He ate much less than usual which made her anxious. When she was in her thoughts she felt a warm touch on her forehead. Alex was kissing her when she looked up. He placed his lips on her head for a full minute then kissed her on both cheeks very lovingly.
"Don't think too much. Sleep now." He wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close placing her head on his chest.
.....
Avery was finding something tapping her hands on a soft mattress but when she didn't find anything, she opened her eyes. Alex was nowhere to be seen in the room. She looked in the washroom, closet and the gallery but he nowhere. She even called him but got no response.
She walked over to the bedroom door and twisted the knob. But the door did not open because it was locked from the outside. She thought for a while and came back towards the bed.
She opened the nightstand's drawer, picked up the spare key, and as she was about to leave, her eyes went to the jar on the table which was empty. She took the jar and opened the door and came out of the room. When she came out of the room, she scanned the entire mansion. The whole mansion was dark except for the medical room.
Now she was convinced that Alex would be in the medical room. She decided to go to the kitchen first and fill the jar and then check the medical room.
After filling the jar with water, she came up again and went to the medical room. The door of the medical room was half-open. She peeked through it but Alex was not seen. She decided to call him but immediately changed her mind thinking that he might be busy and sneaked inside like a hunter.
Passing some medical equipment in the room, she went forward. Turning her head to the right, she spotted Alex. But in the next second looking at the sight in front of her eyes, hairs on her body stood up and she began to tremble, and in a moment the beautiful jar in her hand fell to the ground and turned into innumerable pieces spreading water on the marble floor.
.....
A few moments ago.

Alex lifted his body slightly from the bed and tilted his head looking down. He saw his little wife was clinging to him. Her rhythm was steady as she was in a very deep slumber. He gently lifted his hand from her waist and placed it under her head. Holding his breath, he lifted her head from his other upper arm and placed it on the pillow after removing his arm under her head.
He got down from the bed and came out of the room after scanning her once again. Thinking that she should not come out of the room without him knowing, he locked the bedroom door and went straight to the medical room. He went directly to the wall side mirror in the right corner of the room. He stood in front of the mirror for a minute before turning his back to the mirror. After turning back in the mirror, he took off his t-shirt and turned his head to look in the mirror.
The back bandages on his lower back were full of blood. He folded his right arm and stretched close to his back, and grabbed a corner of the bandage and pulled it out.
"Ahh..." He hissed in pain and looked in the mirror again.
His lower back was full of sword wounds, they were stitched but still, it was constantly bleeding.
Seeing that, he moved to the drawer and pulled out the first aid box. He came in front of the mirror again and was now facing the mirror. He took a large piece of cotton and changed the angle of his body a little and looked in the mirror to wipe the blood coming from his wet stitched wound.
After wiping the blood from the wound completely, he took the ointment, taking some amount of cream on his index finger he was about to apply but, "CRASHHH...." a loud sound came which caused him to turn.
Alex turned and his eyes widened when he was Avery in front of him. The back of his white shirt, which he had worn a few times before, was covered in blood, and Alex hid it before Avery could see it.
He was so involved in Noah's delicate condition that he never thought of his shirt. But when he saw Avery in front of his eyes, the fact triggered in his head and he tried his best not to show her his back. Downstairs his bodyguard and servant were trying to tell him about his back. But he closed their mouth with a glance.

Seeing the tears in her eyes hurt his heart. Then when his eyes went down he spotted numerous pieces of glass that would have pierced her bare feet if she had moved her body even an inch.
He lifted his eyes from the floor and looked at her again. She was still staring at him without blinking. How much she was hurt was clear on her face.
Avery was still trembling. At that time she could see nothing but Alex. She lifted her leg to approach him and was about to put it on the floor when Alex yelled. "Stop. Stop Right there." She panicked. How could Alex yell at her? She took her foot back and put it in place.
She begged him through her eyes, Let me come, please.
"Don't you dare to move?" His eyes were provoked. His behaviour made her feel humiliated. She remembered the old days when there was Clara between the two of them.
Unknowingly a sob came out of her mouth and a new force of tears began to flow from her eyes. She put her hands on her lips and closed her eyes to control her whimpers.
'Shit, what I did?' Seeing her situation, Alex realized what he had done wrong.
After placing the ointment tube on the table, he took long steps and approached her. His close presence sends a chill to her spine.
Without wasting time, he removed both her hands from her mouth and cupped her face. "Open your eyes... Love." His soothing tone calmed her heartbeat and she slowly opened her eyes.
But the next moment the words coming out of her mouth startled Alex. "You don't love me." When he heard this, he thought that someone separated his soul from him. He angled her face more so he could meet her gaze directly.
"And who told you this." He whispered gritting his teeth.
"No one, I know." Alex's eyes darkened and his aura became very strong. He let go of her face and grabbed both of her shoulders tightly. Due to his sudden tight grip, she whimpered.
"Don't test my patience and don't disrespect my love, my feelings." He brought his face dangerously close to hers. his breath fanned her little face.
She was looking at him in disbelief. He broke his promise. He was no more gentle. Her lower lip quivered. "If you loved me, you would not hide it from me." Her word took him back and his grip on her shoulder loosened automatically. He was still processing her words in his brain when she dropped another bomb on him.
"If you loved me, you wouldn't shout at me."
She was about to push his hand from her shoulder by placing her hands on his when suddenly he let go of her shoulder. Before she could process what happened, Alex grabbed her waist and lifted her from the ground into the air.
"Ah..., what are you doing?" She scared. And put her hand on his shoulder so that she would not fall. And here in a Swift move, Alex wrapped both her legs around his midriff and clapped his lips on hers.
For Alex, her delicate body, which was light as and small Feather, was very easy to handle. He could handle her body the way he wanted.
The moment he touched her lips, she immediately closed her eyes and tightened her grip on his shoulder. Alex, on the other hand, placed one hand on her hip and the other on her hair, providing a better angle to the kiss. Sucking her lips he deepened the kiss.
It was not a soft or gentle kiss but was rough and hard kiss. Like he was punishing her for bad mouthing and doubting his love.
After his beast soothed by her sweet lips, he separated himself a little from her and placed his forehead on her forehead. After pushing the strands of her hair back to her ears, he placed one hand on the backside of her head and the other on her cheek.
"Don't say that again. Don't doubt my love." He started to draw a circle on her cheek with his thumb.

The Hazards of Skinny Dipping
This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.

This version has some changes in characterisation. Brahms is a little more human, and less psychotic, and Greta is now Laurie (due to copyright minimisation) is a little more vulnerable. The story begins 2 weeks into Laurie's employment, one day before the Heelshire's commit suicide, five days before her life is changed irrevocably. This story line explores how things might have been had Laurie and Brahms had time to get to know each other, and how Brahms reacts and responds to Laurie's more understanding approach to his situation. Brahms's monster is made .... can it be unmade? Contains sex and swearing.I have changed Cole to Joel, and Sandy to Amanda.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
