech, but you can finish it in another life hahahah”Said Adrius while laughing. Hearing that Albert closed his eyes and dropped dead, a great knight was killed!
